Some admin of flux should mail Blizzard to get the Winners List as is stated in the rules other wise if there is no announcement and the winner is a supercasual dude we may never know
Like i said before, when we get the info, im pretty sure you will see a front page arcticle about it. If you've won, you would have received an email from blizz long before you would learn that fact from any fan site, so i dont rly see the need to have the info right this second. When blizzard releases the info (and obviously they will), you will all know about it.
If you read the rules they say this "Contest Rules. Sponsor shall choose the winners from all entrants who have submitted an entry prior to the Deadline. The decision of Sponsor is final. Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail within seven (7) days thereafter. To claim a prize, winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification."
To me, I interpret it as Blizzard (the sponsor) will choose the winners sometime after the deadline. Once they've selected the winners, they'll be notified within 7 days via email. This does not mean that they have 7 days to choose and notify of the winners from the end of the contest.
I would assume any of us who have spent real world $ will not be winning this. They wouldnt want to give us cards and dust and we spend less. So probably the broke ass free to players will win =/
People talk about the grand prize as if they will win it. At most you can realistically expect to get 3 packs if you did the dailies everyday. That has the value of a fast food burger. Why not go do some yard work for someone and buy yourself a mammoth bundle.

there are ppl out who cant work, becouse of mental or physical issue
B2t : since im the unluckiest person in the world, i wouldnt even win, if the chance is 99/100
i dont think anyone has won the packs. blizzard will be late like usual. They will probably say that : oh its because of timezones and thats why you havent gotten anything yet...i personally think this is just a big scam to make new people join hearthstone. The prizes will go to some streamers in brazil or sth.
Anyways, whether scam or not, i think its not worth debating about this topic since i know admins here dont like it when you talk bad about hearthstone . thats a no no, so im out
Yeah no.
Contest laws in America are srs business. Everyone who entered has an equal chance to win, if they don't that's basically an autowin lawsuit right there
But if you're competing against 5 million other people, your odds of winning are about what they'd be to win the actual lottery.
suuure dude, welcome to real world
It would not be worth it for blizzard to rig the contest. The amount of trouble they would get in for rigging it would far outweigh them getting anything from giving it to anyone in particular.
I don’t think Blizzard rigged it, but quick Devil’s advocate here...
McDonald’s employees rigged the Monopoly game grand prize winners for the first few years. Penalty money was nothing compared to the sales bump they received from the promotion.
I have a question and yes, I didn't bother to read all the rules.
So my question is - just as every month Blizzard announces the standard and wild leaderboards and lists the users by their in-game nicknames, will the devs to the same thing regarding the pack contest? Just like with the leaderboards the devs can name the users by skipping their battletags, but is this information only confidential or can it be published on their main web-site?
Don't want so sound like an asshole, but people who are mentally unable to work don't usually play hearthstone, or at least not that competitive that it would make a difference giving them a Tier 1 or Basic Card Deck.
I personally think that it's probably the opposite.
The most common reason people will be signed off as being mentally unable to attend work would be stress/anxiety/depression.
Games such as Hearthstone would be ideal as it's fun, easy to learn and doesn't require huge time slots or a massive attention span. It also gives short boosts of feeling good when you win a match.

Thats fair, but it would have cost McDonalds something to give out grandprize. Blizzard basically only loses income from one player, who may not have been giving them much anyway...

Actually what happened with the McDonald's thing they payed out the prize. Just the company that they hired to run the game had some high level people rig it so they set up a friend or family member to win and then split the prize after the payout. Sort of a big news story when it broke but McDonald's buried that story with all their might because the Monopoly game promotion is absolutely huge for them.
Also on your point I think the quest promotion probably didn't generate much more income for Blizzard beyond good publicity and trying to get people back in during the lull period between expansions. It's not the giant money maker like Monopoly so cheating the system would be really bad for them in both publicity and not worth it monetarily for the penalties.

What a useless post.... not that this one is much better XD
I understand you, just saying that is a possible way to get the list, because they didn´t say they will post the winners list but they will be contacted by email, also they didn´t pick the winners yet, but soon, not blizzard soon but real soon as posted in reddit

Sure it’s fun! Great fun!
If you’re no longer finding it fun, I’d suggest you close down the game for a day or two and step outside ... the graphics are just as good!
Legitimately curious. Did anyone on Hpwn win 3000 packs, or one of the smaller prizes? I know for a fact I did not.
How do you know for a fact you did not? The event ended 6 days ago, they said they would notify winners within 7 days. Could be they are waiting to the last moment to notify everyone.
Besides that, people who do not respond to their winning instructions in time will forgo their prize and they will choose another winner to take their space. I don't remember how much time it said people would have to claim their prize, but there will potentially be winners who don't know they won until someone else forgoes their prize.
if any of the winners was from Asia, then they would have already won by now since for them (i think, correct me if im wrong) the counter of 7 days ended. So either there are no winners from Asia, or Blizzard is being late as usual, hmm which one could be

I just it doesn't go to some newbie, like someone who doesn't go to forums, look up meta, and quits because they are bad...
I exist, I think.
