Coming from Magic, hearthstone's relatively small card pool makes deck design too simple. Most decks have an obvious blueprint. Wild's card pool and future releases make the card pool larger and open more doors for deck design and innovation. In short, standard will only be so big, why limit myself?
I've been playing wild since September, and it feels better than standard. Having strong control cards available to any deck definitely balances the game a bit, even if aggro is still good. Cards like deathlord, sludge belcher, and antique healbot make me happy. Cards like death's bite, ships cannon, and dr. Boom that make me a little sad. I'm not looking forward to seeing more secret pally at rotation, because all of those scrubs will come to wild. I am however, excited for the quests and how much easier all of them are activated once you get all the cards. Priest will be broken, shaman might be a murloc class, rogue may become a strong mill deck, and zoo might make a comeback. I see a lot of potential in this set, and it's effect on wild is much more exciting to me
I'll take my dragon priest over to Wild, just because of Azure Drake; in my opinion the 2nd best non-legendary card (I think Piloted Shredder is best non-legendary overall)...
...Because I have Golden Rag and Golden Dr. Boom, I feel kind of obligated. Also, I play Paladin (no, not Secret Paladin), so Muster for Battle and Shielded Minibot are must-haves. Not to mention Sludge Belcher and Antique Healbot (what was that, Patches?).
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
I actually play wild for Hobgoblin, KT and other niche fun build around cards that have only gotten better with the new sets. Can't wait for the new expansion, the new 1/2 elemental that adds a 1/2 is real good in hobo
Hearthstone is such a sweet game, wild is where it all shines for me! Love cards like KelThuzad, Deathlord, but the cards that are about to be introduced!! I think what makes Wild really fun is taking the new cards and having them interact with cards that standard will never get the chance to. Ahhh, I'm so happy, we never loose an archetype as long as the card doesn't get nurfed into the ground. Decks like Rouge Mill will only ever exist in wild and its reminds me of a museum or a tour through HS history books. Mech mage, Combo druid, Secret anyfin Paly, pirates, egg druid, concede shaman are just a few decks I've recently played against in Wild. I recently wrote my first guide on Concede Shaman, would love any feedback. Link: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/752039-tableflipper-wild-concede-shaman

I will stick to standard even more now, because Ragnaros the Firelord and Sylvanas Windrunner will finally be gone, which have been extremely oppressive in all those years. Of course its sad to leave some solid cards like Sludge Belcher and now Azure Drake behind, but it will make the game much better in the long run.
There was literally a time when all the good midrange to control decks had one or both of them, but the rotating out is better late than never.

I'll actually stop going Wild after the rotation, because all cancerlocks will go Wild and I don't want to play against that. Now I'm playing wild cause it's a way to earn golden portraits without playing standard ranked. Cause who cares about ranks in wild. :)
actually its coincidental that i will turn for wild for not just for ''sylvanas'' rotation but all of the sudden i felt the urge to replay ''demonlock'' brm edition which had malganyis boom and voidcaller ''one of the most broken cards in the game but one of my fav's as well '' and since imp gang boss is also rotating it just feels really convenient to switch .. so yeah will be playing tons of wild after the exp hits next month
I've been playing wild since a bot after Karahzan. At that point, standard meta felt stale. Wild, oddly enough, has a lot more deck diversity than standard, because there are more deck options, I'm personally having a lot of fun with a handlock(as in actual handlock with 2 ofs and no Reno). While pirate warrior is extra cancer because ships cannon is stupid with patches, you don't actually see all to many pirate warriors, and either way you have deathlord and sludge beltcher and healbot. Also, up until the pirate nerf, secret pally was a shitty deck

I just crafted golden Sylvanas and I miss boom
Because you can still find Control Warriors there.
Auto squelch. That's all I'm asking for.

this thread is not meant to be about the cards you don't like, try and keep this positive.
playing wild

I miss Lightbomb

Who's switching? I play both.
The real question is: Why weren't you already in Wild?

wild is good for old f2p player. Because have most of the card .
very hard to catch up when blizzard release 3 expansion per year.
quest+ some play. 20-30 pack per month
try hard= 40-50 pack per month.
I only casual play. Cannot catch up.
I'm yet to switch to standard.
Switching to Wild since Blizz finally managed to kill my favorite deck, freeze mage, in standart.
Alexstrasza and Emperor Thaurissan are forever in my heart
Stayed in wild because it uses all cards not just a few sets
