At first, I want to make a Choose One card that can turn to Choose Twice if you target a Beast. But because of the text limit, I have to turn it another way.
In general, the card is Adaptation 2.0 which has fewer (more reliable?) options and gives you bonus effect for certain condition. Most of the time, giving your 1/5 Scarab Beetle or 1/6 Crypt Lord Poisonous and Elusive is the best choice. While running a token deck, two times Parasitic Infestation can secure you at least 4 tokens.
However, since it's called Infestation, I also think about making it possible to affect the opponent minion as well. Giving your opponent Baron Geddon Poisonous can help you clear the whole board (except him) with only one mana. Moreover, you can mess up deck that have synergy with random Beast such as Hadronox Taunt Druid by using the Deathrattle option as well. Giving them four 1/1 Beast tokens (eight maxed) will significantly reduce their chance to call back thier key card with Witching Hour .

this is essentially a spell stone. also want to clarify this doesn't only pull hunter secrets. someone in the discussion thread missed that so i wanted to make that known.

Works with spell damage cards like Bloodmage Thalnos to become an Assassinate .

So with this secret you have the chance to save a minion if your opponent plays a spell against one of your minions. On the plus side, if the spell is burst damage it will absorb that damage, keeping the minion on the board. On the downside, if your transform a minion or even steal a minion, the divine shield would work against you.

So in short, a secret which you have to play carefully based on the situation on the board.

A classic Paladin ability that I feel is missing in Hearthstone:

I wanted to find a picture of "Silver Hand Recruit"s shooting arrows but oh well.

At face value Counter Strike is Blessing of Might in Secret form, but that changes its use-case and provides its own set of advantages:

• Being a surprise buff can lead to trades that are not advantageous for your opponent; your minions "trade up" or inflict more face damage.
• Inherent Secret synergy with Mysterious Challenger , Hydrologist , Bellringer Sentry , etc.
• Pairs very well with Taunts, minions with Lifesteal, and/or Paragon of Light . It's basically impossible to Silence preemptively.

This is on the stronger end of Secrets, but I tried the same design before as a Hunter/Rogue card and it felt underwhelming.
