Who's to say I can't still critique, review, and discuss? (Unless that's actually in the official rules, in which case, I'll just show myself out)
Congratulations to our Top 20; it was an honour to be in the Top 40, myself, but you all deserved this. I'll still pop in to offer my (limited) perspective on the class cards (and will probably still continue work on my own expansion, just in its own thread outside of any competition).
Dude, you got a wildcard :D
Im so jealous, I hope they make a second one before season 6
Okay, I've just tried turning Adblock off, as well as logging out and back in, and I still have no idea what you're talking about.
Between the "Magician of Midnight" and the "Orb of Destruction," there's this block of Arabic script in place of a Rare card. Maybe it's a similar thing when I had that deleted Imgur link where I could still see it but everyone else saw a dead link?
At least, that was the thing Cogito and I were seeing, not sure why you and Zukuu saw it properly. (Thanks for the reupload, although I will say I'm jealous because that is EXACTLY the card I had planned for my Paladin set, albeit with the phrase "Original attack" to account for buffs, both hand and targeted variety)
Congrats to all the Phase III finalists and thanks for the votes and feedback on Servitors of the Loa! I'm really happy to share with you my class cards, and I'm going with one representant of each crime family in each Phase starting this one with: Priest (Kabal), Rogue (Jade) and Warrior (Goons). Here's some initial ideas I'm working on:
But that's all for this week because I'm going to the Dreamhack Valencia 2017 all the weekend (Hearthstone and StarCraft II eSports HYPE)!

Oh, I have no idea how that happened. I just copied Zukuu's image and pasted it in. Does it look better now? It should so up as the Soul Explosion card.

Congrats guys! Even though i'm out, i'd love to stick around in discussions and help out with balance and/or design too! The more the merrier as they say! ^^
Congratulations to everyone who moved on! I have been sick the last couple of days, so I haven't been able to provide feedback. I'll be more active in this phase.
The whole "extending voting a day" has been met with criticism, and even though it could have had little impact on the standings, it can make people upset. I think that the best course of action would have been to not extend it, because that day mixed with the calculations on the other thread may have caused some people to modify their votes. Just my two cents.
Hurien's "To Netherstorm and Beyond": I ranted and raved about how much I like this sets theme and mood in my last review, so I'm going to dive more into the mechanics. Unleash and Unbridled Energy are great mechanics to contrast, without being incompatible. You can imagine 'aggro burn' decks trying to just stack token spells and you can imagine slow control decks strategically passing turns and betting on unleash effects. The legendaries are all looking totally great. As you move into the class designs, I'd start carving out some kind of 'psudeo-factions'. In Un'goro, we had elementals, plants, dinosaurs. I'd start looking at which classes you want to identify with Demons, which with the illiadari demon hunters, who gets netherdragons, who gets elementals, etc. I don't quite feel these psuedo-factions emerging yet, beyond Demons.
Thank you for your review and the kind words! Really, this kind of feedback makes me go and create more and more cards, it's very encouraging. I too wanted to create the pseudo-factions, because Un'Goro had them and felt really flavorful. For now I want to show hunter's spell synergies, mage's dragons and warlock's demons.
I wanted to repost some of the hunter cards, in case anyone wanted to suggest any changes. I think they are really cool!
PS: Yeah, this is nearly a repost, but it got buried in Phase II discussion thread... :D
But on to the actual class discussions, my three most complete classes are Priest, Rogue and Mage, in that order. So which two cards per class should I go with? I thought of having one Void Orb card and one non-Void Orb card for each class.
Priest:
(still need a character for the Legendary)
Rogue:
(currently have the name "Flying Daggers" planned for the ??? spell. Shoutout to Cogito for the name)
(I need to keep making the set in case you can't tell)
Mage: (don't worry, they don't have any random card generation except for the Legendary)
(Arithela is supposed to say "AT LEAST 10 unique spells".
Arithela Hero:
Going to bump this to keep this thread active. Hopefully Soul Explosion shows up properly this time.

All right, lemme throw out some cards - mainly Priest ones. I really want feedback on Vashj (not sure exactly how to represent her character. IDK if she has any defining character powers beyond having a really badass bow, but at the same time I don't want her to generate a weapon since Azshara already does that and she's a priest card anyways). There will be 2 other spells. One of them will probably have lifesteal.
The token art for Radiant Blaze shows it after Siphoning twice. For clarification purposes It's probably WAY OP right now. I'll probably drop the damage to 2, or raise the cost to 9.
I'll probably be showing off either Warlock, or Rogue, or Hunter. (Priest, Mage, Druid, and Shaman are my designated 'spell guys' if this expansion. Warlock gets lots of demons and Wither, Rogue gets wither on enemies and hopefully some stealth cards, and Hunter/Paladin/Warrior are more minion-heavy). Hunter probably gets Shandris Feathermoon as a legendary. Warlock might get an Avatar of Sargeras.
I'm so glad you guys are liking my expansion, thank you so much for the support!!! I just hope i can continue to impress with my class cards. My goal is to make finals... I need that border! ;D
Congratulations to all that went through to phase 3! There are some really neat expansions among the last 20. Looking forward to see what you cook up next.

All right, lemme review your cards!
From what I'm seeing, you're trying to push some sort of spell-hunter? It's sort of weird, especially considering the Yogg nerf and the loss of loch-and-load (heck, spells are basically the theme of my expansion and i'm not planning on having tons of them in hunter). Sorry if I seem too critical, I'm just like that sometimes. Anyways: Frostworm Breath: Hunter having Freeze is really weird. That, and I don't really like the card. Your opponent needs at least 2 minions for you to get value out of it, you can't hit the minion to the far left with the 4 damage, so it's not reliable as removal. Starbolt Ranger: Seems fine to me. Not sure if it should have vanilla stats, but it's probably fine as it is. Sunfury Bow: I'd word it as just 'lose 1 durability' after a full stop, like Atiesh. Volley: A worse Volcanic Potion that can be pulled out by your opponent before you can cast it on an optimal board doesn't really seem strong to me. I'd drop the cost. Terokkar Cub Tender: Wow. I'm not sure how good or bad this is, but I don't mind quest hunter getting more support. This might make the quest a bit too easy though. Gezzarak: Pretty cool! I like how her ability basically makes her unremoveable by standard damaging spells. Also synergises with all of your spells. Me likey.

Shkabush!

Hope you like one of these and I saved you some time :3
Ps. Can you make Arithela's weapon 3 attack and make the minion 3/15, imo it would fit better. I get what you are trying to do, but its strange (at least for me) that a 15 health hero comes out of a 7/7 :)

Azshara's Dancer seems fine.
Radiant Blaze is pretty cool. Imaging this with two Radiant Elementals + Shadow Visions is interesting. I think you'd need to cast at least 3 spells in your hand to make this worth the cost.
Tainted Priestess seems fine to me (I'm really good at critiquing cards as you can tell). Seems useful for Miracle Priest.
Metamorphosis is very weird. I don't think Priest really has enough damaging spells to justify this.
Just like Radiant Blaze, Handmaiden Vashj fits right in there. The reward is powerful, but also very slow and random and needs to survive a turn to really use it effectively.

Why does an 8 Health hero come out of a 7 Health minion? Majordomo Executus. I understand though. Thanks for the art. They're all REALLY good!

Oh cool, I actually made it. I wasn't expecting to make it because I rushed through like 5 cards because I'm super busy, and I kind of just shoved them behind the spoiler and hoped nobody would notice.
But seeing as the storm should me mostly over now, I'll participate in here. Forgive me if I'm relatively inactive, but that's just how my schedule is going right now.
I'll do a sweep of reviews tomorrow, but for now, here's my cards for this Phase! I decided to go with Paladin, Shaman and Warlock for this Phase, as I think they really help to show off things that weren't as prevalent in the neutral set, including more Dragon and Revert synergy. There isn't a lot of Echo in these classes, but I think that's okay, since none of them are super designed for it in the first place. The ways they do implement Echo are rather interesting.
Here's my keywords again. Additionally, I'm including a common card in each class that references the class alphabetically before it, mechanically. So, for these ones, Paladin -> Mage, Shaman -> Rogue and Warlock -> Shaman.

Majordomo Executus summons a different character, whereas this "summons" itself Lord Jaraxxus style :)
