I actually find the pure Deathrattle disabler most appealing (aka #3). The effect is kinda neat but also doesn't spark major excitement to be honest - it could be a borderline useful effect like Nerubian Unraveler, which i like, but somehow it doesn't really 'wow' me. Also i feel like it lacks some distinct flavour and the name could be improved unless it's referencing some original character which i'm failing to recognize x)
I mentioned it in the original post, but the card is referencing a character my father created; it has nothing to do with Warcraft, honestly. Just a Halloween/seasonal-related individual.
You find #3 the most appealing...but not particularly exciting. That's not a good sign D:
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Ok, had brain wave/fart on the drive... can't deny I love it, not withstanding the mixed seasonal messages :D, just gonna go with it. Ty ppl, will give some more feedback in a bit.
@Hereharehere I think the clow is the most useful and balance of al three. I like a little bit the first one but the effect is to much polarized.
@CheeseEtc I prefer the hauting and the totem more, since they are more creative. The others are not really stand out. I think the totem was better at low cost, maybe you can low a little the health so you can use that 4 cost without concern about the balance.
@RazorOfArtorias The second looks better and more useful. Also the first one should say "a random friendly..." since it's a deathrattle effect. Epic because the only other card that have "secretly" also is an epic.
@The_Giratina as others say, has too much going on even for a legendary. With that wording would be better as a spell, if you are going to go with that one.
Freedie Rouger: The wording is confusing to me. If you dropped it on 3, would the enemy minions that did not attack on 2 get hit? Or would it count to your turn, so that every minion always gets hit at the end of your turn. Regardless, the effect is interesting, with lifesteal whirlwind and the stat distribution is fine. Essentially a 2/5 for 3.
Enslaving Warlord: Wording should be "Summon the last minion this minion killed." Cool effect however.
Is there any better way to write the text of this card?
You cannot gain both Lifesteal and Poisonous at the same time, it keeps changing after you play a spell or minion, of course it won't change with other cards like weapons and the hero cards. You can rather cast a spell for the Poisonous, or play a minion for the Lifesteal.
@LockNeko You could word it "Has Lifesteal if the last card you played was a minion. Has Poisonous if it was a spell", though that would change the functionality slightly. He would have Lifesteal right away, and neither after you play a weapon or hero card. It would eliminate the ambiguities, though; a card can't be both a minion and a spell, so he wouldn't be able to have both at once.
@Hieii: This isn't worded properly but I can't think of any way to word this properly that would fit in 4 lines of text. Also the effect is not very original and as noted by Tox I already made a card similar to yours.
@RazorOfArtorias: Rare, though I don't like the base concept. I don't see the point of the deathrattle being secret since it doesn't really affect your opponent's decision making.
@The_Giratina: Too complicated, and the card doesn't fit the WoW universe.
@Prod: Upon looking at the card more closely I really like it. Even though it is good, it doesn't stand out from other card (which is why I must have missed it during my first global review). First art is definitely best. Would upvote.
@Shatterstar1998: I don't see this being played. Most of the time you would prefer your own minions to a 2/4 Taunt.
@TheProgenitor: Lord Stal is the most interesting but three times might be broken and fuck design space. I would reduce it to twice and raise the stats as a trade-off. Would upvote with those changes. I don't find the other cards interesting.
@Ozymandias: Thanks for feedback. Given other's feedback I still can't decide between the first three I posted though. Unfortunately I don't find any of your cards interesting from a gameplay level, their effects are all underpowered.
@Hererahreherheretc: The base concept is interesting but the effect is complicated for what it does, also Shaman is not a Grimy Goon class. I would make it deal a fixed amount of damage. Don't know if I would upvote yet.
And of course self-promotion:
As for me, given the feedback, I'm down to these choices.
DOOM SHREDDER - Again, the meme card that some of you liked but that seems risky to me. Also I can't find any great art for this.
HAUNTING SPIRIT - A more 3spooky5me version of my previous Vindictive Sorcerer. I've also increased the damage deal to 6. I feel it was too weak otherwise.
VENOMFANG TOTEM - Again, there were some disagreements on the stats. My original version was a 4mana 0/4.
BLOATED MUR'GHOUL - A more 9spooky11me version of my previous Suicide Bomber. Also made a Murloc. Comparable to Volatile Elemental but the effect is more immediate. It's a Murloc so it's especially useful in Murloc decks for early board control but can also be used as a control tool in non-murloc decks. [Alternative stats: Deal 2 damage to a random enemy (so it has a chance to hit the hero). I'm not sure whether restricting the effect to minions might make it OP]
In addition to those, here are 2 new cards I didn't show before:
ARMORED NERUBIAN - Based on the card I submitted for the Worgen class special competition. Armored Nerubians gives Druid a form of hard removal that is consistent with its class identity. [Alternative stats : 3mana 2/4]
FLYING WITCH - A simple and flavorful idea based off Fire Fly. I strongly hesitate for the stats though, I have 3 variants in mind:
1mana 1/2, spawns 1/2 weapon (current version)
2mana 2/1, spawns 2/1 weapon
1mana 2/1, ADD a 1mana 2/1 weapon to the hand. As a rogue, adding cards to hand might actually be better.
Which is best ?
Given the current feedback, Doom Shredder, Haunting Spirit, and Venomfang Totem seem to be overall equally preferred.
Het all, thanks for those who gave me some feedback already but I'm still not sure of a best option.
The Giant Freak'n Clown is 10 cost as you need to lose heath first to reduce the cost. Then either attack with a slow minion (except Paly Charge guy), or lock/priest spells. Priest has the best potential for a mass reduction, but that doesn't seem to have a massive swing effect till atleast t5/6 then it's anticipated and is subject to losing lots of health first.
Old Crone was Trick or Traitors
but couldn't find a good image. If you've got a suggestion it would be great (rigght now, i'm blind from serching though the multitude of disturbing looking clowns there are out there D'':).
I like the theme for Vampyr Mercenary but wondering if it's op?
Do you think it's ok to say 'lifesteals' meaning when life is restored more than (0). Generally in hearthsstone (0) value is a non event? i believe.
Northshire Cleric doesn't give a card when you heal a full-Health minion, so "Lifestealing" should also work that way. As for the cards themselves, Vampyr Mercenary has cool flavor. The balance is probably fine; since your opponent gets to trade with it first, they're much more likely than you to get cards out of it, though you still get a cheap 4/4 and some heals. The Clown is not as flavorful, and I'm not digging the exclamation point, but it's an interesting effect. I'm also iffy about the relatively low cost, since you could get him really low with just one card; giants typically require more investment than that. Though I don't think anyone's done a clown yet, so for that reason it would stand out. Old Crone is probably too strong as a 1-drop; you can play it t1 and just trade into whatever the opponent plays without letting them damage you, or it would just die right away.
I want to say that the Clown is the best option, since the name and theme stand out. The other two might be too odd for some, though by the same token their effects are also more unique.
I'm not sure of the balance on Death's Heir. Mana-value-wise it's strong compared to Envenom Weapon+HP, though it's also much slower. Lord Stal's name is a reference to a Twilight Princess boss. Witch's Cauldron is pretty self-explanatory, I think.
Any thoughts?
i suppose you're right, Death's Heir is a little overkill - one Assassinate on a minion plus an envenomed dagger is a lot for 6 mana. Witch's Cauldron looks a little boring though, if i'm honest.
I agree with Cheese that Stal should probably only get two Deathrattle copies to not ruin Deathrattle design space for a year. Then it would be more balanced than Death's Heir and more interesting than the Cauldron.
NOTE: A lot of cards became dead links, so I can't evaluate them.
Cards I'd vote for:
Putricide's Monster by Zence (page 1) - This is ******** and therefore awesome. It could be neutral though.
Blood Mage by Novexor (page 2) - The 2/2 version.
Revenge Killer by Tox (page 4) - The 3 mana version.
The Razorhydra by Teknican (page 5)
Spectral Seeker by StegosauruxRex (page10) - The stats can be tweaked with but I'd say they're broadly right given the power of the card text.
Clever Girl by... oh wait.
Sadomummychist by Lathy (page 12)
Obvious Rager by MrUncreative.. wait
Hellish Valkyr by Cogito (page 13)
Cards I'd vote for with modifications:
Prince Tenris by Tox (page 2) - I would word it "the next spell you cast this turn" so it can only be used as part of a combo which is better vis-à-vis classes that have no business having powerful one-sided AoEs (Paladin, Druid, etc.). I still prefer Revenge Killer though.
Obituariy Parrot by DuhmyNate (page 9) - I love the card especially the art! However the wording is ambiguous, it should say "Deathrattle: Trigger the latest triggered Deathrattle" or something along this line.
Spooky Scary Skeletons by Otovent (page 10) - Nice meme, but underpowered as fuck. It could completely have vanilla stats.
Cards I won't vote for even with modifications:
The rest.

I think the most interesting idea here is Haunting Spirit since it's spooky and has the most unique effect. In the vast majority of situations, though, it's just River Crocolisk. I think it would be more interesting as a Warlock card, as then it'll be feasible to actually take advantage of its effect, though you may need to reduce the damage to compensate. The rest just aren't that unique or interesting to me, except maybe Doom Shredder for the memes.
The first step as Death Knight is the same than as Pokémon trainer: choose between something green, something red or something blue.
Guys, I've got zero feedback for my cards :(
Is it that they are uninteresting or that almost anyone saw them? I'd like at least an answer even if it's to say that they are boring (and if it's possible, I'd also like to be told which one of them is less boring xD)
Oh, and btw, does anyone know how to make Adaptation-like cards? I can't remove the mana icon with Hearthcards...

I'm probably not the only one who gets the feeling that you're trying to shove all three (or at least two) keywords into a single card. This often leads to clogged text and effects that feel unnecessarily complicated. Maybe you should try something simpler?
Weird week so far - got many ideas, but few that actually work out properly. Anyways:
Somehow i really like the weird little contrast between 'Dorian Greymane' and 'Darion Mograine'. Huh.
Screwy Scholar is the more interesting to me. It would call for some decision-making to use and play against, and it's one of the more unique ideas I've seen. It just feels a little on the strong side since you could just trade instead of using whatever removal, especially early game. It also doesn't feel that Halloween-y despite the promising Deathrattle. Changing the name to Spooky Scholar or something should help with that.
Hopeless Champion: you should probably word it as "if an enemy Hero card has been played" becuase Death Knight tends to refer to the tokens that Arfus and The Lich King produce. It's nice to see some anti-DK hero tools, but this seems WAY too powerful. Maybe make it lose Divine Shield. I also don't think DK heroes are too overpowering that they need a stronge counter.
Leonel Bloodrage: Oooooh. Burgle and Weapon synergy? Sweet! Those parts of Rogue could always use some love, and this is a great way to provide it. However when compared to Leeching Poison (2 mana) and Blood-Queen Lana'thel (loses 2 mana's worth of stats), this a bit too potent. Thus, I suggest that you make it a 4/3 or 4/4. Additionally, the comma between "and" and "class" is not necessary.
Bloody Executioner: I like the idea of providing a Lifesteal weapon, but this is a bit too strong when compared to Arathi Weaponsmith. I suggest that you bump it up to 2. Regardless, I'm not really a fan of providing Lifesteal/healing in Warrior since it's not part of its identity (Armor is).
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!

Pet Lady: This card is goofy. Obvious N'Zoth, the Corruptor synergy but also Houndmaster, Kill Command, Stampede, Infest, Dinomancy, Bestial Wrath
leg so hot. hot hot leg. leg so hot u fry an eg
