Most 2-drops these days are situational or need to follow up on a 1-drop. I feel there are hardly any solid stand-alone 2-drops, which is starting to become a limiting factor in my deck-building. As a sidenote this could also explain the continuing popularity of Keleseth. Anyone else experiencing this?
Any kind of deck really. Of course my complaint is mainly towards midrange decks because they need to curve properly. Anyway, guess other people aren't experiencing this. I just feel the new set did very little for building midrange decks, which I happen to prefer.
That 2-4 Warlock taunt isn't bad either, but a 2-drop needs to be bonkers to compete with Keleseth and Odd decks! Another issue is that Fire Fly plays the part as a pseudo 2-drop very well.
That's the thing isn't it? All the 2-drops you name are archetype forcers: Murloc deck, even deck or secret deck. I'd like to see some standalone decent neutral 2-drops like flame juggler, haunted creeper, Huge Toad and Micro machine. Now power is gravitated towards classes with great one-drops like Cleric, flame imp and others. At least in terms of minion trading. Keleseth is one of my least favorite cards because it's such a binary effect and having no punishment through powerful alternative 2 drops makes you even more obligated to run him.
A good neutral one , would just make Call to arms op.
Not really. CTA is not played that much in Wild anymore.

There are many possibilities for a neutral Battlecry minion, with above average stats, and a negative Battlecry that would put Paladin/Call to arms back on top . The latest aggro versions of Murloc Paladin run all Dirty Rat for example, before the rotation happened.

He’s using Wild as an example that CTA isn’t run much there, were there’s brilliant 2 drops. No need to be a bellend.

I think he's saying that call to arms is not OP with good neutral drops, as evidenced by wild.
Nobody's mentioned Crackling Razormaw? One of the best 2 drops in the game imo.

Well , but then that is not a really fair comment don’t you think?
In wild the general powerlevel is so much higher, ( when for example ppl Barnes whatever OP stuff on four, and various other options for Paladin... i guess they don’t run it over Quartermaster...) that you just can’t compare these mode with each other.

The cta reference in wild is to make a point... Dumb standard Player
I think that's definitely an accurate statement. I was just browsing the 2-drops from rotated sets, and there's just a lot more stuff which can just be slammed turn 2 without having to worry about it. Even stuff like Flame Juggler seems stronger than a lot of 2-drops right now. Power seems to have shifted into the 1- and 3-drops, with 2-drops being a lot more combo-oriented. If I had to guess, that's probably a large part of why even-decks aren't nearly as common as odd-decks, after the necessary Call to Arms nerf.
Hopefully at some point in the future, the balance will shift a bit. Hopefully soon, since there are only 4 more sets until Genn Greymane is gone out of standard.

Please.... no reason for insulting someone over his choice of playing another mode than you do.
Also I explained ( on the previous site)why you can’t compare those with each other. Any comparison from standard to wild is honestly just irrelevant.

Just play Baku the Mooneater and Prince Keleseth decks EZ
Quasi-stellar radio source

Rockpool Hunter, Murkspark Eel and Arcanologist are pretty good!

Which is a good thing, having overpowered 2-drops like Totem Golem breaks the game.
There aren't very many good 2 drops and the ones we do have are kinda underwhelming. Keleseth is the best one and the only one you need lol.

We have good classpecific 2 drops...

Priest has like no good 1 or 2 drops we just get shit stomped in the early game, lol.
Dead Ringer and Radiant are like all we got and they just get ran over when you play them on curve.

Doomsayer is the best two drop. Get that in your deck.
Dibbity don't touch that!

Given how generally good Aggro is right now and even decks, I'm not excited about better 2-drops.

Have you seen Prince fucking Keleseth?
Blizzard doesn't want you to play two drops.
They want games to be decided based on who has the luck to draw that fucking ass first.
