Hi there, I am a f2p in Hearthstone and I have now been playing since a few weeks before un goro released. I now have around 17 collectable legendary minions. And I saw that I only miss a few cards to complete my cubelock deck, those being Taldaraam and Umbra. But I am running low on dust atm, so I was looking if any of my legendaries could be sacrificed to craft those cards. a few legendaries I have are total meme cards like yogg, benedictus and rotface, and some meh ones like the warrior and hunter deathknights but I have had so much fun with them and maybe they will be meta some day so is it wise to dust them or not?
Don't ask us; ask yourself. What do you find entertaining in this game? Some people like climbing with OP decks. Some people like off meta decks for different reasons. What kind of player are you?
I've been playing quite a bit of cubelock with both Umbra and Prince 3 lately and I'd say the deck can still perform without them. They can improve your swing turns, but in many cases they're win-more cards at best. Often, you'll want to start comboing before turn ten, which means there's not enough mana to fit umbra and cube in the same turn, leaving umbra kind of dead in your hand. Playing Umbra on 4 and hoping it sticks very rarely works out, so in that case you'd probably rather have a better statline for the turn.
Try the deck with replacements for these two, and if you still think you need the cards, I'd recommend you begin by disenchanting some of the meme cards you don't think you'll want to play around with and crafting taldaram.
I really wouldn't craft Umbra and Prince 3 if I were you. Faceless manipulator is good enough. Don't invest on legendaries that only useful for one deck. You don't need to follow meta decks to the T.
Absolutely keep the DKs. Especially if you enjoy them.
You can disenchant meme cards, if you are sure you are not buying any more of their set packs.
On a side note: recent VS report places Cubelock as t3. The deck is powerful, but not invulnerable to meta shifts.
Now, while Umbra is viable in any deathrattle slow deck, Taldaram is VERY situational and bound to a condition. Also Faceless Manipulator exists. It costs (5) instead than (3), but it is epic, conditionless, and Classic. Crafting Taldaram for a current t3, while being short of resources, would be unwise.
I kept Temporus since he was my first legendary from this expansion. No regrets!
Especially after seeing how strong he turned out to be! Heh! It's funny - the naysayers who were claiming it was a terrible card are strangely quiet now... :-P

Keep what are you having fun with, dust those you do not use and are rotating soon.
