This weeks theme comes from The_Odinsonwhose "Aimed Shot" was the winner of our "Premeditated" competition.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
Hearthstone is a game many of us have a love/hate relationship with. Sometimes the things Blizzard does to the game just really make our blood boil, you know. We just get TRIGGERED! Well, this week instead of raging about the new Rogue Quest, you can focus that energy in a creative way.
Your goal this week is to create a card with a Triggered effect. That means it must use the word(s); 'If', 'When(ever)', 'After', 'At the start', or 'At the end'. These words signal a Trigger.
Additionally the effect may not be a one use Trigger, and must be something that occurs any time the condition is met. This means no Battlecry, Deathrattle, Secrets, or Quest cards, as these aren't multi-use triggers.
Also your card cannot give a minion a trigger effect, like Blessing of Wisdom, as they give triggers and do not have a trigger themselves. The card itself needs to have a trigger. It cannot summon a token with trigger nor can it give trigger to a minion.
Preview Phase (Starts Now! Ends 20:00 UTC 13/April/2017) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic is made available, previewing this week's competition theme. Entry and Early Voting Phase (Starts 20:00 UTC 13/April/2017, Ends 19:00 UTC 17/April/2017) During this Phase, the Submission Topic is made available for your submissions. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like! Voting Phase (Starts 19:00 UTC 17/April/2017, Ends 19:00 UTC 18/April/2017) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Final Phase (Starts 20:00 UTC 18/April/2017, Ends 20:00 UTC 19/April/2017) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a new Poll Topic will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Poll Topic, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and poll to decide the winner of the competition!
Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.
So, without further ado, have fun and get creating!
Would this card be considered a valid entry, given that it has a Battlecry and a triggered effect? (the idea being that the character loves spreading rumors, but disappears when the shit actually hits the fan)
haha, I was just playing my wild Patches/ShipsCannon/GangUp otk deck. I love watching those ships cannon's rapid fire away an enemy board. If the rogue quest sticks around in the meta, I might craft it just to try it out with patches/gang up.
Interesting that Headcrack meets the challenge criteria. I think an easy way to have otherwise thought about this challenge would be "does the minion have a lightning bolt when played?" though maybe there are some of those that can only trigger once? I'm not sure.

Yup that is a valid entry!

I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.
Interesting theme with a lot of open possibilities! I regret getting too busy to submit last week, so I'm gonna try to be more active this week. Here's my first rage-inducing idea!
As far as Edriah the Gossip above, I would HATE to play against that card. It seems way too strong, especially if the Mage can copy it with Duplicate or the new copy spell.
Awwww, please tell me y'all are gonna make a banner? xD
also, this feels like it's gonna be a tricky week! But I do love a challenge...
We will definitely have a banner. But we're having difficulties coming up with one atm.. we have no idea how to follow last weeks magnificent Derpwing banner lol

Damn, my initial idea is very Lock and Load-like, but I realize that it's wording doesn't strictly meet the criteria. =\
huh, I'd think that Lock and Load and that new Stampede hunter card should qualify? I mean, they might not trigger more than once, but they certainly can.

Why not just take something like a picture of the Salt Emote on Twitch? Since it's triggered.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
So, as a first couple of ideas, do either of these count?
As for feedback:
Larvashu - Interesting idea, and would synergise very nicely with Steward of Darkshire. The various weapon removals would stop it becoming too dominant (imagine ramping this up to 15 attack!).
thepowrofcheese- Eww, rogue quest support. Seriously though, this could re establish Mill Rogue in standard, as well as support Quest Rogue (like it needs it). All I can suggest is maybe making it a 1/2, although that might be a bit too weak.
Fallen Piano - Does this return to your hand even if destroyed? because that is broken as hell. If it doesn't, then this seems like a solid support for a secret based deck.
Theoretically, you could create an inspire effect that doesn't qualify. The inspire effect would have to destroy the minion in question. Like the Void Crusher, but it always kills itself? It'd be a bad inspire design for sure.
There might other possible inspires that can't trigger more than once. Inspire: Lose the Game? Inspire: Silence this Minion?

I don't think these cards are allowed because the rules say the must last for possibly indefinitely, not just one turn.
Well, I made this idea JUST before to see this thread.
How it seems?
This is meant for Quest-Druid or Late Game Druid, since commonly Late-Game druids don´t commonly have early drops more than Tortolian Forager, so this is meant to curve early game or a good drop for playing other things, still not sure about the stats.
PD: I can´t copy+paste images in this post, idk why it doesn´t allows me :v

Lots and lots of room for variation this week.

Good luck everyone. I tried to come up with something interesting, yet restrictive. I hope its decently liked haha.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.

Inspire effects qualify by default, right?
If I could have some constructive criticism, advice, and thoughts on this card would be great. Thanks!
