Playing Curious Glimmerroot and picking the card you actually want, not the card that is in your opponents deck..
I was playing against a friend once and I played Drakonid Operative and for reasons unbeknownst to me I thought it was Curious Glimmerroot so I picked the one I thought he was running and got it so I thought to myself "cool I don't have to play around those other two cards." He played one of the other two cards shortly thereafter and I realized how dumb I am.
Here's one that I've done to friends and had friends do to me. For the 80 gold friend quest one of us would concede and neither of us get gold... smh one of my friends has done this to me twice.
I mostly play on the phone (like right now under the table in a deposition lol), and I make misplays all the time when I'm distracted IRL. One of my classic moves is forgetting to hero power turn two after switching from priest to another class. The iPhone cards block the hero power, and it somehow also blocks my brain from a mage ping or whatnot. "Marvelous!" and move on.

Twelve Arena Wins - Shaman, Warlock, Mage x2, Rogue, Priest (12-0), Druid, Hallow's End x2, Hunter, Taverns of Time x3 (Pa,D,WL), Paladin
This isn't a personal misplay but a misplay of a friend. I was spectating his match as a warlock in arena and it was a close one. The opponent had 4 health, no board and a near empty hand while my friend was at 6, with a board and a decent hand. Thinking he had already won, he was like "watch this!" and started emptying his hand by doing all sorts of shenanigans like clearing his board and summoning minions in the wrong order until shadowbolt was left. Then "f...!" and he auto conceded. Apparently, he wanted to shadowbolt the opponent's face.

I always hero power with priest because you might end up with a Frost Giant in hand through some sort of priesty shenanaigans. Just heal something at full health. I'm not sure if you get experience when you heal for 0 but it's a good habit.

oh no. Misplaying while a friend watches is so awful. The shame compounds.
Playing a super greedy Shaman deck with Emperor Thaurissan to reduce the cost of my 1x Ancestral Spirit, 1x Reincarnate and/or Kel'Thuzad so I can play them all and have the dream board of 4x Kel. Pulled it off! Hit end turn and only then did I realize how stupid a play that is versus a warrior. You can probably guess how it goes from here . . .
You know he high rolled that Brawl. Kel always stays on the board with Ancestral Spirit against Warrior or Warlock now.
I am extremely guilty of this one. Twisting Nether is a card... As is Deathwing...

I've done this too, my friend wasn't lethal but I had no cards left in my hand nor deck and no minions on the field. How was I supposed to win?
You don't. You must lose slowly lol worth it for the 80g but in the moment it's easy to forget.
Ha! That's a bad feels. I've done coin/prep and I think Coin/Giant is worse but at least your opponent doesn't get to see the full measure of fail like they do with coin / prep.
I have set Counterspell or Mana Bind on turn 3, forgetting I went first so they have the coin. At least I have a gold Mana Bind smh
When I first began, I put Harvest Golem in a Warrior deck thinking that the "damaged Golem" literally counted as a damaged minion. I was hoping for an extra draw off Battle Rage.
Not a misplay exactly, however, sometimes I go back to wild, to play some Renolock. Everytime I make the deck, whatever the list is, I always make one mistake...
I always forget to add Reno Jackson himself. Every single time, I swear. Then, I realize it during the first game because I can't see it in my deck tracker.
Had a 3/1 Wild Pyromancer, a 3/1 Acidic Swamp Ooze and a 4/3 Ivory Knight. Opponent mage at 14 hp withIce Block up. I have a Blessed Champion in hand. I'm like "ALRIGHT LETS POP THIS BLOCK" and then I cast blessed champion on the ivory knight before actually attacking with the pyro and the ooze. immediately realised my mistake before the animation even played out and slapped myself in the face.

AH I do this so much lol even when I'm netdecking I'll just skip reno and land on 29/30 cards and be like WTF WTF. Sadly it usually takes me a minute to remember that it's ALWAYS reno I'm forgetting. Every. Time.

Just happened a few minutes ago: I played as a Reno Quest priest in wild; my opponent was a Midrange Hunter (I assume?), T6, he had Vicious Fleds out (one with 1HP left), 3 beasts with 1-2 HP and Savanna Highmane with 1 HP left; I used my Kazakus Potion (deal 3 DMG and 2DMG to all minions); but I didn't select the Vicious with 3HP and went face....realized it 1 turn later when I got bashed in from a 4/7 Beast with windfury and Kill Command to lose the game...
I'm sorry I'm like this.

Not a big one, but I do it every time. Low health on Warlock, play Reno Jackson, and then realise that I could've hero powered before Reno. 🤦♂️
I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.

I never make misplays, I lose only to lucky opponents and their insane rng.

misplay help you growth and evolve your 1drop in to doomsayer
Needed body on the board, played Kabal Songstealer on my existing Elise the Trailblazer.
Then i played Ysera Awakens instead of Un'Goro Pack.
Luckily i won anyway but that didn't help.
I'm sorry I'm like this.
After absolutely ages of not doing it, I randomly started forgetting about attacking with Patches (when he is summoned a few turns in)...
eSports here I come!
