Hi guys I'm Spark, after hitting Legend in Season 1, I decided to climb again this season and I'm sharing with you the decks that I used to hit Legend during season 2. Here, I'll explain briefly my choices and present you the decklists. I highly recommand you to check the links to get to the deck descriptions, read my write up and understand why I used those cards. Don't forget to rate it up and feel free to ask any question in the comment section or in this thread ;) I'll also link you the specific thread associated with each deck for those who want to interact on a specific class, I'll also post some updates and considerations in those threads. Off course, i'll use the decks that brought me to Legend last season. You can find them through the following link : http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-deck-building/8726-sparks-road-to-legend-decks-dissection
Hunter : Pyromaniac Secrets (Control)
Hunter is probably my favorite class, I just love the background of this class (sound, design etc..) and it's the first class that I brought to lvl 60. Since the Unleash the Hounds nerf, the viability of Mid Range Hunter focused around beasts decreased, mainly due to its inability to fight Aggro decks such as Zoo. However, Rushdown Hunter is still pretty strong because the dominants decks in the current metagame tend to lose against it. Based on these data and due to my high interest for this class, I thought about building a deck that combines the strenghts of those decks.
The basic idea was to play Savannah Highmane as a late game threat and Eaglehorn Bow as a versatile control and pressure tool along with Snipe and Faerie Dragon to annoy Miracle Rogue. The slower nature of my choice lead me towards a Control archetype, using a synergy that I already tested before : Wild Pyromancer and Hunter's Mark. However, the Hunter hero power having no impact on the board, it forced me to play some solid early minions that could fight against the opponent’s board and threaten their life. This also lead me to choose some bursty win conditions to go along with it and try to end the game quickly afterward. The deck ended up being both controlling and pressuring, which allows you to adapt your playstyle depending on the match up. I played it at Legend Rank with some promising results (around 65% winrate) and I have to say this is the best counter to Miracle Rogue I’ve ever seen as I scored a 90% winrate against this deck.
Rogue is one of the first classes that I used, and I've been working on this deck since a really long time. So this time again, I'll use my Tempo Rogue Deck for which I finally found the tweaks that I like I and definitely recommand you to check it for its niche choices.
April 6th, 2014 : I made 3rd place in the EU Managrind Open 24 Tournament using this deck, see details in the related Thread (link below)
The advantage of this one is that you have the edge over other midrange decks that focuses more on early/mid game thanks to your mid/late game threats, so you'll often win the mirror match if the opponent is playing a standard list ;) It is really good against aggro rushdown decks thanks to our early control plus board presence, but can find some issues against big controls decks if they make it to very late game dealing with all of your threats. However, you'll generally beat them before that happen and the improved late game that I use compared to some standard decks helps fighting against them. It is really versatile and I often find myself playing it when I don't really know about what i'll be facing in the day's meta ;)
The following deck is a Mid Range Mage that aims to deal with popular decks currently played. It comes with some efficient tools to take control of the board throughout the game and uses mage versatility to switch between pressuring and controlling.
The funny aspect of the deck is the RNG part of it, but your hero power is here to back it up and Acolyte of Pain and Amani Berserker will benefit from Mad Bomber hits. It makes use of strong Mage cards such as Mana Wyrm, Water Elemental, Fireball and Polymorph and aims to finish the game with strong overall Legendaries, mainly Ragnaros the Firelord, while keeping the opponent's board cleared thanks to some AoE spells plus some great Mid Range minions.
That's it for my choices this season, I hope it will help you to get to legend too ;) I insist on the fact the you should read the writeups that I made to help you understand the mechanics of the decks, especially for the decks that are kinda niche. I'll also keep updating them as the season goes on if any changes are needed and maybe improve the description with card choice and match up sections. Don't forget to rate it up if you liked and also don't hesitate to post on the comment section if you have anything to ask or say about it ;) Thanks for reading =)
Oh great, I don't think it is the fastest but I feel like it's pretty good for climbing overall ;) In a similar playstyle, I tend to prefer my Tempo Rogue, but the Mage one is more control oriented so using one or the other depends on the day's meta I guess ^^

The following deck is a Mid Range Mage that aims to deal with popular decks currently played. It comes with some efficient tools to take control of the board throughout the game and uses mage versatility to switch between pressuring and controlling.
