I dusted lots of wild but keep some either important or i have a special relation. Never dust basic cards and think more then twice what you destroy. I am shure i will drop some rotating cards because i usually focus on standard but wild is a lot of fun. Especially for creative deck builders.
I don't get it. You're hoping to get some money back from the Wild cards? Or you're saving them because you think they have monetary value? Or is it that you don't get anything for disenchanting them?
I believe dusting Wild cards is burning money (or resources) away. Even if you don't use them, you are getting only half the cards' worth or less.
Most people I've seen who've done also either say they absolutely regret it or they've done recently (and thus, so far, no regrets).
I think it's not a stretch to say that many Standard players eventually leap into Wild, even if temporarily. This year, Standard stayed largely the same. Keeping Wild cards works as a staleness insurance for Years of the Raven :P
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I dust my wild cards all the time. You need to ask yourself if you really want to play wild. I did, answered yes, then took my old Miracle Rogue and Dragon Tempo Warrior to the Wild Ladder.
After doing that I've realised, that I really hate some cards and wait for each rotation never to see them again. After tackling Big Priests and other crap, I said no. But that's me, not you. Also, take those high-and-mighty Wild Player's responses with a grain of salt - wild players often pop up and try to show their superiority.

Love this comment, because it’s generally the Standard only players who like to flex their chests in superiority
a simple scroll through the thread shows a lot of shade thrown at wild, but you know this is where “we” come to claim “our” superiority.
we are all playing the same fucking game get off you’re high horse CHILDREN

gotta love this playground
Dude, I mean all those guys that post in threads about problems with certain decks in standard with "I don't have a problem, I play wild" etc. Or posts insulting OP that it's stupid to dust wild cards. It's his choice, idc about wild, he might not care as well. Wild players seem the really need to prove something, don't know why, don't really care.
And, just being completely honest, look at my post, and then look at yours and see who's got tilted.
Don't dust the wild cards. In the long run you might regret it.
Even if you don't play wild now, maybe you want to play wild in 6-12 months and then you will be happy to be able to use wild cards. Sometimes there are also brawls, in which you can use wild cards, for example the brawliseum last week.
Hmm. Jade Druid. Such a fun and interactive opponent.
Ooooh, Aviana Druid. More excitement.
Reno Jackson.
Another Quest Rogue, Quest Mage, Quest Warrior....
Odd Mage, Odd Paladin, Even Warlock, Even Paladin.
Does anyone remember Trogg into Totem Golem?
Sure it's diverse. I'm not arguing against that. I'm just glad that I don't ever have to play against any of these decks again.
Thank you for creating the Standard Rotation.
...
But I haven't faced a single Quest Rogue, Quest Mage, Quest Warrior, Odd Mage, Even Paladin, Even Warlock or Overload Shaman in any of my 26 ranked matches today. They're not that common all the time and even if they are, you have those nice disruptor cards like Dirty Rat and Deathlord. Man that felt good when I pulled that Velen from that priest today and entombed it immediately. Insta-concede. XD
...
So on one hand you say the Wild Meta is very diverse, and on the other, you didn't play against any of these decks. Which is it? And while many of the decks you mentioned are trash (Exodia Mage should use Emperor, not the Quest, Even Paladin isn't strong in Wild), the lack of Even Warlock, a deck which is at the very least high Tier 2, if not Tier 1, suggests that you might have been playing in the "recreational" room.
And finally, the Dirty Rat thing - another card I don't miss one bit. Sometimes I like to play Combo decks, and I'm not happy when some dumb Reno Lock is is about to be so dead hits a 1/5 shot to save the game. But I guess high RNG plays are good for the "recreational" players - how else would they win?
The two things you listed are not mutually exclusive. The Wild meta is diverse, therefore he didn't play against any of those decks.
DONT DISENCHANT YOUR WILD CARDS!!! If you ever E V E R want to play wild, you will want these dank legendaries. I personally love wild. Jade Druid is still fine. Not ad good since they freaking nerfed druid cards for NO REASON!!! Had they just HOF the cards they wanted to nerf, we would all be happy.

I look at it completely differently. Every year we get to clean out the old trash cards to make way for the new Standard Rotation. I'm not keeping any Wild cards (except a select few) because I'm gearing up for new cards, and I want to have them as soon as they are released. I'm saving money by not wasting time waiting to obtain cards that I want right now. I have the dust now to create them and I will be playing them on Release. And every so often I will go through my collection and clear out cards if I need to (If I run out of dust).
I find it hard to believe that anybody here playing Wild has all of the new cards as soon as they're released. And they will probably spend very little on any new expansion and only craft a few cards they find in a Netdeck after a few weeks.
Anyone who plays Standard competitively will be dusting a huge amount of cards to get ready for the Year of the Dragon (or they're filthy Rich and never dust any cards).
I’ve dusted all before and I’m dusting (almost) all again. This is not to say I hate wild. Ive been playing an even oil rogue in wild. Total change of pace and tons of fun. Best part? It took like 600 dust total to copy and adjust a deck I had found on this site and start climbing hard from rank 25-15 in a single day. Wanna know something else for the Standard/Wild war? BASICALLY EVERY DECK IN WILD CONTAINS SOME CARDS FROM STANDARD. So at any point if you have a good standard collection you can probably convert to a wild version for a small investment- wild legendary count depending if necessary for the archetype. Now does that mean in the future you may find yourself crafting a rotated card you dusted multiple sets back? Yes. In the grand scheme of things does it matter? No. I spent less than a thousand dust and now climbed as far as rank 10 in wild with a single deck that has enough wild cards for flavor, but such a truly minimal cost. If you really love wild, don’t dust. If you’re like me, and literally most other players for that matter, DUST ALL THE WILD CARDS AND STOP LETTING THE FANBOYS OF WILD TELL YOU ITS THE PROMISE LAND. You don’t need a freaking vinyl binder of cards from every meta like you’re trying to impress the girl at that corner store you frequent. Wild isn’t now, and isn’t proving to be, a format that the developers and Esports scene seem to care about. Stop letting people convince you otherwise.

I've no clue what I'm doing...
Maybe you already did, but disenchant golden cards first.
My favorite part about all the bias that goes on in this child’s playground is... wild decks are usually heavily influenced by decks in standard.
Under a rock? Let me explain. Every rotation you will see a healthy mix of some sick new standard cards being built around in decks within wild.
One of the best things about wild is usuing some of the old card synergies with whatever new standard flavor comes out.
in the end do what you think is best for you’re enjoyment of the game.
as a majority wild player I can say big priest can be annoying, but they aren’t the only thing in wild.
Thats it
Wild cards can be usefull in some brawls or adventures
Love the tribes.

liking wild a lot more atm

I dusted my collection a while ago and got a shit lode of dust. Til this day I don't regret a thing.
