Larissa is a treasure hunter, who uses invisibility to skip boss fights and get the treasure faster. Her Powerful Artifacts are references to the WoW raid loot. She combos with
Myra's Unstable Element
,
Shadowstep
and
Grand Archivist
.
Tokens
Each of artifacts is suited for different styles of play: Infernal contract is best suited for Mill Rogue, if she ever comes back. Bleeding Hollow Vial is good for Miracle Rogue, especially if followed up by
Academic Espionage
. Xal'atath is good for former Kingsbane Rogues. Elementium Cluster is best in Thief Rogue, because she can upgrade spellstones.
Thanks to everyone who helped me balance the card!
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Basically, you choose the left, right or middle Bandit, and Vanessa takes its place (on your screen). On your opponent's screen, three Bandits appear - maybe in a cloud of smoke for added visual flair. Vanessa will stay disguised until she is damaged or deals damage, forcing your opponent to either leave them alone, risking 9 damage on board, or strategically try and deal with them without losing too much. The effect is a Combo because you are technically getting 9/8 worth of stats for 7 mana.
I wanted to make something new and original for this competition. I wanted to create a card, which is versatile and can offer you aid both defensively and offensively regardless in what kind of state you are stuck in. In order for you to control the outcome, you have to play with your hand-size. And since pulling off such sophisticated shenanigans seemed like a rogue thing, I figured this legendary would fit this class best. If you are wondering how the trickster works, well
- if you have 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 cards in hand, you will get two copies of Distraction; - if you have 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 cards in hand, you will get two copies of Fluffy.
I purposely made the tokens cheap, because rogues are known to utilize cheap spells. The distraction trick can be used in miracle decks as a cycle tool, to slow down your opponent OR in combination with buff cards like Fungalmancer to form a nice board presence. Fluffy is like a Darkbomb - good for killing a minion or the enemy's face.
[edit] Big thanks to the people in the discussion thread, who gave me feedback on how to improve my card.
How it works:
When played, Bazil lets you discover secrets similar to
Hydrologist
,
Arcane Keysmith
, or
Secret Plan
, but in thief fashion the secrets are Paladin, Mage, or Hunter. Secrets are presented on a completely random basis, other than you (obviously) won't be presented with the first secret chosen. The secrets are then combined into a single spell that casts both of them; the cost is (2) less than the cost of otherwise casting both secrets separately. However, as it's technically generating a Rogue spell, there's no synergy with
Spectral Cutlass
,
Tess Greymane
, etc.
Lots of utility for rogue, letting them adapt their game plan every time, and even the most expensive custom secret (two Mage secrets) can be played on curve, if desired. You can combo with
Preparation
to make most cost (0). And it's consistent with rogue's class identity.
So basically, the choice comes from using it as a removal or as a way to duplicate minions for a lower cost than Faceless Manipulator but with a huge downside . You could even use it to trigger 2 deathrattles of a minion.
If there is no more valid target, the effect will stop. Synergize with Northshire Cleric , Auchenai Soulpriest , Embrace the Shadow (in Wild).
Earthen Vitality
Shaman need heal for new xpac!

Kalimos, Primal Lord but for Mech Warrior. With a teensy bit of Flappy Bird flavor.
Invocations:

A Legendary that opens up a lot of options for Shaman tribal decks:
Edit: The art was bugging me: there was a bat-wing in the top-right I wanted to crop out more.

Pretty simple. Works similar to Kobold Hermit , except this is a continuous effect instead of a one-time trigger.
Flavor text: She mistakenly thought this was her set, the Wispwood.
And for the Whispers:
"I wish you hadn't done that, that was Weyoun's Last Clone"
Flavor text: Conscription usually involves throwing away frivolous things. Like your name, and your keywords, and any stats over 1.
On Play: Join the Light! We have funnel cakes.
On Attack: Sign up!
On Death: We all join the Light... one way or another.

Ok, so here's my submission!
Prepare for trouble and make it double!
