Two years ago I would go purchase Classic packs, but honestly, the Classic cards haven't aged very well (except for some class cards like Preparation, but that's mostly thanks to Mimic Pod tbh.
Just look at the fucking epics they printed this set. Where's the niche wacky gimmick stuff? They outright printed obviously busted cards and put them to the epic slot. It's insane.
Totally agree, I already spotted this Blizz's new pack selling strategy when most of the KaC cards were revealed: epics were heavily emphasized.

Some of them might not be completely busted but they are just pretty good on their own and they don't have any interesting effects that fill into only some niche deck. Just some generally all around good cards.
I'm tempted to craft another Corridor Creeper but I'm going to hold out. Have 470 gold already since my initial post.
Apart from weird combo-control decks (which a free player will not be able to afford anyway), there is no deck in Hearthstone that isn't improved by the inclusion of 2x Corridor Creeper. You might as well craft those the moment you have enough dust. Unless they get nerfed, you will always be glad to have them.

You must have read my mind! I did actually craft Corridor Creeper and another Spiteful Summoner for my Dragon Priest. Had one of each of these already, thankfully.
As cancerous as it is to say, you could focus on a deck like Cubelock which is immune to the rotation. While the decks are expensive, there are lists that cut out some of the legendaries like Umbra. In fact, Cubelock is probably a great example of a deck with a solid core (possessed lackey, voidlords, dreadlords, and cube) and the legendaries are just icing on the cake that improve your winrate but aren't required (although Bloodreaver Gul'Dan is wonderful for the emotes alone).
If your card collection isn't great and you'd be farming for hours every day trying to hit 30 wins, why not pick up a part-time job?

True, when I saw the Warlock cards, I knew they'd be strong even after the next rotation.
I already have a full time job and am a parent of two, can't get a second job. I don't mind the farming, I really do enjoy it and am getting considerable gold saved.
I start to do this because K&C was the worse expansion for packs to me. :( 100 packs and get only 3 legendarys, the shaman one as free weapon and a disgusting number of "40 dust" packs I never see before. I miss 2 DK's from KFT (hunter and warrior), maybe I craft them if next expansion my packs don't sucks so bad like K&C.
I don't think you need to craft those two DK's. At least wait until expansion. I had similar bad luck with legendaries for K&C. I unpacked Temporus and King Togwaggle. I refuse to dust them because maybe they'll make good memes or perhaps get better. I've dusted things I later regretted.
I did get a Zola the Gorgon which I'll try to fit where I can
This is the point to start saving for casuals: that is the folks who don't get many 10g win quests done. So if you're chugging down on 100g at a time not counting hte quest you are WAYYYYY early.
OTOH, if you already matched this criteria:
1. got over 60 packs in K&C
2. Hit your next legendary
3. Hit at or close to your next epic
Then it's time to move on anyway. Perhaps make sure you did the same for the other sets, but otherwise it's time to start saving up. Gotta admit, 14k for the rotation expansion sounds like a very sweet spot.

I craft Zola and she fit in 2 decks, tempo rogue (Keleseth) and Highlander mage (Kazakus), other than that is hard to justify the slot.

I'm trying her out with a deck focused on Fal'dorei Strider. Going to maybe add a Shadowstep to flood the deck. Of course I'm rolling Shadowcaster in there as well. Just fun stuff, probably not competitive.
Already saving here too. As i hate playing Arena it seems the obvious choice for me..
I don't know what it is about Arena, I never get the OP cards everyone else seems to get to select from. I might try it after the expansion to get any cards I'm still missing. Seems I'm just doing quests in Casual, because I don't have Warlock. FeelsBadMan

I got one more K&C legendary I’m waiting to open (pity timer is getting close) and then I’m in save mode myself.
Hopefully not Temporus like I got.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
I would make getting most of the Death Knights a priority. They are very versatile and are included in a lot of decks.
