Hey guys, anyone try scaled nightmare plus double cold blood and conceal for 20 dmg next turn? Was wondering if the combo is strong enough in today's meta. Or might be too slow? thoughts guys?
Wel its a turn 9 play or turn 7 play with 2 preps seems to slow to me but duno you could pul it of, if u survive to late game to much agro on the ladder
The problem is that it requires 4 specific cards in your hand to pull off and it's "only" 20 damage so you need to already have dealt some damage or have a way to deal the rest. This type of thing is a fairly weak end game move, especially when, after emperor combos you can get way more damage from direct damage combos (with Malygos) using Priest, Mage or Warlock. Your card combo can be stopped by a simple taunt. Obviously you could sap, but that's just another card you need to have in your hand that you didn't need to play earlier in the game.
It will never be strong enough in any meta, as there are much better options in the classic set :)
You are using 9 mana to do nothing. Yes you create a 2 turn lethal situation, if your opponent cannot deal with it, or just kill you instead, but why not use a charge minion?
Wolfrider + double coldblood + faceless manipulator = 22dmg. You can spread the damage across two targets, and your opponent do not get a turn to act.
I completely agree with those stating that there better combos out there. I just thought of this combo as a unique way to end the opponent with flare xD. Thanks for all the feedback though.

It's a fancy combo but it requires 4 cards to work (5 with Sap in case your opponent puts a taunt between your dragon and his/her face); it could work in a high cycling potential deck like Miracle, but at that point you could just play Edwin VanCleef instead (which has no big requirements: just playing a lot of cards and ending with Conceal).
Pretty much this. It's basically the vancleef combo with a more specific set of cards needed. If you have vancleef I would just run that.
It's on a similar level of Djinni of Zephyrs combo, maybe scaled guy is slightly better. Great on paper, hard to make it real. You need huge card draw power to make it a real option. Might work in some form of Miracle Rogue.
Master of Disguise might accelerate the combo in your hand or even make for OTK.

Big Game Hunter, Mulch, Hex, Polymorph (both), Execute, Sap, Assassinate, Naturalize, Shadow Word: Death, Entomb, Mind Control, Silence, Ironbeak Owl, Twisting Nether, Humility, Equality, etc, etc, etc.........

It's not that. Just that Scaled Nightmare's combo is pretty bad with all the answers available out there. Too much waste of cards to be really useful.
I already said conceal. It is to negate these answers you speak of.

Seems like another Light Spawn, Divine Spirit type of thing. When it works great but so many things can prevent it. Not worth it. Imo
But most of those cards literally answer anything in the game...
Wanted to do it but this stuff is so hard, rogue isn't a survival class
