Four mech hunters and a cyclone/giants/pocket galaxy mage deck today whilst completing my daily. Stood absolutely no chance with my modified dragon warrior deck (designed to counter these decks but drew no board clears and got done in by turn 7 or 8).
If I left my tablet on and rolled these decks - I reckon I could win by rubbing my balls against the screen. Maybe that’s what these jackoffs do when they play these decks.
Many years ago, I thought that the emote were a good idea. Now, they just trigger me. So, yes, you top decked the right lethal or a great taunt. Nice one wanker. Why emote spam like a inebbriarte and think MADZ SKILLZ"
Not a single dragon this expansion. Also, why that Zephrys costs 2 mana?! I would like to play both, him and Keleseth. Expansions are worse and worse this year...
Start of season in Wild, shamman, shamman, shamman, big priest, big priest. Ok, thanks for playing only retarded decks and not trying anything remotely fun to play against.
EDIT: I swear, Three big priests in a row, three losses. Ok I switch deck. No Priest. This is not rigged obviously.
New season - same shit different day. Four mech warriors in a row playing carbon copy decks.
Fortunately I had prepared for such an outcome by rolling a dragon warrior deck with azalina soulthief and Elysiana (and as much armour as I could reasonably fit in).
Use Elysiana slightly early (a couple cards before you start burning). Then use soulthief before they draw their last card. I can just imagine their horror when the autoplay bubble bursts and they realise they can’t win after 40minutes of play.
I swaer I get like 80% winrate until rank 5 , then I get countered every time I get to rank 4. This grind is ridiculous and it feels fucking unfair. Like suddenly I don't see my key cards after a winstreak. Then when back at 5 oh! Here they are. Must be just biased due to tilt but fuuuuuuuuck.
Probably not biased, I've had occasions where my win-rate was around 80% even after rank 5, but it's usually around 60% after rank 5 and depends a lot on what you face. Even at 60% it takes a relatively long time to reach Legend, which is kinda disappointing IMO since people play the same cancer even in Legend.
I am jealous and angry. Why.. People (I guess mostly streamers) getting early access to play new expansions..
Because it spreads awareness. The more people watching a streamer on twitch meaning a bigger audience will come and see how the expansion plays out.
You may notice the streamers getting "pre-order codes/links" it's a marketing tactic to get more people to buy the expansion because it "helps" their favorite streamer. All for the money really.
Deck doesn't matter. Meta doesn't matter. There is no skill. You don't play this game anymore - you watch it.
So they manipulate RNG for the top players on purpose so they win a lot on ladder, to give an illusion that there is skill in this game?
Have you ever watched any of those streams? You think that consistently drawing a one-outer is skill? Watch Kripp draft an arena deck. I would kill to play the cards that he DOESN'T choose. Regular players never get offer card quality like that. To answer your question - no I don't think that anyone with even a basic understanding of probability would think that there is skill involved in this game anymore. There used to be. I have all gold heroes and have been playing since the beginning so I can remember when thought and strategy were actually a part of the game. Sadly veteran players stopped spending real money and new players felt that the game was too difficult to start playing with so many people having established card collections. The only way Blizzard could think of to attract and keep new players was to dumb the game down. So now all you need to do is copy a net deck (popularized by their "pro" streamers) and the game runs on autopilot. Blizzard doesn't care how the veteran players feel about this as they stopped spending real money a while ago. Now they cater to the new players with the attention spans of goldfish with perfect draws, one sided matchups, and RNG effects that hit remarkably perfect every time. I win just as many mindless games as I lose so I am not saying that the game is rigged against me. It is rigged against all of us to achieve the stated goal of a 50% win rate.

The awareness would also happen, when the expansion launches. I can't see why streamers can't do give-aways while streamers the current expansion..
Some people are not entirely sold on expansions. If their favorite streamer says it's "good" then they will probably be influenced to get the pre-orders.
People are not going to entirely trust a dev to say the expansion is good, however when a guy with influence like Kibler, for example, says good things about the expansion then his audience is more likely to buy the pre-orders.
Also the streamer do giveaways for the expansions. I seen Kibler do one for rise of shadow as well before it released.
Btw, the pre-release is happening today as well so if you can find a nearby event or even host your own, then you can play it early as well.

What makes me angry is that streamers influence the meta big time and right now 15k+ people are watching, which means that the decks, which proves to do well will be played massively at launch and those that might have looked good on paper gets dumped. I think this early access and fireside gatherings shortens the period before we have a low amount of decks, that everyone plays.

Everyone complains about facing the same net decks but have you tried playing an original deck? You may win a few games but once the system catches on you will not-so-surprisingly start getting terrible RNG and matched against decks that are perfect counters. You are no longer allowed to be creative in Hearthstone.
Sure do. The new Zephyrs card is pretty much proof that the game can and will give you the cards you need (or don't need) based on your win ratio. As in the pre-decided decision whether you get to 'win' or not. Rigged af and amazing this is even legal sometimes .

Americas: Druid, Mage, Paladin Shaman (4/9)
Everywhere else: Workin on it.. (0/9)
Not a single dragon this expansion. Also, why that Zephrys costs 2 mana?! I would like to play both, him and Keleseth. Expansions are worse and worse this year...

All big priest players deserve to die in real life.

Do you seriously think they manipulate who is matched based on decks and then make you draw bad cards in game?
