Around the time of launch of un'goro there was a thread on hearthpwn which said that blizzard will give us free fight promoter. I haven't got it yet.

This was datamined information in Patch 8.0. Datamined information may not always be accurate, it could have simply been a test they were running for example and never removed the data.

But yes, things do currently point towards us getting a Fight Promoter at some point during "Free Card Day". Blizzard has still not made any announcements about it.
I'm pretty sure that was just volcansur. I don't think there is free card day.
