I had fun, but I also very much like the deck. The deck struggles with the lack of easy and efficient value cards like you have in other lategame decks (drakonid, shadow visions, jade idol), this is somewhat remedied by the inclusion of dead man's hand - sadly, the one nemesis of control decks, jade druid, is now stronger than ever and completely crushing the meta... so CW will struggle to be competitive.
On the plus side, skulking geist is often better against druid for CW than most other classes... because we can clear most of the other jades, and we don't need to flood the board to beat them... and if they try to abuse that by flooding us, we clear very cheaply. Sadly geist hurts you a lot in other matchups by removing your shieldslams (and if you think about not using them, you're much better off with a tempo build than a control build).
It's still an exceptional deck against aggro... but even this has become harder due to the new druid 3-mana taunt and the rise of aggro pally (the hardest aggro matchup), and these days druid is, if not some big favorite, at least break even versus most aggro decks... so aggro decks can't cleanse the meta of your toughest (and most common) matchup.
Short story: CW is not in a good place to be competitive, but it's a nice deck to troll aggro druid and pirate warrior with. If it hadn't been for jade druid, I think it would been a very solid deck now.
DK Gul'Dan is really good right now as well, but very difficult to pilot. Overall it's way better than CW. High roll priest is seen as "better" because it's way easier to pilot, but less consistent. I'd say control warlock with Gul'Dan is the "best" control deck right now, but your mileage may vary because it is a tough deck to play. I'd probably consider priest, although less consistent, it's still very good, and takes a decent amount of skill to play.
I had a lot of success with my control warrior. Is was very strong against aggro and cards like Rotface and King Mosh were performing really well too. I don't think it's good enough to push to tier 1 but maybe tier 2, I'm not sure. One of their main weaknesses was always mid range hunter and look at the state of that.
I've been playing a sort of control warrior for basically the whole week and its by far the most fun deck I tried this expansion. Blood razor shenanigans are amazing. But it's not the old style cw, I feel like you need some 3/4/5 drops to get some tempo against druids or greedy decks. hitting with berserkers for like 20 dmg is always amazing, just like garrosh dk. But the winrate isn't that good, it's just fun.
It is a good deck for the long run, but not good currently due to the presence of jade druid. Teching in geist may help, but you have to avoid getting steamrolled after that by the rest of the jades.
Please take my advice on this one as I'm a professional at wasting my dust:
Watch people playing the deck you want for at least and hour maybe even two. If you're still into it then go ahead and craft it.
Also consider what your goal is. Do you want to win? Do you enjoy a certain archetype regardless of your win rate? These are all things to ask yourself.

want a nice control deck to climb to legend with besides jade druid , is control warrior the best option ?
If you want to play control I think Priest would be a better choice.
Control Warrior is stronger in Wild if you have cards like Justicar and Elise Starseeker.
I have played CW a lot over the last expansions.

everyone saying priest is the best control deck right now... what happened to jade druid?

I really don't know but few moments ago, P4wnyhof just reached legend with his tempo warrior and that deck was interesting.
