Also, Even Shaman is good in Wild, Odd Pala is good in Wild, Odd Rogue is good in Wild. But there are way better decks than those. Aww, there is no DK meta and no Odd/Even meta, damn, STD isnt superior to Wild in balance and diversity, who would see that one coming
Yes, if you are f2p go for that, and even if u are not u will still want to do that, cuz wild for me is not fun at all,you need to play for a long time and have a good overall collection so you don't get bored, i get bored of a deck in max 1 2 weeks. Tbh wild is fun IF u have a good collection, if not( or not going to spend in order to have one) dust everything that goes to wild, I usuaĺy do that before xpac hits. That's how I do things. But at the end of the day we can do whatever we want with our hs collection. I don't regret it, I am happy about it, I disenchanted old and boring cards for new and fresh ones ;D.
Standard players complaining about Kazakus and Reno Jackson and Mill while MechaThun decks are played in Standard format
Oh boy, people are narrow-minded
How long is it going to be fun to face Reno Jackson? Or Mill Rogue. When you lose do you feel like it was a fun game? No, because the cards are broken. In Standard the cards are rotated out to make the game more interesting and competitive. In Wild, nope. Same decks every single week, month, year, eternity.
Sure you may have fun playing Wild, and I still have some Legendary cards that I think are fun to play. But I'll never resort to playing wild in Hearthstone simply because I've played the game for years. I know how broken some of the cards are. I never want to see Reno Jackson played again. I never want to face a DK Hero again. I never want to see Barnes on turn 3, or any of the Old Gods. Call it what you will.
Oh I forgot to mention that Broken Murloc card, Anyfin Can Happen. LOL.

How long is it going to be fun? Not long. That's why I abandoned Standard and went to Wild, where Reno is way less prevalent than he ever was during his time in Standard and now I don't mind him at all. Standard has "broken" cards as well, the difference is that there's less of them which makes them appear way more often than in Wild and the few that are there are a lot more polarizing. Again, diversity.
Same decks every single week, month, year eternity? Complete and utter nonsense.
EDIT: Oh yeah, Anyfin Can Happen, that broooooken card is so OP, I can't even remember when I last played against it. Man it's so oppressive. And for good measure I'll also add a "LOL". Apparently that's an indicator for a good argument.
You really only seem to remember those cards from Standard...

Exactly. I don't understand how anyone could bring the diversity argument in Standard's favour, it defies the plain reality of how the modes function. Spread truth, not ignorance and bias.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
i played standard the whole time then i tried wild lately and it felt alot better. Because the standard card pool is too low. Think about how many packfiller cards are in Standard... there cant be that much of a diversity. Standard would be a lot better when Blizz would also apply the arena change for ladder mode (every month rotating card pool)
Keep your cards, play Wild AND Standard. You don't have to choose between them and you don't have to lose your favourite decks/cards every year.
I swear I'll never understand why people are so scared of Wild. Because the meta is relative to itself, Standard is easily as obnoxious as Wild is, maybe moreso.
Also I hate wild because...it's just lame and I don't like it lol. Yet another reason I don't regret my decision one bit.
Many Wild players would replace the Wild at the start there with Standard...I mean facing the exact same Odd Paladins and Wall Priests is fun for you obviously, but it is by definition lame...both formats have lameness, the Standard lameness becomes infinitely duller quicker...Wild has too many options to be lame in the long term.
Odd Paladin will rotate out of Standard. Its in Wild forever. Like Big Priest. And Jade Druid. And basically every deck that people hated.
I knew I should have italicized the EXACT part...yes Wild has lame decks, the difference is because the card pool in wild has hundreds more cards you rarely see the EXACT decklists, since except for Big Priest there are no exact decklists in Wild for the true degenerate decks, even Odd Rogue. and Kingsbane (the difference between playing Doomerang or not changes how the deck functions, thusly how it functions in the meta).
That in itself is the appeal of Wild: there will be oppressive decks but the means you combat them is simply superiour in Wild due to options. There is little to no counterplay in terms of the overall powerlevel of Odd Paladin in Standard for example, while shifting it to Wild makes the deck significantly fairer.
Also Jade Druid is nowhere near the competitive deck it once was. Your fallacy is that because it is in Wild it is as degenerate as when it was in Standard, ignoring the obvious meta differences and passage of time. It's a common fallacy, usually spouted by people that either don't play Wild, or don't have the interest or understanding to learn its nuances.
Ah the Elitism of the "Wild Specialist" - AKA, the scrubs who crapped out in Standard, and hide in Wild. Didn't think I would see this after the way the Wild pro's got PWNED in the Wild Open.

Hmm. Jade Druid. Such a fun and interactive opponent.
Ooooh, Aviana Druid. More excitement.
Reno Jackson.
Another Quest Rogue, Quest Mage, Quest Warrior....
Odd Mage, Odd Paladin, Even Warlock, Even Paladin.
Does anyone remember Trogg into Totem Golem?
Sure it's diverse. I'm not arguing against that. I'm just glad that I don't ever have to play against any of these decks again.
I plan just to play standard and don't have much time to grind neither want to spend money on the game... so, I dusted all my legendaries and epics... I really don't regret it. I can play almost all good decks on standard right now and have enough dust to craft some interesting legendaries in the upcoming expansion. And I will dust all my legendaries and epics from sets that are rotating out.
But, of course, if you think you could be interested in Wild anytime, don't do that.

Thank you for creating the Standard Rotation.
Actually yes, that Jade Druid match I had today was pretty fun and interactive. A lot of Wild decks are absolutely able to go toe to toe with Jade Druid. You have to play smart but it's far from being dull. Sure, luck is always a factor, but that's an inherent component of almost every card game. :)
But I haven't faced a single Quest Rogue, Quest Mage, Quest Warrior, Odd Mage, Even Paladin, Even Warlock or Overload Shaman in any of my 26 ranked matches today. They're not that common all the time and even if they are, you have those nice disruptor cards like Dirty Rat and Deathlord. Man that felt good when I pulled that Velen from that priest today and entombed it immediately. Insta-concede. XD
I mean, you're complaining about decks that you apparently hate facing off against because of your experiences with them in Standard. Maybe if you wouldn't face them all the time, like you do in Standard, and had a bigger range of possible decks your opponent might play, then maybe you wouldn't be as negative about them. I mean, I do face those decks, sometimes more often, sometimes not at all, but I can't really say that I hate anyone of them because I just don't see them regularly enough for them to become annoying. :/
I think the only deck I have an inherent aversion against is Mill Rogue. Hated that one since my HS-childhood. XD
But I am also grateful for the Standard Rotation although for a different reason. Because it regularly gives me free dust for cards that I'm still gonna use or it gives me the chance to craft cards for free that I didn't get from packs. XD
There's a lot of bad cards in Wild, just like there's bad cards in every standard expansion. I'll go through and dust bad epics and rares and maybe a few legendary cards. The kinds I wouldn't play if I start getting into Wild, or don't really have cool uses for brawls and such.
Certainly, I'll recommend to any standard player that they dust any gold wild cards they've got regular versions of.
Hmm. Jade Druid. Such a fun and interactive opponent.

What level do you play at though Pit? Because it sounds like you're in the 20-15 somewhere and you're facing the people who have nothing better to do and don't want to lose rank so they play their old favorite deck in Wild.
I do that sometimes, and I play Mech rogue. About the only deck in Wild I kept cards for. I'm guessing in Wild as you get closer to Rank 1 you see more of the same boring decks that plagued the meta from times past.
Hmm. Jade Druid. Such a fun and interactive opponent.

So on one hand you say the Wild Meta is very diverse, and on the other, you didn't play against any of these decks. Which is it? And while many of the decks you mentioned are trash (Exodia Mage should use Emperor, not the Quest, Even Paladin isn't strong in Wild), the lack of Even Warlock, a deck which is at the very least high Tier 2, if not Tier 1, suggests that you might have been playing in the "recreational" room.
And finally, the Dirty Rat thing - another card I don't miss one bit. Sometimes I like to play Combo decks, and I'm not happy when some dumb Reno Lock is is about to be so dead hits a 1/5 shot to save the game. But I guess high RNG plays are good for the "recreational" players - how else would they win?
Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I did and regretted it. That said, Wild is an acquired taste and I'm not convinced that Blizzard will ever do much with it (in terms of balancing, tournaments, etc). So, if it is not for you, you don't need to keep the Wild cards.
I don't get it. You're hoping to get some money back from the Wild cards? Or you're saving them because you think they have monetary value? Or is it that you don't get anything for disenchanting them?
Also, Even Shaman is good in Wild, Odd Pala is good in Wild, Odd Rogue is good in Wild. But there are way better decks than those. Aww, there is no DK meta and no Odd/Even meta, damn, STD isnt superior to Wild in balance and diversity, who would see that one coming

I vote "NO" on proposition dust wild cards. Wild is so much more fun the more cards you have and the expansions come out.
