Overkill seems too similar to Windfury so I suspect there will be more than just, "attack again". I think overkill is a means of pushing beyond a card's limits but at a cost. This in mind I designed this card to save time by focusing on all I know and not assuming things. If there is a price to pay then a Mage might not be able to afford much but I think with the recent nerf of Mana Wyrm that Mage's need a new 1 drop that draws attention. If Overkill's ability doesn't cost too much then I think this would become an instant replacement.
Bring sacrifice to the Loa of Death! Apples are nice, but he much prefers souls of the dead.
Ever had those matchups where you don't have any damaged minions to heal with your
Northshire Cleric
? Now you can damage your minions and heal backup the damage. It offers great synergy with
Shadow Madness
and
Potion of Madness
, allowing you to kill of enemy minions and draw loas of cards.
The idea is that the mace is so heavy, when you swing it at a weak enemy, the enemy will be overkilled and the mace will continue to swing into your allies, or yourself.
If Druid's theme is about using their Hero's Attack in other ways, such as activating
Savage Striker
, they'll need a way to tap into that effect outside of using the Hero Power;
Malfurion the Pestilent
won't be around (Standard) forever. Gonk's Chosen is hard capped at providing +3 Attack if it runs into a 1 Health minion, which could be seen as a waste of its 4/7 statline, so you have to balance just how much value you put in pumping attack into your Hero that turn (provided enough support goes into the theme of Attack activation)
Requires Auchenai Soulpriest or Embrace the Shadow to enable its full potential, but it can serve as actual healing in some situations.
