if we wanted to play against 100% priest opponents we would get barely 55% with a deck that specificaly counters them... rly annoying... and of course we dont get 100% priests, so we cannot focus everything to counter them...
I'm at your same spot rank 10 as I haven't played too super much this month and I'm seeing NOTHING but Huntards. Today I've played only 1 priest out of about 12 games and he was Big. So no I'm not seeing a boat load of them at the same rank.
You DO though have to try to burn them down. If they get Anduin out it's usually game over.
Priest has far too many answers and is not punished at all for playing 1 copy of each card in the deck. Yeah, you can beat it with aggro if you're lucky I guess. That's not really balanced though, is it?
imho the meta is fine now.... priest is not OP at all it can be rushed down easily. aggro decks now rised in popularity again and hunter is popular. druids now play doomsayer in a hopeless try to hold off aggro and midrange. meta is really healthy right now
GUYS CAN'T YOU SEE THAT WE ARE LOSING SO MANY CARDS BECAUSE OF THOSE COMMENTS. The patron warior is dead because of these comments, blade flurry is death, innervate-such a cool design- turned into coin , can't you just understand when you are whining about a card or a deck YOU ARE PROBABLY MAKING IT DISAPPEAR FOR GOOD. Just play the game i don't want to lose other cards like ancient of war, 3 mana 4/2 charger with mana thing, lepper gnome and call of the wild
AND UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY DECK HAS A DIFFICULTY IN A WAY
NO DECK HAS EVER BEEN AN AUTOPILOT DECK SO CUT THE C***
The drawback to highlander decks is consistency but a lot of other popular decks have this problem too. Tempo rogue functions in the same way but with keleseth and quest mage with glyph. Firebat has a video talking about decks like this but i cant link it right now because im on mobile.
If it's on top lets complain until it gets nerfed. Then the next deck that rises to the top lets complain until it gets nerfed. Rinse and repeat. Hearthstone players are too predictable at this point.
Spoiler: It doesn't matter what they nerf. You will always play those tier 1 decks.
what sea giant shaman was actually auto pilot. the deck actually had the same win rate with a bot and an actual player. innervate isnt a cool design and should have been nerfed a long time ago. arcane golem was very very bad for the meta game, lepper gnome was the best aggressive minion in the game, call of the wild died because it went from the best late game for hunter to they printed the DK for hunter which is just better, blade flurry lead to a deck that won from no board with very high consistency while also being a board clear against aggro decks. also grim patron didnt die. even after the nerfs the deck still say a lot of play and was one of the top tier decks until the rotations. if you are going to say something stupid at least be informed and understand why nerfs happen. all the nerfs you called about are understandable. the war nerf also bad a lot of sense if they arent nerfing innervate at the time as it was the reason that at the time druid was the best deck. dont forget druid was the best deck at that time and it was worse than it was pre nerfs.
I'm a fairly new player(going on almost a month now) who decided to go full Warlock based on the sheer amount of useful cards I received from beginner quest rewards. Yes, I knew it wasn't really the best class to pick in the current meta- that made me want to master it even more.
So, keep that in mind with what I'm about to say, as I'm sure most of you know far more about the game than I do, but: Based on my own personal experience as a Control Warlock, I 100% agree with the OP. I'm currently sitting between rank 15-17, and the number one reason I can't get past 15 is the sheer amount of Priests that I face. I'd say that literally 75% of all ranked matches I've played were vs. Priests, and literally the only time I ever beat them is when they make a huge mistake or I get incredibly lucky.
It seems that no matter how perfectly I play my hand, no matter how low I get them while maintaining high health and board control(I'm serious, they can be under 8 health and I can be sitting at 30 with a +5 shield and it still doesn't matter), they still have an answer that allows them to come back and utterly destroy me in a few turns. That's if they don't just get decent cards early on and therefore control the board with spells that counter pretty much everything that I do(or don't do). It seems like every single Priest I face is just using the same old deck(which is pretty lame). BTW, I'd love to just play something that "counters them" but uh, I don't really have that option just yet.
It seems odd that I can actually defeat Jade Druids, Quest Mages, and others that supposedly counter my class but pit me against a Priest and it's basically an auto-loss. Actually my win-rate is pretty damn high against well, every other class but Priest. By the way, the guy I watch on YouTube was rank 4 like 4 days ago and now he's rank 10. He didn't say why, but he recently put out a video where he's facing Priests over and over again and losing in the late game. Coincidence?
Also, and I'm not talking sh*t or anything but it's obvious that there's a TON of Priest die-hards all over this thread.
If you nerfed Priest, then you would also have to mega-nerf both Jade Druid and keleseth Rogue, which are both much stronger than the priest deck currently. (Hence why every noob and his gran are playing DroodFest2017 right now)
Priest is a good deck, but by no means is it too strong at present - not in the same way decks like Pirate Warrior and Jade and Face Hunter were (in their hey-days)

I could make anything in hearthstone a "problem" if I only go like "I BELIEVE THIS, FUCK STATISTICS"

Just play any tempo deck, aka Kaleseth bonemare to destroy priest in the long run.
I will crush you!
