To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?

• Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
• Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your idea? Do you need help finding art that will fit your cards? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per competition, so make sure that you've settled on your idea for sure beforehand.
• Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's ideas? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? • Posting TONS of Ideas. We understand that some of you might have a ton of potential ideas you'd like to share. However, this thread is going to become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time, to keep the thread generally orderly and legible.
• Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is balanced?". Yes, getting feedback on your idea is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your ideas for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
• Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.

Sir Anduin Lothar equips a weapon whenever your old one is destroyed, except when you replace your old one, and makes sure it stays Sharp; if anyone knows a notable blacksmith in wow, i'm open to sugestions. (please ignore the mech tag, everyone knows lothar is a murloc, i just put the wrong one)

The rest of the cards should be pretty easy to understand.

@Sinti, while i think practice and perfect are more interesting, i think hack and slash goes better with your class; i sugest you go with the latter, but keep the former in the back of your head.

@NOVEX0R, yeah, you're right about spell book, there were some other cards on this thread that had specific draw, which is why i balanced it around that, but it's up to you how you do it.

What is B.F.H. anywaY? Big F*** Hammer? If so that isnt rly HS appropriate now is it :P

Hot Iron seems too strong for a card, let alone basic card. It will theoretically be Assassin's Blade or better 2/3 times.

One of your Classic cards seem to be deleted from imgur.

Quick Reflexes: the wording is fine, but holy f*** how many itterations of "___ your hero is attacked ___" r there lol :P What is Sharpen? I didnt see any mention of it in your Phase 1 sumibssion either.

Eh, Get Behind Me: i like this one.

Prototype: Explosive Trap and Harvest Golem: i dont like these two very much, feels way too similar to their originals and also seeing so many Prototype cards, feels like ur goin a little bit hard on the theme. Mby at least make some original ones like Prototype: Security System.

for the keyword, how about Unsheath and Unsheathed?

What about Reactive?

I feel the challenge voting polls are lasting way to long. Most people seem to be already finished their basic sets before the challenges are even chosen. Worst case if someone missed the poll is the get the most popular challenges without their vote and that's not a big deal.

Focus Mind: i dont like this for arena at all, would be suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper strong. Probably even better than BoK, since you can play it on your 2-drop on curve and snowball from there.

Twist of Fate: i like the idea of it, but again, the buff part is a little too strong. Especially given how versatile this card is. But mby it is balanced by the fact that you "have to" know what card you have on top of your deck, so it technically costs 7 (+cost of your hero power)?

Rest of the cards seem good.

A secondary idea for the second one could be: cost 4 draw 2 and give a mind block or 2 to the opponent.

 Basic Set

Since I will not have much time to create cards this week, I want to submit early. Any final remarks about the cards? Is Hide and Seek ok? I know Stealth hasn't been used in Basic, but is it a problem if I do (I plan on having a few Stealth cards since it suits the Illusionist theme well)? Which cards should I showcase (Terrify is going to be 1 to meet the first challenge)?
