Well if I do play sunkeeper Tarim rather than I have to hold him then I win quite often, and I rarely have to face him on opposite side... my deck is such that it is often my side that benefits most from Tarim... lol
You mean how many games have I won with Sunkeeper Tarim... (nudge nudge wink wink)

I have a special sun keeper tarim counter to count the games I lose against him. Oh wait...
So do I! It's called "Board Control"!
What's even better, is it turns out this isn't even a class-sepcific counter either! Woohoo!
The only way Sunkeeper Tarim should cause you any problem is if you let the opponent build up a board full of weenie minions and you mistakenly think "Well that's not going to hurt much,... Bwaaahahahaa... oh....!"
Paladin was a completely lost and awful class for the first year of standard. This card made Paladin playable, but not great, and Call to Arms made it top tier.
It's a super strong card, luckily there is a super easy way to play around him by controlling the board!

Well ... he is a big part of the deck(s) he is in. He can be a win condition, or a way to stabilize. He also can dictate the tempo of the game. You don't want to flood the board before T6, and you don't want to let your opponent flood their board before T6. *this was a little easier before Call to Arms*.
Try to keep Dustbreakers and Hellfires in hand until Tarim plays. Try to keep their board clear of dude's leading up to T6, and / or try to match them minion for minion. Typical thinking can sometimes make get you caught. "I have a decent taunt on board, and all he has are some little dudes, so Im safe to go face .... wrong!
But yeah ... he's a tough card that is a staple in Paladin decks, so 30-50 wouldn't be out of the question.
He's also pretty easy to get ... if your opponent has played a Stonehill Defender, chances are good they have him in hand.
You can sometimes "check" for him a little by putting some value trades on the board. If they start ignoring your minions, he is definitely in there.

if you have a massive board lead, then yes. But nowadays all Pala's play these 1/1s that get buffed. If you play big minions you will lose against him. If you play aggro it's kind of a card draw thing. but you need 3 minions to kill him and that makes him a little OP imo

80% of my matches lost again a paladin are him flooding the board with call to arms or stand against darkness and the tarim in turn 6, if i manage to control the board against all the multiples flood mechanics before turn 6 is the only way I stand a chance against retardin
I lost like 30 games because of him out of 50 games against paladin.
Now you!

It is a strong card, but you know they have it. Govern yourself accordingly and prioritize tempo over value.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
that card is an insta win

It's basically one of a few cards Paladin has that's really, really good.
We'd be screwed without it.
Really?? Now a thread to bitch about THIS card? Goodness, people.

I don't know but I've probably won more games because of him (playing him) then I've lost against him.
