I have the Val'anyr, Sunkeeper Tarim, Patches the Pirate, and the Creepers as well as the Call to Arms. I want to know if Aggro Pally is better than Murloc for climbing the latter, especially since I would have to climb a couple of purple mrgrlrlrlrlls.
Do you have all relevent Murlocs? If yes, I would say play Murloc-Pala, it should be better at the moment, I think.
If you play Murloc-Paal you have to think about how aggro or more midrange you want to build the deck. There are a lot of options, for example with or without a pirate package, with or without Val'anyr and so forth.
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
Murloc Paladin has a higher winrate compared to aggro paladin according to Vicious Syndicate stats. And does better against Jade druid and Razakus priest. It should be noted that aggro paladin might stay on standard after the rotate, even if it loses patches, but murloc loses Vilefin Inquisitor and coldlight Seer so it might suck a little after that.
I've been having great success with both, but maybe the slight edge to the Murlocs. The Murlocs just seem to jive better with each other, as opposed to the mish mash of random good minions. I've been able to close out games MUCH quicker with Murlocs, but it does have more awkward draws, like when you get a Megasaur with no targets for example. So the slightly quicker games might give it the edge for fast climbing. I don't have a huge sample size with those decks though, I just play them when I need to rack up some quick wins.
