Will you be DE'ing your cards that are moving into Wild?
Especially with adventure cards being craftable [And thus dustable presumably; giving you several legends worth of dust], it could be very easy to dust your GvG/Naxx collection to get a big head start in Whispers, crafting the cards you want from the set. DE'ing a random golden GvG legendary gives you any 4 epics of your choice from TGT/WoG or any Legend, for example.
Obviously wait until you've opened your WoG packs before crafting or DE'ing. Also you don't even need to go all in with your DE'ing of old sets. If there's a deck you'd still want to play in Wild on occasion [Example for me, I'm probobly going to keep the cards that can go into Casino Mage; and go into Wild to play Super Casino Mage], then don't DE the cards in that deck and DE the others.
I completely agree with above two posts. Imagine you spent so much money and/or time to gain all the wild specific cards and now just because there's a new format you're going to DE them all? That's bonkers!
And as above post mentioned, you'll never know when and if you'll ever want to play wild again, so once you DE all your wild specific cards then that's it, finito, done, you'll never be able to play wild again.

Not disenchanting, there may be times when Standard gets stale and I'd rather prefer playing Wild.
I mean, the current state of the ladder is Druid - Druid - Secret Pally - Druid -Secret Pally - Secret Pally - Zoo. We still don't know how Standard will settle, but if it becomes anything like the current ladder, then long live Wild (and vice-versa, if some decks constitute 60% of matchups in Wild, then long live Standard).
There always gotta be at least one conspirationist guy who claims Blizzard is stealing our money and scamming us, in this case, by intentionnalt making wild unplayable.
If people are not so retarded, Wild will not be the place to tryhard but to have fun.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Wild will be mostly same ebola what we currently have on ladder.

I hope I am wrong though.
Actually, I think you're right. I just did some unranked games to test my rattlerogue, what do I face? Only huntards who play arcane golem, wolfrider, reckless rocketeer and all those shits or druid who only win because of the fon combo. In unranked. How remotely useful it is to win with such cancer decks in unranked. What pride do you get from that. Jesus. Wild won't stop people for tryharding just for the sake of thinking they're good when obviously they're not.
For me standard will be the serious ladder, but will use wild to complete daily quests. I also need the cards for future adventures, especially heroic mode where it could give big advantage. So no, I will not dust anything.
I don't see the point of playing Standard unless you don't have the majority of the cards or you want to compete in a professional level.
I feel like most people will try out standard, will quickly get bored of it and then move to Wild. It's just not fun playing with so few cards and miss out on all the cool ones. I don't think people will tolerate that for long.
Got to disagree with that, I have the feeling the exact opposite will happen :-)
OT: I'll keep my cards, for future Tavern brawls, adventures and possibly wanting to make Wild decks occasionally :-)

There's one thing that matters a lot though: cards like haunted creeper, piloted shredder, unstable portal, implosion , Dr 7 , muster for battle
Blizard intentionally let them unnerfed so that you will have always decks dominted by such cards. In that aspect wild will be boring since you will see more of the sa"me.
Plus new players dont have access to wild cards unless they pay thousands of dollards (this is not an exageration) so you can count them out. The more time passes I think wild will have less players
Balance + tournament points. Standard is the place, blizzard made our paid collection worthless and that's why wild exists: to have a legal foothold to say: "you can still play what you paid for" (which is false) In the future maybe blizar will start selling pre made wild decks, they will offer a much better deal than crafting cards by that point wild will be consolidated as the fun irrelevant mode - something like a tavern brawl
This might literally be the dumbest post on Hearthpwn right now
"pay thousands of dollars (this is not an exaggeration)" - huh?
You could buy two 40 packs blocs of Classic packs, and disenchant everything and get an expected 8000 dust (average dust value of a pack is just over 100). This would be enough to craft anything that has rotated out of Standard to build a Wild deck. Last time I checked, two 40 pack purchases cost somewhat less than a thousand dollars.
It might not be enough dust if you do not have Standard cards; but if you do not have Standard cards, Wild is not exactly a great choice.
I wont be dusting anything of course, im keeping all my cards and only dusting duplicated when nerfs come, which will grant me about 8,5K dust on duplicates. That, plus the 160 packs i will open will guarantee all common and rares fom the new set, plus a bunch of legendaries and epics of my choice, plus the ones i get in the packs.
I will keep all my old cards to play wild for fun, tavern brawls and such. I like collecting and my collection is alsmot complete except for a few legendaries like Millhouse or ETC, and 2-3 gimmicky epics missing like Hobgoblin or Garrison Commander, which i wont craft because its not worth it. All my collection, im keeping it definitely, the disenchanting value is pretty low.
i am going to de all wild cards....even the best ones except Kelthuzad ( for easy heroic adventures )......i dont care about wild as it will be more fun to try new decks new cards rather then same over powered shits..........

I'm so looking forward to when the new adventure comes out and people cry in the forums that it requires wild card x to beat boss y in heroic.
Standard is only the try to make more money out of the game and bring out more copies of the same; heck, even the gameboard is a copy&paste with tentacles and new interactions.
Hearthstone was always a game where i looked forward for new card to interact with old cards. With the sissy standard format this is no longer the case, because you only have the classic ones and the last 2 years of expansions. So this will actually reduce the fun since the expansions will have themes and nothing more.
Hearthstone needs more cards, not less. And this change only brings us more of the same rather than new interactions.
But this is a discussion for people playing on standard. But even if i would play this format; i wouldn't disenchant the cards. Simply because of both tavern brawl and adventures. While a Brawl can be both, blizzard already said that adventures will always be wild.
I'll disenchant all golden GvG cards since I'll mostly play standard, but that's all. On the NA server (F2P), I'll probably dust some Wild-only cards I never use too.
As many said, i probably could use the dust but i will keep my entire collection for Tavern Brawls, Adventures and maybe play Wild sometimes. But i will be playing mostly standard for sure!
I, personally, dusted my GvG and Naxx cards. I feel like I can still win one tavern brawl and beat the adventures (I don't care much for doing Heroic) with only Standard cards. I bid wild players good luck and hope they enjoy the format, but I will not be playing it.

I'm definitely keeping all my cards. It's not like I don't need dust, but they're always nice to have if I want to try a new, fun deck in Wild.

My brain can only memorize so many cards.
With almost 1000 cards, I will stick to standard.
Besides that, don't DE all other cards, you will need it for tavern brawls, new adventures

Hello.
You NEED all cards to play in Tavern Brawl and New Adventures, to beat the bosses.
If you disenchant all Wild cards, How you going to play it?
Unless Blizard specifically says Tavern Brawl and Adventures also limited to standard cards only.

you know heroic can be completed with 0 dust ..brawl is for 1 win ....so not much to say
