There was almost nothing to help out control decks and that's what I prefer by far to play. Aggro got help, mid-range got a huge bump.. and now control will be even further down the pecking order.
I got disapointed for the Kabal faction, my favorite classes are there, and the Kabal it's the weakest faction by far, but, no helps for control? Totally desagree, we got healing cards, 1 mana 2/2 to help fight for the early game, a lot of AOE removal. The sad part it's that the Reno style decks will die soon, so, the new legendaries are dead cards.
This is the first expansion I witnessed since I've only been playing for a month but I agree. There is so many bad cards, opening packs will not be worth it. There is only like one or two cards that I want which is the potion aoe.
Jade golem seems to have potential to be interesting. But the grimy goons buff hand mechanic is so unoriginal and boring.
I agree that midrange will probably be the most dominant deck type after this expansion, but I think control is going to be much stronger. I say this not because there was an abundance of control cards being released (which there obviously were not except for priest), but aggro is going to be much worse this expansion. When aggro falls, control rises, and control decks are fairly good against midrange decks. I think that the classes will be very well balanced come MSoG. Plus with all of the new crazy interaction blizzard is making, I would like to imagine that the hearthstone community will use their creativity rather than playing more mid range shaman and secret hunter for a few months until the next expansion
Not actually disappointed at all man. This is looking to be a very promising expansion in many different ways. Although I'm not very fond of the Jade Golem theme, there's much more to this set. A lot of people are overly happy with whats coming this week.
Not sure where any negativity is coming from. You people complained about "too much randomness" for like 5 expansions and now we have, what, 6 cards that are genuine random effect cards? I'm not referring to the "Give a random minion in your hand +2/+2" I'm talking more about Swashburgler or the new Rogue Legendary, putting random opponents class cards into your hand.
If its not Shamanstone, Jadestone, RNGstone or Curvestone, it will be something else. The amount of feedback Blizzard has gotten that's negative is about 90%. I'd say around 10% of feedback is constructive and positive. Maybe if more people focused on telling them what they're doing right instead of complaining and memeing about the issues, Blizzard would also focus on what people like.

Just some thoughts. Appreciate you all.
I was looking forward to some very interesting, slow but strong control cards but we really didn't get that (just a few) so that's why I'm disappointed.
Yes reno decks will probably be a thing but two things: A. ramp jade druid will counter those hard so if that dominates the meta then..rip B. We don't have reno that much longer
Not at all. Of course there are some bummer cards, but there's also a lot of really cool new mechanics that I can't wait to try. I'm very interested in what direction the meta will go over the next few months.
i'm dissapointed in the lack of Kabal support and Rogue being basically excluded form the Lotus, i'm cool with having bad neutral legends and good class legends, i really don't want to see a Dr.boom situation (neutral ran in every single deck) ever again, Goons and the other lotus classes (yes, even shamman) look really fun tho.
These are by far the worst neutral legendaries of any of the expansions in my opinion. Mayor Noggenfogger is so disappointingly trash for being one of the cards that was probably hyped the most in this expansion.
After all cards are revealed there are always a lot of people disappointed, if you are disappointed, I suggest you to don't look at the new cards next time, this way you won't be disappointed, but hyped when you open the packs with cards you've never seen before inside.
Just like I do this expansion, I know maybe 15 new cards, but not more.
The sad part it's that the Reno style decks will die soon, so, the new legendaries are dead cards.
I highly disagree. The priest legendary is still very viable. I am unsure how viable the warlock card was in the first place as most of the demons that are in standard aren't very appealing (especially if you're dealing with having only one of each in your deck). Kazakus and Inkmaster Solia have decent combos between them. you can cast a created spell (upto 10 mana) for free- you only need coin or one mana discount from emperor T for this to work. Although I do agree that Kabal got the short side of the wand in this expansion.
Of course I am. The only class I feel interesting is Priest and since it's my favorite and already golden class I'm desperately trying to find interesting decks in other classes. Jade Golems and gangs are the opposite of my definition of "interesting" or fun.
Actually I probably won't play Standard for quite a while, there's still some fun to be found in Wild. If Jade Golems don't overcome everything else, that is.
Have you tried Rogue? I know people are bitching and moaning about the cards they received, but at the very least Miracle is a list that's both interesting and avoids the gang thing if that's not your cup of tea. Honestly Rogue is also just fun to build for (I have golden Rogue and I'm something like 85 wins away from golden Priest, so I figured it was worth inquiring since those are by far my favorite classes), and if nothing else this expansion gave them more shenanigans to tinker with outside of even Jade Golem decks.
Honestly this set was another step in a direction I like so I can't complain too much; almost everyone got something interesting and, in most cases, extremely powerful. I can see a lot of decks I already want to build, and a lot of cards I feel need testing and tinkering which is one of the pieces of the game I find the most amazing.

Controls with Reno don't agree with you.

My magic will tear you apart!
Reno decks will be tier 1. I highly disagree.

"I wield the power of Blackwing."
I'm pretty excited for the incoming Tier 3 Weasel meta to be perfectly honest.

a lot of cards seems garbage tier. WotoG was 10x times better
