I'm plowing through opponents with N'zoth Hunter and I think it's because no one between rank 15 and 10 knows how to play decks other than jade druid and pirate warrior, because my opponents haven't really done anything and they're using actual decks. One Raza priest played six cards on his turn but voidformed once (He'd already played Raza)
I play wild F2P and I am not druid or pirate warrior main. I got to rank 5 on my 2 accounts before the nerfs (which barely hurt my main decks). Now I cannot get off of the floor of rank 5 post nerfs. It is excruciating - pay to win decks like big priest are stomping me when i play machinegun priest or mid pally. new aggro gets me when I play demon renolock. Even my new aggro decks are getting crushed by priests and highroll decks (which i am hoping I can chalk up to luck).
Harsh meta for me so far. I would like to find a new budget (doesn't have to be that cheap my collections are pretty good) or midrange deck that can rise at rank 5.
Which decks are really dominating wild? Seems like token druid still and either big priest or giants hunter but those seem to highrolly for BOTH to be top decks. I am really confounded why DK demon renolock isn't working better (except against machinegun priest and midrange/slow aggro )
Another thing to add is the use of Hunter. Hunter has been comming back up recently. Oddly enough BEFORE the patch, which ruined many of their counters and left them alone. on top of that, midrange decks feast pretty well on unstable control decks, which many people run (either an unrefined deck or a good deck run inefficiently). The result is that it's a good day to be a Hunter.
Anyone who's quick on the uptake integrating game update changes into their play is going to get an inflated winrate whenever changes go through. Some of us aren't actually any better than other players, we just learn certain stuff faster, so we win extra for a while when there's a big shakeup. This happened to me all the time in League of Legends when a new character no one else seemed to know how to fight or play properly came out. =P

That's a sign that you're an early adopter, which is a very powerful skill in card games which change rather often. Being able to pick up on trends before others do lets you take advantage of them while others are still off. The recent set of HTC tournaments were heavily dominated by folks who picked up on the meta and what to do with it faster than others.
For statistics purposes though it's good to remember that the meta will lag behind you. Which does help since you can get an idea of whether the meta is stable or still has shakeups left to go.
Especially useful given that we're seeing some metas that get solved in 2 weeks and others that go on for over 3 months before finally settling.

Oh yeah, trust me I've been constantly saying the meta hasn't settled yet -- or we can't know it has yet anyway -- on these forums. xD

Come over to rank 2 so u can get frustrated along with me xD
Easy for whom? It's a zero sum game, there's not room for everyone to find it easy.
So ladder is easy on ranks 15 and 10,especially now that we are at the end of the season...Please tell me more XD
If it is, then keep on climbing until it isn't anymore.
Fuck cubelock
LUL, next time, try to humble brag about better stuff than destroying rank 12ers, okay, op?
When the weak court death, they find it.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
