Tactics A warrior ability that is often seen being used by warrior-esque raidbosses (Like Pol in Highmaul, or Franzok in Blackrock Foundry). They force casters to pay attention and to stop for a moment, or they'll be locked out of whatever school of magic they were using for a painfully long time (about six seconds, really).
Tactics The card allows you to dodge certain combo's based around minions, like Alekstrasza, Grim Patron or Grommash Hellscream. But only for one turn! The opponent can get around it by simply not playing their minions that turn. It's delay tactics, much in the same way Loatheb stops most spells for a turn.
When used in conjunction with a big minion, it can save them from the Big Game Hunter or The Black Knight. Or this card can be put into a negative card-effect deck, using Ancient Watcher or Venture Co. Mercenary, to silence and then play.
Card Text [3 Mana] [Warrior] [Spell]: Silence all minions in your and your opponents hand. Restore unplayed minions at the start of your turn.
I feel this is a really balanced card i have finalized the stats through editing this post to make it more balanced. Be sure to like this post if you want to vote!
Simply put, you don't want to make noise around this guy, so Battlecry would be a big no-no. His immunity to silence is simply because it would not effect a deaf dragon, whom cares more about the noise of others than his own.
"I have no need for eyes to see my enemies. Your clumsy footsteps and foul stench give you away!"
I may still be in the mindset of last week's competition, but I came up with this card.
The idea with this card is to make Ogre Decks viable - perhaps even pave the way for a small ogre-related expansion. Everyone hates drawbacks, including the 50% chance on the otherwise powerful ogres. However, this card removes the 50% chance, so if you drop this down and you already have a couple of brutes and an ogre ninja on the field, that's 14 damage that is now reliable instead of RNG based.
Drawbacks are, it also silences any enemy ogres on the board, as well as silencing Ogre Magi... but still, it could be useful for locking in some last-minute burst damage.
I know it might not look very "priesty", but in WoW lore there's something called Shadow Priests and they are the darker kind of priests and not as much into "light" magic.
Balance wise: It's got awful stats for its cost which will probably give you a tempo loss. This can also be pinged by several classes. It's effect is good, but it is situational. Playing this when there isn't anything worth to silence is a huge loss of value. It is in some ways worse than Mass Dispel but at the same time this will, if played correctly, mess with your opponent's game plan. I think it would be interesting to see this in the game because there should be more mind games in Hearthstone if you ask me! Enjoy and please vote :)
This spell would be used in a silence deck with Mass Dispel and Wailing soul. You could easily silence 5 minions in a game which would do 10 damage to the enemy. It could also be used with Velen for a huge damage burst. This might be too op but im not too sure how good it would work in the game.
Flavor text: Apparently, he is quite the chatter when he is off duty.
It's pretty strong in a zoo deck, if the card survives the round where it is summoned. Else it's a wasted turn for zoo which will probably turn out fatal. In any other deck, this card allows to summon stronger minions faster, but various effects (Taunts, + Spelldamage, various buffs, divine shield...) can no longer be used. Some cards on the other hand can be pretty strong with this (Anima Golem, Ancient Watcher, Fel Reaver).
Maiev Shadowsong, once jailor of the Betrayer beneath Mount Hyjal.
"Not all those who wander are lost."

A card with variable power, although the 2 damage makes sure it is never completely useless.
Edit: Wrote the word "silence" in bold.

Make Murloc decks viable!
Gets rid of taunts and every time an enemy minion is summoned, becomes more resistant to AOE threats and can work as a late-game finisher.
Give it a +1!
EDIT: Increased mana cost and lowered Health.

She jails minions (by making them unable to attack) as long as she is around.

I like to make "silence" decks and more so Wailing Soul viable, so this ought to do it :)
