No, it's not, it's good vs Priest though. It still falls behind fairly easily and doesn't have great catchup cards. The sole reason it's become a thing ATM is because a fair few pro players are playing a lot of it. If they would have chosen discard warlock after the patch then this post would be about that.
Shaman counters Hunters pretty hard, so there's been a lot more Shamans too.
Yeah pretty much Aggro Shaman is there to beat Pirate Warriors and Faster Hunter decks. But whenever I seem to play Shaman I just queue into a Priest and get slaughtered. Hunter is still good though. Fairly quick climbing speeds on most ladders. Went from 25-5 on Standard ladder with Beasty'zoth by Sparkaz in about 3 hours with a 23-3 win streak.

I'm slowly playing on r3-r2 at moment and there are damn a lot of hunters. I have even crafted Jaina to deal with that bichz on control mage, bad sadly control mage has nearly zero winrate against razakus. Feelsbadman(

I'm kinda wondering if every shaman put in lightning storm now for board clear even in evolve shaman decks. Because the regular list does not run them but every Shaman I went against so far had lightning storm, some had Hex, some even put in volcano now to counter Bittertides.
However, do note that this is an average from rank 25 all the way to legend, and does not necessarily represent the power level of hunter in high ranks. If you want to look on specific rank winrates, you will have to purchase premium membership (I know I won't).
Midrange Hunter is still one of the cheapest decks to build. having almost never any epics, and usually only having the DK as its sole legendary, thus it may be a very popular deck amongst budget players.
Whenever i play reno priest I rarely have trouble with hunter. Ive also heard it is a 50/50 match up. Hunter is also still worse than other aggro decks. I do not think this hunter trend will last.
I only play hunter as thats all the cards I have, the only epic i use is hungry crab since i dont have DK rexxar ora nything. I've yet to lose to a rogue, you must be getting supremely lucky every game
I'd put them at the top of tier 2 at the moment. I think Hunter is in a pretty good spot right now because it can punish Mages, Rogues and Jade Druids. Priest is about 50/50. It's a strong deck, but also potentially really easy to beat once the meta adapts.
Hunter could fall off very quickly, but for now, I think it's pretty strong.
95% my games today were Priests and Hunters and like 2 evolve Shamans. Think I'm taking a break from playing this game seriously. Every game is almost the same, every deck of these classes are near identical.
Yea.. play lots of Hunter.. because my Control Paladin can easily beat down all these Hunters. at least Control Paladin has a spot to shine for this meta.

Call me crazy but..
There are so many hunters right now in ranked standard and I feel like it performs pretty damn well.
Is hunter tier 1 or I'm the only one who thinks this is possible?
Thanks!
Tier 3 :)
Idk if hunter's T1, but it's pretty good for laddering. Quick games, cheap decks. Even Savjz used it for climbing this season.

Well, last 5 games vs hunters, don't complain but where the "NOOOO!!! Prieststone meta" so many people fear about?

Their are a lot of Hunters, because it is the start of a meta shift(Sort of) and people want to test it.
Hunter is still a trash 1 dimensional class, as long as you know the match up its relatively easy.
Hunter is strong vs Priest and we see tons of Priest ... so ofc more Hunter will show up
Hunter is a cool class, so that's why at the start of every new meta people try to make it work .
Imo hunter match up is pretty good for the other aggro decks like Shaman or Rogue, because they have better tools to control board .
Where Hunter shines is vs slow classes like Druid and Warlock .
Priest match up is not even good for hunter I think , if priest has the right techs and plays well .

Hunter winrate is very high atm according to https://hsreplay.net/.

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

Hunter is the only class I play since i dont hae cards for any other deck. I dont have any legendaries and only have an epic hungry crab
have yet to drop below 80% against rogues, some of you rogues must be getting supremely lucky.

Hunter was never bad, It's had a decent midrange deck ever since MSG (and i've been laddering it to 5 quite consistently over the months)
Rat Pack + Houndmaster is strong second breath early game after stuff like Alleycat , add a hyena to the mix and there's big trouble brewing.
Question everything.
