Currently i'm running Demonwrath. I frequently see those Defile highlights and i'm wondering if its actually better than Demonwrath. Are guaranteed two damage better than the potential of Defile? Do i have to run Tainted Zealot with Defile to be any good? Or would you even consider running both of them to ensure aggro doesn't stand a chance?
I'm actually pretty sure about that one. The one damage makes a huge difference. You can kill those nasty Tunnel Trogg and Mana Wyrm. Just curious what you thing about it.
Gnomeferatu also found a way into my deck. I know it isn't the best card but its pretty fun combined with Brann Bronzebeard.
If you have any experience with Renolock, share it with me. I'd like to make a version with more cards from the current meta (i also tried swapping Ragnaros the Firelord for The Lich King).
Thank you already for your feedback. This is my first forum post and i'm not a native english speaker so i would be really happy about some good answers and tips.
I hit Legend with Renolock during Gadgetzan. I have played it a decent amount in the Frozen Throne meta, but nowhere near as much as I used to.
I much prefer Defile for its insane flexibility. It does not require a spellpower minion, however it is much better with one. Tainted Zealot and Bloodmage Thalnos also have synergy with a lot of other spells too, so they're not bad inclusions. I personally run Thalnos.
I ran both Darkbomb AND Drain Soul in the old aggro meta, but seeing as the meta is mostly priest now, I would run only Darkbomb.
Gnomeferatu is fine and fun. "Battlecry: Sometimes destroy the enemy priest." seems fine.
Since i dont have Bloodreaver Gul'dan (consider crafting him) i have to run other threats. It's more like the old school LOE Renolock. But Lord Jaraxxus does a pretty good job at finishing games. Anyway, thank you for your quick respond.

I actually don't run any big threats like Ragnaros the Firelord or The Lich King. I wouldn't run The Lich King because of his inconsistency, but Ragnaros is totally fine. However, I prefer to run a demon package for the lategame. I run Krul the Unshackled, Bloodreaver Gul'dan, Lord Jaraxxus, Mal'Ganis, and Mountain Giant as my big threats and it seems to work great, especially with Voidcaller to cheat them out sometimes.
