Damn, can the HS community just take a moment to just play the game for a little while before going on tirades to have something else nerfed?
Cancer OP Pirate warrior nerf? Nerfed. Play the game now? Nah, Cancer OP Jade Druid nerf? Sort of but not really that nerfed? Play the game now? Nah, Cancer OP Razakus Priest nerf?
Just face it, there will always be a Lich Kin... I mean, there will always be powerful decks regardless of how many times you nerf something. You can't prevent a deck from being more optimal than the other stuff because decks are never equal in power level. Just play the game.
We'll probably have to wait for the next expansion before we seeing variants of balance changes. On a design and cost perspective, it would be counterproductive for Blizzard to conduct several balance changes over a short period of time. As with the game genre, the community should have time to optimize and stabilize the meta. One advantage Razakus has right now is that it's a highly optimized deck, having gone against several different match-ups in the past. I'd imagine time and an active community may result in new decks or refinement of current ones, where a shift of the meta may arrive. Or in the flipside, you maybe right that Razakus is OP, but it'd be preferable for the game in the long run that Blizzard focus on the next expansion rather than fine-tuning the current one. That's where the community comes in, to find statistically obsessively unbalanced matches that would be detrimental to the large active playerbase.
I played both against this deck and this deck and the only problem is the 2 damage HP costing 0. Make the DK ability "Deal 2 damage, after playing a spell refresh it and make it cost 2" would make the deck OK.
I don't care if it's considered "overpowered" or not. In Wild, 35% of my games today were against Priest. Never, ever, ever, should a single class be that much of the meta. It is a problem. And before anyone comes at me with "small sample size blah blah blah," I'll look at other time periods.
This whole season, Priest was 21%, the next highest being Druid at 14%.
Since the nerf happened, Priest was 27% of games. Druid at 6% and Warrior nowhere to be seen.
So congratulations Blizzard, you pushed out two classes that weren't even the biggest offenders and made the biggest one even worse. (And yes, I am aware Druid nerfs were necessary for Standard, I'm not saying they shouldn't have been done)
I shouldn't waste my efforts though, since I know Blizzard cares fuck all about Wild anyway.

Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
there is a 2/5 minion called Mindbreaker that unable the hero power, if u make that minion with 4 attack with Spikeridged Steed for example, after burning his 1 mana cost spells with Skulking Geist you won the game.
it's a good tech i'm sure but that is three cards counter by paladin only
I shouldn't waste my efforts though, since I know Blizzard cares fuck all about Wild anyway.
1. You do care.
2. If Blizzard doesn't care about what your saying and you felt that you shouldn't have wasted the effort, exactly WTF are you blabbin' about then? What are you trying to say man?!
Whoever voted ''no'' here is either a Priest player or trolling. Razakus has a good matchup against everything (and I mean it) in the meta except Quest Mage. The deck has answers to everything: Aggro, Midrange, other Control decks, starvation in Africa and the situation between North Korea and USA. Multiple cards in that deck need a nerf, not Fiery War Axe or Hex lmao.
Wrong.
North Korea is still over there and we are still over here. And WTF do you know about starvation in Africa? What priest cannot fix however, is how bitchy you sound.
Raza Priest leaves quite an impression when it wins, it might look like the class is OP, but most of the time I played against the deck, it fizzles. It's a difficult deck to play so I don't know how much of the failure is in the player and how much is in the deck.
I have way more problems against mage than I will ever have against priest, quite a few powerful Priest cards rotate in gadgetzan and things are loonking worse for the class, which is not that much of asurprise.
Most of the conversation is about standard it seems but from my experience in wild I match up with preist for the majority of my games under rank 10. They are very strong and very popular. I wouldnt say it is OP, unless OP is your idea of the strongest deck at the moment. It certainly was not op before the nerfs but I can see priest dominating for a long time to come.
priest was slightly above 50% b4 the patch. now priest is slightly below 50%. Not to mention that now you no longer have to excessively tech against jade druids, giving you room for tech cards that work well against priests, such as Dirty Rat.
Ive beaten (outlasted) 3 Razakus Priests today with a Dragobuffadin. I'll post it below for anyone who wants to try it out. Here is gameplay of one of the games: https://hsreplay.net/replay/bFUuAFqdokd7PRiNXxMbYg
Control Paladin, Miracle Rogue, Dragon Priest, Tempo and Exodia mage all beat Razakus Priest. That's quite many counters to a deck that's supposedly OP...
A slightly greedier hunter deck seems to be working for me. Good vs jade druid and priest. Bearshark works wonders against both of those and the rise in secret mages which can be really easy if you can play around secrets properly and have bow or enough board control to deal with wryms early. Shaman sucks, but if they don't have maelstrom portal or jade claws on 2 you can get a strong early advantage.
Nobody appears to remember CotW is still a card that can turn a few crappy tokens into a lot of damage that isn't always easy to deal with

What a stupid argument. Every deck will beat you if they draw better than you. Because RNGstone is what it is. Dats all.
If you really, really hate Priest try this list! | Deck List

Lol how is it OP when you can easily beat it with Midrange Hunter. The deck lacks heal for the most part as well and is very draw dependent.
