Here is a Mogu Cultist combo warlock I plan on trying out. Do you think this deck has any potential? What changes would you make to it to help its viability?
I will post how the combo works as a comment below. Here is the deck:
I think if the deck is to have potential, it has to do more then clear and heal. The deck runs virtually no minions you can play proactively and renders you behind in every stage of the game. i do like the end combo, but I feel there is so much removal, the actual deck doesn't have much substance.
i dunno, i dont see why I would play this when I can get my mogu combo setup in rogue with just Togwaggle's Scheme and Tak Nozwhisker
I see what you mean but historically Warlock has been much better at actually getting to that stage of the game, I don't see any Rogue build being able to survive to turn 10 with CC Mage or Secret Hunter hanging around.

Yeah it's very reactive...
Maybe you could run the handlock package w Mountain Giant, Twilight Drake, and Sunfury Protector but you would have to cut a lot of board clears or card draw. Might be worth the trade-off though.
To be honest all though it's a cool combo, the Plague of Flames + Rafaam's Scheme package looks clunky in a deck that already needs to hold 5 cards all game. The idea of the deck is awesome, but I think I'd swap those in favor of minions / stuff to do as mentioned above.
Here is a new version taking some of the advice above. I cut the Rafaam's Scheme package for Zilliax, Bone Wraith, and another Shadow Bolt so that the deck has some more meat to it.
Ideally you do something like:
T1 - play quest
T2 - lifetap or questing explorer
T3 - shadowbolt or lifetap + mortal coil something
T4 - you can start playing taunts, clearing boards, etc.
T7+ - now you can use cards like twisting, godfrey to control the board more easily

The combo requires Quest completion and goes as follows:

—TURN 2—
—BONUS—

Perhaps some mix of Riftcleaver, Zilliax, Siamat, Khartut Defender and/or Bone Wraith ?
...does nothing for this deck. You only really want the quest to pull off the combo and you will have to draw more than 20 cards to do that anyway.

yes fuck the quest might as well delete it then
Do you get the point of the deck? The quest is to enable a 0 cost Glinda for the combo.
Btw the deck looks decent. I wouldn't know what to change other than consider adding the 6 mana reborn taunt minion that heals for deathrattle.
So... what do you do when you draw Glinda during drawphase? Concede?
