I think that if it read "whenever you summon a Silver Hand Recruit" would be over the top with Muster. The thing with a 5/5 for 5, is that it should be rather powerful board-wise if it's going to be class specific. Otherwise, why would anyone pay 5 to get a worse Loatheb.
5/5 for 5+Divine Shield is fair, I think...given the current state of minions and how easy it is to deal 5 damage with a healthy board.
I know 5/5 with divine shield for 5-mana is balanced (assuming there's no MORE benefits to the card), but any card with DRAW as part of its abilities can't be that strong lol. Just like compare this to azure drake and gnomish inventor you already see that even without the divine shield a 5-mana 5/5 with draw power is already pushing it, if there's a divine shield it'll require two cards to remove a lot of the time for many classes. I know 5 damage is easy with a "healthy board" but we're talking paladin, the class with a ton of tools to establish board control, and 5/5 with divine shield is VERY tough to remove consistently if you are only relying getting the right spells.
That is an absolutely excellent card. I would have to say, it's probably the best designed Paladin Legendary I've seen thus far! I think at 5 mana it's fair as a 5/5 with divine shield, and then you give it that awesome power on top of it. He might be a bit strong, but you likely wont draw more than one card off of him. If you look at him as "7 mana 6/6 divine shield draw a card" he's actually fine. Ancient of Lore is one stat less (about one mana worth) but draws one more card (about 1.5-2 manas worth) but is lacking divine shield (about .5-1 manas worth). It's slightly better than Ancient of Lore as it's stickier with divine shield, but it's a legendary! So it should be!
Great card man! I'd love to see it in the game.
Edit: Also, this would rival Tirion Fordring in arena. It would be sooooooo good in arena!
Great card, and great love for paladin too ;) because you are givin us the possibility of drawing cards with solid body, and a mechanic that you can activate every turn. Strong, but balanced - great job!!

Comparing a class only legendary with Azure drake or Gnomish inventor for similarity is way beyond what is really happening in HS. If that was true, could you imagine comparing Tirion with the Shield Tank? Not even close.
A class legendary with no direct way to affect the board or kill the opponent right away, should be really powerful....unlike say Bolvar who didn't make it into any decklist unfortunately.

Thank you very much. I do hope that I see something similar for the Paladin.
hmm if u phrase it that way it does make more sense, I would play this card 100% of the time if it came out though, always a huge fan of fitting draw into my decks
You're aware this would be far too good right? lol. A 5-5 divine shield for 5 mana would be already almost worth playing on it's own without the ability to draw. If this doesn't get instantly killed, your opponent is likely to lose the game right there. Think how druids could deal with this for instance. You could not use any card to kill it because it drew your opponent a card already, so it would be a 3 for 1 if not a 4 for 1 if you have to swipe it + hero power the divine shield + run something into it to finish it off. Silencing it would still mean you lose like a 3 for 1 trade. because the 5-5 body easily kills the keeper.
Druids would need an ancien of war on board, hero power the divine shield and kill it or a steal with sylvanas.
If it was to be kept with those stats and card text, it should be 6 or 7 mana on it's own.
I can name quite a few cards that 'if not killed instantly' you are losing the game. A 5/5 for 5 that sticks around isn't one of them surely. Of course it's a good card, but having played several seasons and hitting legend in most of them, I fail to see how a 5/5 with divine shield played from a Paladin, will stick around for more than a turn.
Quiet a powerhouse .... 5 mana, a 5/5 body , a Devine shield and a drawings ability .. i like the card , but it can be quiet a probleme for some classes , such as druid . The most efficent answer could be Hex , comparable to Tirion Fordring i guess
Legendary Draenei Vindicator to aid on board and card draw issues.
Or.... "Whenever you summon a Silver hanf recuit, Draw a card"
I really like that card idea! It's like a lategame northshire cleric
prob not divine shield though otherwise card too OP to be destroyed in 1 turn for some classes.

This paired with Muster for Battle would be so strong. Almost like the old Unleash the Hounds with Starving Buzzard combo.
Sounds like a cool idea though and I love the idea of including more Draenei in the game!

I have no time for gains!
