Hey, I've played HS for quite some time but currently don't have much free time, yet I still would like to try to get legend this season. I am currently stuck at rank 12 and 11, had a good winstreak with Temporogue after rank 15 but I can't close the deal to get to rank 10. I kept playing Temporogue but fell down a few ranks because the deck feels very inconsistent, it's either draw Keleseth or basically lose. I also tried Razakus, Big Druid and Big Priest, they all feel so damn inconsistent, especially Big Druid is just straight up trash if you don't draw your ramp, which happens too many times.
I am essentially looking for a deck that is consistent and not just relies on a few cards to win the game, doesn't really matter if it's aggro or control, I just would like to get to Rank 10 today or tomorrow. I can't play Murloc Paladin because I am missing Finja and Tarim, but I got many other legendaries so if you have any suggestion I am happy to hear it.
Hmm... all the decks you mentioned are capable of reaching rank 10, and beyond, inconsistent as they may be. In general, I'd recommend to "just" play more games and learn to play them better. But you said you don't have much free time, OK.
Honestly don't know if there's a super-consistent deck out there that can automagically make you earn ranks... this is HS after all, and there's always RNG involved. However, you might consider this list from VS, which has 55% or more wr against all classes:
### KFT VS Standard Zoo Warlock # Class: Warlock # Format: Standard # Year of the Mammoth # # 2x (1) Acherus Veteran # 2x (1) Fire Fly # 2x (1) Flame Imp # 2x (1) Malchezaar's Imp # 1x (1) Mortal Coil # 1x (1) Patches the Pirate # 2x (1) Soulfire # 2x (1) Voidwalker # 1x (2) Prince Keleseth # 2x (3) Darkshire Councilman # 2x (3) Southsea Captain # 2x (3) Vicious Fledgling # 2x (4) Saronite Chain Gang # 2x (5) Despicable Dreadlord # 2x (5) Doomguard # 2x (7) Bonemare # 1x (10) Bloodreaver Gul'dan # AAECAf0GBMQIkbwCl9MCnOICDTD3BKgFzgfCCLSsAry2Ap/CAuvCApvLAvfNApXOAqbOAgA= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone # Generated by HDT - https://hsdecktracker.net

I get what you are saying and I certainly understand that there is no deck that will guarantee you a win every game, but I don't want to play combo decks anymore that are straight trash if you don't draw your 2 or 3 cards when you need them, just looking for something that might still be able to win even if you don't draw perfect. Anyway, thanks for sharing this list, I will also try it out later.
Razakus doesn't work for me anymore, like the last 2-3 month,
Most of the time I played Big Priest and Evolve Sharman from Rank 18 to 10. Also a little bit control Warlock and Buffadin.
According to my experience Evolve Sharman with DK is pretty strong at the moment. I'm playing on EU
Yeah, it doesn't work for me neither. I actually have an Evolve list that I made myself, still needs some tinkering but it's fun to play. The thing with Evolve Shaman is just you're basically challenging your RNG on a whole other level lol. I like Big Priest but my last three games where so bad so I kinda want to take a break from it. Could you share your Shaman list so I can compare it to mine? Would be awesome, thanks.
Murloc paladin is still insane. It can snowball it's way to a win against just about anything. It's a very expensive deck though, with 8 epics and 4 legendaies.
Hah, I'm in the same spot as you, OP. Had a terrible losing streak yesterday and ended up switching decks all the time. Tempo Rogue is still great, but sometimes you'll lack reach and DK Warlock will literally eat you.
Have you considered Big Druid? Tempostorm has a decklist for that.

Yes, Big Druid is trash if you don't draw your ramp, otherwise fun to play. Still, too inconsistent to climb with it, as many other decks.
Secret Mage - Not sure if it was a joke suggestion or not but that deck is really bad, you end up with dead draws a lot. Not worth in my opinion. Can get a head if you draw perfectly (some secrets and 2x the secret girl) but otherwise hard time winning with this game.
Zoo Warlock - Probably the best deck here, but same as Temporogue, had a 4-0 Winstreak at first but lost the next 3 games in a row, so can't climb with it either. Very powerful if you draw well.
Murloc Pally - Not tried, missing legendaries
Big Priest - Gave it another chance and regret it, have like 6 removals in the deck and never draw one against aggro. Deck gets a lot weaker if you don't Barnes on turn 4, and gets almost unwinnable if you don't have your 4 mana rez card after that.
Evolve Shaman - Fun to play but RNG on a whole other level, can get some nice wins with it though.
So my conclusion is that I will try aggro druid and if it won't work just give up and maybe play rankeds only for farming a golden hero. No point in trying to get to Legend when it is this inconsistent, I'll end up just wasting my free time. Might have been a bad day for me in HS but tbh can't be bothered to try again.
I kept playing Temporogue but fell down a few ranks because the deck feels very inconsistent, it's either draw Keleseth or basically lose.
As someone playing rank 2 with Tempo Rogue & hundreds of games under my belt, this is just patently untrue. You don't get Keleseth most games and the deck is still good. I suspect that if you can only win if you draw Keleseth you are mulliganing / playing the deck incorrectly in those other games. I don't mean this as an insult, but as an opportunity to reflect on your play to see if maybe you are doing something incorrectly with the deck. It's also possible your list is not optimized for the meta. Here's one I've been playing lately and having good success with and fun playing http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/964507-61-win-rate-rank-1-barnes-keleseth-tempo-rogue

Big Druid has the same problems as any other EZ BIG EZ decks, however I'd disagree. It's better than Big Priest (and less retarded, as your gameplay isn't limited to getting Barnes or turn 6 Shadow Essence. Tempo Rogue and Zoolock are still good, but they NEED correct plays. On the other hand, they get R3KT (seriously hardcore rekt) vs anything with huge board control options. So it boils down to facing Control Warlock decks with too many Hellfires/Abyssals, as they can easily destroy your board, which equals to you losing.

Kinda agree. I'm tweaking my Tempo Rogue list to face my local meta, but Control Locks give me a headache. They run so much hard removals, minion burst spells and huge AoE, that it's a nightmare. Keleseth or not, the deck still is strong, but too much fast Hunters and too much Warlocks is a pain. Also, around rank 10 there are quite many Evolve Shamans, which also makes laddering difficult.
Honestly it's completely untrue that you need keleseth to win, and that's the key to ranking with "tempo" rogue. If you don't draw keleseth, you have to play more of a controlling game... save that elemental for vilespine, get good value out of your shadowstep etc. If you don't get keleseth you often don't get to be the beat down... Improve your control game and you will improve your tempo rogue win rate. My suggestion? Replace keleseth with evis and play until you get a positive win rate, use a deck tracker to record it. Also if you're seeing more druid 5 mana 8/8 is better, if you're seeing more priest, 5 mana 5/5 dragon is better. Generally 5 mana 5/5 is better.

A general suggestion, independent from any specific deck: try to have bigger sample sizes, before drawing conclusions on the performance of a list.
I know, for most if not all of us (including myself) it's hard to invest the time necessary to play many games with a deck, and properly evaluate it. On the other hand, if we play just a handful of games, there's very little statistical significance in the win / loss proportion.
For instance, you said you won 4 out of 7 games with zoolock, so you might be thinking the WR to be "close to" 4/7=57.1%, right? But how much close, and with what confidence? Well, there are formulas to estimate the confidence interval. Most of the time people want a 95% confidence level, meaning: if you repeated the experiment billions of times, there would be a 95% chance that the result would fall within the interval. With your data, this means your "real" WR could be anywhere between 18.4% and 90.1% (again, with 95% confidence). And this not because the deck is inconsistent but because 7 games are just too few, sorry about that.
Unfortunately, that interval shrinks quite slowly with increasing number of games. Even if you played 100 games with a deck, there would still be a good deal of uncertainty. Say you won 57 of those 100 games, instead of 57% the "true" WR could be as low as 46.7% or as high as 66.9%. You can check the numbers yourself if you go to a site like http://statpages.info/confint.html and play with the parameters (numerator and denominator will suffice). BTW this is also the reason why most of advertised winrates in decks titles, published here or elsewhere, are basically just click-bait.
So what's left, if we can't play thousands of games ourselves? Afraid the only remaining course of action is to rely on HS stats sites like Vicious Syndicate or HSReplay. Even those numbers should be taken with a little grain of salt, but are usually more reliable than those a single player can make.
The problem is not in Tempo Rogue deck, that deck is perfectly fine for laddering. The problem might be in knowing to play it perfectly, to do that you have to know your enemy and their weaknesses (and when to risk and when not to risk). You might not enjoy playing certain decks - I didn't like playing Taunt Warrior, Jade Druid, Pirate Warrior... and was pretty bad in playing those decks.
Highlander priest is difficult to play good, other viable options are probably Murloc Paladin and Secret Mage, as I know.

This +1. Also, sometimes a deck is good, but if you face way too many counter decks in a row, you start tilting and looking for decks viable for laddering. I play 3-4 decks and swap them, while tweaking on the fly. I've started going Big Druid because I got tired, hit rank 10 and going up. Will probably switch to Tempo Rogue back again.
I have been having good luck with Dragon Priest the last few days. It does very well against Big Druid and Raza Priest, and those are some of the most common decks I have been seeing.
I like the fact that it has multiple ways of winning, depending on your draw, and your opponent. You may end up just playing a more standard "minion" type deck, or if you get some luck with early Divine Spirit / Inner Fire draw, you can turn any minion into a monster quickly. Your Historians give you a chance to kinda "tech on the fly" depending on your opponent. I have found with Big Druid, I will choose the bigger, late game options (Deathwing, Ysera, ect) to be able to combat their big minions, or I can choose Operatives for a decent mid range body, with the added bonus of getting a class card from opponent class.
I made just a couple modifications to the standard list, mainly opting for 2x Shadow Word:Death, just to help deal with the BIG EZ decks big minions.

In my opinion the midrange Paladin (murloc) list is the best deck to ladder right now. I played it to rank 4 and from 4 with a Midrange hunter list what is insane against all these slow decks like bigpriest bigdruid razakus priest and jade druid. The winchance against Tempo Rogues is decent, too. I teched in a Golakka Crab for Tempo Rogues. If you face too many Zoolocks i would prefer to switch decks because the winchance against zoolock is below 50%.

Honestly don't know if there's a super-consistent deck out there that can automagically make you earn ranks... this is HS after all, and there's always RNG involved. However, you might consider this list from VS, which has 55% or more wr against all classes:
