Face Shaman often is a problem too, if the Pal doesn't have a nice a curve
Yes, I think I won vs every paladin with my smorc shaman. The key was to actually kill the doomsayers to keep pounding with your minions. He needs 2x equality clear, or he is dead before he gets going. Few taunts makes big doomhammer+rockbiter+spells burst very dangerous. Earthshock on Aldored can also be a key play.
Those who say priest beats N'Zothadin are you serious ? My winrate as priest against them is 0% so far even with the best Entomb targets (Tirion and Sylvanas).
Yeah if played correctly N'zoth Paladin shouldn't lose to a late game deck.
While people consider it a Control deck, it is actually more of a Midrange deck with a few control elements. The N'zoth finish and DR cards included really pull it toward a midrange playstyle.
It is actually not a good low rank ladder deck - it gets ruined by aggro decks. Like the game kripp was playing with an unrefined thrown together Shaman list that beat a N'zoth Paladin. Even bad aggro lists can destroy it.
Also since it is aslower midrange list, a faster midrange list should do well against it. For example C'Thun Druid seems to be a bad matchup for Paladin.
The only other thing that should give it some ammount of trouble is Entomb because that is essentially a Control card that counters Midrange decks. And Entomb is more of a problem for N'zoth lists. If you remove the N'zoth burst finish, it can shift to a bit more controlling and then Entomb gets really weak. And even with N'zoth in the list, you can play around Entomb if you play correctly.
In played correctly, Paladin should almost never lose to a control Priest / Warrior dec, because even a "Control" Paladin list is more Midrange than a Warrior/Priest list, and that's how the triangle goes. Midrange beats Control, Aggro beats Midrange, and supposedly Control beats Aggro. The problem with the triangle is they need aggro decks to get checked by strong control lists, most likely from Warrior/Priest.

I have very high WR against N'Zoth Paladin by using N'Zoth Priest, not the regular Control Priest type. Shifting Shade steals either their big minions or their removal cards or even weapons, all of which benefit Priest. Entomb can be saved to steal their N'Zoth.
N'Zoth Paladin has lots of removal to punish opponent's board, but it doesnt work for Priest as they are late game finishers. N'Zoth Paladin usually go fatigue against Priest; their winning chance is lower as the game progresses.
I have my own version of N'zoth paladin that is built to beat other N'zoth paladins because they are the bulk of the meta around rank 8-5. The deck also does well against most other minion based decks however suffers greatly to things like freeze mage(which is rare now) and rogue decks when you dont have the removal for their threats.
Thats just wrong, if he uses forbidden healing you just run out of burn spells and loose
Well u are just wrong!
Beside zoolock and rogue, it's the easiest matchup for freeze mage. Didn't lost one game against nzoth paladin cuz it's by far the slowest deck.
What's threatening? A 4 mana 1/1, turn 6 cairne or sylvanas? It's a free win if u know how to play freeze Mage. Sure forbidden heal, lay on hands, some of them even used guardian of kings, is a lot recovery but pretty useless against a thalnos otk.
Lol. LIVE INSECT. Bye freezemage
Have you ever played against freeze mage? They can deal up to 30 dmg in a single turn. How useful will LIVE INSECT be when the final ice lance smashes your face? Lol

Then maybe n'zoth priest isn't for you. It takes patience to play priest.

I don't play N'Zoth priest, but a budget dragon priest. I don't know why you assumed that.
I play two control shaman decklists that both have beaten out N'Zoth paladin decks. As long as you save Hex for Tirion and Sylvanas, there's not much your opponent can do in terms of threats.
Crusher's shaman list has recently been updated and it uses Ancestral Spirit on Earth Elementals and Flamewreathed Faceless. So even if your opponent lowers their attack, you can just get the regular version back when they die.
I use another shaman list I came up with that has Kodoriders for a constant stream of threats and Charged Hammer for continuous removal and pressure. You can sometimes get the pally to waste an equality just to remove one Kodorider.
N'zoth Priest humiliates N'Zoth Paladin. Entomb on 2 of their 3 deathrattles and then play them as your own minions. And then revive them as your own minions. While Paladin can revive only one. But Paladin has better match-ups against other classes which makes it a better deck (unfortunately).

I was playing it and just got Rekt by a mill rouge.
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

Miracle Rogue has got to be it's worst matchup.
N'Zoth priest without a doubt. Hold your entombs for tirion and sylvanas. He will have no answer for u.
From playing a N'Zoth paladin, any Priest, Miriacle Rogue, Tempo Shaman, and Freeze Mage.
Basically if a deck can deal 30 damage in one go, or remove your threats without killing them there's not much the paladin can do.

Control or N'Zoth Priest -- so many removal options it removes their win condition with the 2nd Tirion & Sylvanas
Priest is not bad since you can steal their stuff, and CW with 2X Brawl is very good imo

...There is just no way that happens...
(It happens)
MidRange Shaman has been working fine so far just because Hex is a good way to safely remove Sylvanas Windrunner and Tirion Fordring, and on top of that, it doesn't kill them, so N'Zoth, the Corruptor doesn't bring them back.
