So now that I know how this competition actually works. Here is my first idea, an Awesome Treasure from the Master Chest.
(It's meant to have the Kobolds watermark. FML)
So I think Quests are pretty unlikely to ever appear again in Hearthstone (granted, Joust did come back in the form of Raven Familiar about 2 and 1/4 of a year after TGT). Bit of a shame because it's a really cool mechanic and there wasn't really ever much support for a lot of them (The Marsh Queen for instance only was supported in Un'Goro, however Fire Plume's Heart already had years of support for it when it came).
You may thing "Well, this kind of defeats the purpose of the Quests, don't they?"... well, sort of... but it is random and the Reward may not work as well as you think if your deck isn't tailored for them (as is the case for rewards like Crystal Core or Megafin).
Damn I really want to submit Helm of Domination (sorry nobravery and phoenix) but I'm not sure if I can because Lathy posted a similar card 3 minutes before me. Mods? Is it ok?
The mods have voted, and Helm of Domination was deemed legal.
First of all because the cards were shown within such a small timeframe, that it's unlikely that you copied the card.
Secoundly. We feel like the effects are different enough, to make them seperate cards. One act as a simple buff, whereas the other also includes Stat changes, and a transform mechanisme.
Yay! Now the question is whether I should jump on page 1 or not.
Oh, haha. I knew someone would've done this! I like the middle one; the Jaraxxus one is too swingy, and the right-most one is also too swingy (1-Cost to 10-Cost with the curve leaning around 2 or 3 mana). Warlock spells are always fun, and they fit thematically with the 'Raising hell' idea of the card.
Considering it takes up a space on the table, it can really only summon six Deadscale Knights lol :P
As for its balance, I guess it's alright. Onyxia's whelps don't have Lifesteal - and are not Murlocs - but you have to acquire this minion from outside sources so whatever. It has Taunt and costs less, but it's on a much smaller body. A single Maelstrom Portal will doom your underlings all the same, so I think it's relatively fine.

I have a new card I'm working on, considering the...absolute lack of response toward Nightfall :/ While Nightfall was perhaps too boring, this might be too complicated:
The end of turn effect is like a "damage-over-time" Equality on your Hero, lowering your maximum Health to 25, then 20, 15, etc. etc. To maintain the Enrage effect you have to stay ahead of the curve, chasing the "high" even as you fall further into self-destruction. It's not actually damaging you, though, so you'll have to damn yourself to keep the bonus; if you're already low in Health, then hey free +5 Attack lol.
It still needs a mana cost, art, and I need to capitalize Hero, but I'm throwing it out there to see what people think.

Holy crap the rate this is going is so slow. It seriously feels like a mini comp. Actually, this prompt might've faired better for a mini comp than a main WCDC. Almost considering just submitting now (and my initial post has 3 upvotes, which feels like a sign to me).

Pretty much share the same thoughts as Linkblade on this. Just like he said, it should say "Summon six" because this already takes a spot on the board anyway.
Yes, I noticed I missed the "d" on "Emerald". I'll correct it if I submit it.
Helm of Domination - The Helm of Domination is what makes The Lich King, well, the Lich King. Whoever puts it on their head becomes the new Lich King.
Emerald Dream - That's where Ysera is from. Ysera is only found in super control decks, which would prefer having lots of control cards like Ysera offers.
E.T.C.'s Cheese - Because I had to.
Helm of Domination is the best of the three here. On par with the other tokens and is always useful.
Emerald Dream is way too powerful and swingy compare to the other dream cards.
E.T.C.'s Cheese: Useless if not use right away while only benefit your opponent.
This week's theme is such a mixed bag for me. On one hand, this allows to pull some ludicrous cards and really cool effects we wouldn't be able to in other competitions. On the other hand, it's quite hard to think of strong ideas and evaluate correctly as they are so powerful.
Alright so I came up with these. One for Ysera and another one (two versions of it, actually) for the Lich King/Arfus.
I like the first version of King's Call the best. Powerful but not too OP. Oniric's Presence flavor make no sense while most of the time will just be a Holy Light
Posting some of the immediate ideas that came to me for this theme
Raise Some Hell - Based on the ETC song of the same name, and card effects like Dread Infernal and Abyssal Enforcer. It's a bit worse compared to class cards like Hellfire and Consecration (especially compared to Rogues Do It... being a better Hammer of Justice), but AOE is oftentimes more valuable than direct damage.
Remorseless Winter- Following the theme of most of the Death Knight cards being based off Death Knight abilities, and also exploring the bitter cold that comes with the Icecrown theme in a much more direct way.
Eye of the Lich - Based off the legendarily infamous Eye and Hand of Vecna, following the D&D theme of Kobolds and Katacombs. Other versions of this card could've been "Discover a card in your opponent's hand" or "Steal a card in your opponent's hand." Those two options seemed weak, but the third, printed option may be a bit too strong.
Raise Some Hell seems balance but looks kind of boring. Not really great flavor either.
Eye of the Lich is just really unfun for your opponent. Get rid of it.
Remorless Winter seems a little too strong? You basically Frost Nova and lockdown 2 of your opponent's minions attack in the next turn.

Edit: NVM. I just realize that it is meant to be a Treasure.
The flavor doesn't make any sense. Why does the Reward is tied to the Tome? Beside that, the effect is way too weak? for a treasure given that it doesn't impact the board right away while the Reward themselves are just too low value.
Repost my cards with some modification and a new idea:
Bag of Jewel is a Treasure that can help you get your Spellstone and create an interesting dynamic that you can play them right away or wait until next turn to get the upgrade or wait even longer to get the big effect.
Fallen Champions: Based on the LK boss card. Allow for value stealing in a world infest with Bonemare and Corridor Creeper
Impressionable Whelp: Back-to-back Ysera so she will likely to stick and create more Dream Cards.
Death Juggler feels more like a set card than a DK card.
Vampiric Blood is the one I'd pick. It fits so perfectly with the expansion.

Whoops. I already submitted Death Juggler! :( I understand what you mean when you say it feels like a set card— after all, the DK cards are all spells apart from Frostmourne— but I thought that's what made it stand out. If you look at something like Death Coil, it's a lot like Demonfire or Starfall, but just themed around death knights. Also, if you draw Arcane Intellect with Vampiric Blood it does nothing so it feels a bit weird/off in terms of how useful the effect is; I'd have to word it more like Hallazeal the Ascended.
For your cards: Bag of Jewel (which should be plural... bag of jewels) seems too complicated to me. Do they upgrade at the end of each of your turns? Or just the turn you play this treasure? I understand there's some versatility there and differences depending on how you play the spellstones, but it seems still too complex (see Wondrous Wand).
Fallen Champions is good... but I suggest instead of it being minions your opponent played, it should be "Discover an enemy minion you killed this game." Fits the flavor better (but should probably be 1-Cost given it's really bad against token decks).
Impressionable Whelp: This could just be Faceless Manipulator really... Wording: "Transform into a copy of the last minion you played." Could be just transform into the last minion you played, or specify 'an exact copy' if you want it to have the stats of that other minion if it's still on board. Otherwise however this can be kind of disgusting as a Ysera drop. Ysera is a pretty hard to kill card against some classes, so playing Ysera and then getting this so you can have two Yseras is HUGE value even for a 6-drop.

I like bag of Jewels flavour wise, but there are a few changes I would personally make.
1. Make them random instead of from your class
2. Make them fully upgrade, but make it instantly
3. Increase the mana cost to 5 mana
So: 5 mana: Add two random Spellstones to your hand and fully Upgrade them.
Is Ellor's Token supposed to be a warlock card? Or is it meant to be a Marin card? If so, make it a neutral spell. Wording: "Discover a spell. Add a number of Coins to your hand equal to its Cost." Honestly you could just submit Bag of Coins for this one, so I think you shouldn't submit this.
Emeraldon Oracle: I was initially like "yeah but why would you mention Ysera" and then I thought of Ysera Awakens... so yeah, this is a good card. However, you should think of this as Antique Healbot plus a conditional Healing Touch. That would usually make this an 8 mana card so maybe price it at 3 mana. I know there's the 4 mana 7/6 and the 3 mana 3/5 Elusive, but this is still a very powerful effect.
Gnomageddon is silly, but so are all of the inventions. It should be "for a random player" rather than "from". I'm torn between this and the Oracle, but I'm leaning towards the dragon here.
I like that the Death Juggler get normal juggler's "unnerfed" stats XD, However, it feels like every underpowered. I think you should have gone nuts with the card text... How about: "Lifesteal. Whenever you play a card deal 2 damage to a random enemy" ?
Yeah, I got the underpowered feedback from someone else too... I buffed the damage up to 2 on the submission, but I'm not sure about whenever you play a card... I suppose I'm not allowed to change it now :( Even though it wouldn't really change the spirit of the card.

Thanks for the feedback, and you're correct that Gnomageddon is meant to say for not from. Just a note that all of Marin cards have the Warlock border for some reason (Link) similar to how Ysera's have the Hunter border.
Ellor's Token: almost 25% of the time (maybe more) the card will end up doing nothing. Sometimes it will actually punish the player (imagine having to choose from 1, 2 and a 0 mana spell)... With treasure card, even in case of the worst RNG, they don't put a player that cast them in a worse position.
Emeraldon Oracle: its a solid card... kinda boring tho for my taste, but actually balanced.
Gnomageddon: it should be: "... for a random player", right? If so, I really like the card. Its funny and gets out of hand quickly.
Good point on Emeraldon Oracle, kinda balanced but not really interesting. And as someone who's played Runespear a bit, Ellune's Token would end up flopping a lot but so does Tolin's Goblin 50% of the time. Even so, just because there is one bad treasure card, doesn't mean it's ok to add another one.

Just FYI, I'm pretty sure that's just Hearthpwn's problem... It renders all of the Marin cards as warlock ones even though they aren't. If you go to the wiki you can see they're definitely all neutral spells.
YES! FINALLY! MY DREAM OF A DEATH KNIGHT CLASS CHALLENGE HAS BEEN REALIZED! (Don't care what anyone says. Power Chord and Dream cards don't exist. This is solely a Death Knight class challenge.) Finally, my dream is realized. All these beautiful Death Knight cards, all so beautiful. I'd vote on all of you if you weren't my competition. Oh well, potato patato, now for my first ideas. (Oh boy this was a long time coming.)
Now, my first idea I've had for months. Lord Marrowgar would be a massive threat to deal with, and I've wanted him as a card in constructed for a long time. (I think he might be too powerful. If anyone agrees I'll work on nerfing him. Probably make it so friendly minions get hit by Bonestorm too, or increase his cost.) Also, he doesn't have the Legendary gem. He just has it here because Hearthcards is not up to snuff, and hasn't given us the ability to add dragon borders to non-legendary cards yet.
Blood Tap I took from the classic DK ability and the Lich King's scripted Blood Tap from the Solo Adventure. Though this one feels kinda rushed. I would like to know what changes should be made in costing for it.
Lastly is the card I really enjoyed making. Mind Freeze! Just like the DK ability in WoW, Mind Freeze, well, freezes minds. Not only does your opponent get stunned from this, but they also cannot cast spells. So what I did was make this into a Loatheb effect that also shuts down weapon classes.
As always, I encourage feedback. I will also give feedback to your cards if you reply me them.
Also, Hearthcards, fix your shit. Set Markers don't work for tokens now because for SOME REASON, if you remove the rarity gem the marker is gone. Also, let us put the dragon border on non-Legendaries, so I can make some Legendary tokens.
Custom cards :

I have three cards.
Which one?

The last one is super flavorful, but I would make it even more OP, like "deal 2 damage to a random enemy".
The other two cards are decent but not as interesting.

Three cards from three different card pools.
I aimed to make each card believable within the card pool while also adding something that wasn't there before.

Here is my initial idea for an E.T.C. Power Chord card. Still feels a tad weak. Thoughts on balance?
