Im going to guess that before they hand over a prize worth close to $5000, they are going to get a little more information from you. I would assume the winner isn't just going to log in and have 3000 packs sitting there for them.

Wait so you mean that you can get more then one entry per day by mailing to...? If so I have done all of my hard work and more for nothing... hate this!
No, you are still limited to one entry per day. The postcard method is simply an alternative way of getting your entry for that day.
i do not understand the taxes. Isn't blizzard by giving you the free packs technically paying for the packs themselves? why are we therefore being taxed. this system is messed up. i hope i never win a car or anything expensive as i would have to sell the vehicle just to pay the taxes from winning it. pretty corrupt if you ask me.

The packs have a monetary value and are potentially considered income. The same thing happens with winning a car on a game show. They actually had to stop giving us free drinks at work because they could be considered income when aggregated together.

"Why are we being taxed?" It's called the Government and they have their grubby little big hands on everything.
"...sell the vehicle..." Yep. Years ago I had a relative win a car on the Price is Right. She had to sell the car to pay for the taxes. LOL.
no. you are only eligible to complete one quest per day for an entry, and are only eligible to get one entry per day. i am assuming blizzarad did this on purpose as lots of people just hoard their quests cancelling htem until they get 80+g ones.
WoW ! Blizzard is Actually Giving Away Something ! Its Great Guys n Gals ! As a matter of fact, keep these lotteries coming, they are fair and makes someone really happy!
.....and what do we do...turn it into a US Tax discussion. " Enlightening "
so what, you are talking about one of the greediest companies i have seen
Activision Blizzard is a private for-profit corporation. I don't know how you compare levels of 'greedy' amongst entities that fundamentally exist to make money.

you can compare everything in this reality. and yes level of greedy is a real thing and people are not happy with greddiest companies. Lootboxes arent the best thing to appreciate the players. EA is trashed by its own followers, Blizzard is in a safe spot but not far away from that. And Activision is not safe at all, people dont forget they paid their sweat money for a lie game. people get pissed and show it, especially fans
It has been a week since the event finished so, according the rules, they should have decided the winners. Any news? I cannot wait to pay my taxes!! ;)
Unfortunately, if you read the rules, it states that the prize winners would be informed within 7 days of the selection of the winners. We don't know that the winners were selected on the 14th or later...
Yeah, there are multiple posts on reddit that seem to confirm that the prizes were sent out. However, I've only seen people claiming they got 3 packs, not a single person said anything about 30 packs, so maybe not all prizes were distributed yet ;)
If it takes them a week to hand out 3 packs, how long does it take them to hand out 3000? Wondering sometimes if they haven't even handed out the 30 or 3000.
It got swept under the rug way too fast and no one has said anything. Whole thing reeks of either a scam, or they botched it.
