So my first idea is taking a different route compared to I have seen so far. You see we know that Blizzard is trying to encourage playing elementals, but also when it comes to druids they have tried to get players playing beast like decks. So I thought that a card like this could be useful. I like to hear what you think about it.

My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
For those who don't know, in WoW Princess Tempestria leads an Elemental Invasion in Winterspring. She opens a portal to the Elemental Plane, and a whole buncha Water Elementals make their way into Azeroth. Still unsure on if I'll end up going for this or one of my other ideas, but thought I'd share.
The card is obviously meant for a control Mage, in the style of Lord Jaraxxus. In terms of balance... the mana cost of the Princess makes it so that you can summon the elemental immediately, and she also has 5 more Health than Jaraxxus. Of course, she lacks the weapon. I'm thinking this might still be too strong... giving the Water Elemental Taunt might be overkill :P
Another concern is it might just not be very interesting.
Okay last post for the night... like I said I'll do reviews tomorrow :)
Taunt warrior (Tar Creeper), potential burst for priest, and a completely insaneballs stonemother. xD to be clear, when she dies both players' used up mana crystals are destroyed... talk about slowing the meta!! Control card, but def a big risk to play.
I think Tempestria is really neat, although a little broken. Either drop the Health massively or tone down the hero power
It's The Pits! - Can't really judge this. Warrior might not even get class elementals, or can use the neutrals effectively.
Same for Channel Spirits sry. Too soon to see how effective Elementals are in Priest
They are neat ideas though....
Stonemother Therazane looks scary to play. Shes just a giant pile of stats not doing anything but waiting to be killed so she can screw you over. Don't really like it.
It's designed to combo with Ozruk, as well as with the discard synergies of Warlock.
Oh, that's neat! I've sort of had a similar idea before myself not related to Elementals, but this is actually way cooler, first of all because of the neat Ozruk synergy and second of all because, as a Warlock Card, it can combo into some interesting Handlock shenanigans. Plus, you can even use it to put "decoys" in your hand for discard effects! The more that I think about it, the more super interesting and strategic implications this has. Nice work!
Made this one. Might be a little forced. I created the card without the elemental part at first, and without the +1/+1 gain (so pretty much just "Battlecry: Silence all minions who've Adapted." The idea is obviously a Creationist who doesn't beleive in evolution (adaptation) and magical beings (Elementals).
I can't say that I'm very into it mechanically, but thematically it's on point. =D
Lastly found a mechanic that i actually like. This is also the last thing i put up here for a while. I SWEAR
The idea is that you have an ENDLESS amount of Elementals to keep triggering your elemental syngeries and stuff. Its never really a strong tempo play, but is usually stronger than playing your hero power. And the condition is manageable.
This actually brings up some super weird questions about elementals' mechanics. Up until now "turns" were individual. As in, each player's turn counted as a turn. Loatheb is a great example. "Next turn" isn't your next turn but the next turn in general. Elementals, though, are doing something different. When they say "last turn", they mean your last turn specifically, not the last turn in general (which would have been your opponent's). For all of the existing "last turn" effects, they're intuitive enough because it's never possible to have played a minion on the opponent's last turn, but for your card it becomes tricky. Does it still mean your last turn? if that's the case then the effect happens regardless of whether it dies on your opponent's next turn or your own. But if it means the last turn in general, then it only returns if it's killed on your opponent's next turn and not on your next one. This is definitely a consistency oddity.
Anyway, I had worked a little more on my idea, but tbh it seems a little lackluster compared to y'all's.
It's simple and basic enough to be believable, I think it's pretty fun thematically, and it's also pretty interesting strategically in how it forces you and your opponent to think about when/whether to trade.
I'm not sure I'll submit this as my entry for the competition (or even if I'm gonna enter it at all), since after seeing the final poll for the last one, I realized how similar it is to Manasaurus.
That being said, and I know I might sound arrogant, my card has much better flavor 'cus there's actually a reason for it to be an elemental, unlike Manasaurus which could be any other minion.
What's I think is more interesting about it is how it lets you recover from not being able to play on curve and therefore promotes some strategical usage of your mana pool across multiple turns.
The art is but a placeholder; I just wanted to finish this draft quickly.
I miss the Malygos Druid from old gods, I came up with this idea to give more steam to the Malygos combo, but I don't think it'll be my final submission Any thougths?

hey all, nice excitment building on he new xpac, high ratio of good stuff imo so far.
Watched noxious' review of the 2 shaman legends where he suggested a murloc/ele hybrid. So this aims to function with finja, increase the Quest completion murloc numbers and can be considered in a non-finja ele deck. GL all, will have a look at the page soon too.
The card could be broken with Al'Akir, i thought a different variant of it :
Can bring back Eternal Sentinel in a Mid'Range Elemental Shaman with Al'akir finisher or Overload Elemental Shaman.
Dont know about lore a lot, but i know it will open a lot of combo's or just fail like Dragon Paladin :D
Imagine a 1 drop elemental then your 2 drop murloc into 3 drop Earth elemental.
The first one is designed to combo with Ozruk, as well as with the discard synergies of Warlock. The other two are puns I came up with. What do you guys think?
The first one is by far the best. Don't bother with the rest. I really like the design of the effect and implications. You can add the elementals to discard them by another card like Soulfire, so they act as discard proxy, you can play it to let it count toward the quest or you can just play them, and they are flexible as well. Everything combined makes it maybe a bit too strong, primarily due to the recent quest. Just playing this on turn 3 and 4 means you can summon imps from turn 5 onwards straight away. Kinda gamebreaking. I think adding 2 would be more in line and prevent that, but then it would probably be too weak - at least as 3 drop. Maybe a 2 mana 2/2 or 2/3 would fit better then.
Mana Surge: The name 'Mana Surge' suggests it should be a spell not a minion. Effect could be interesting although a little complex. I love the idea of druids being able to access more mana if they store it but I dont think this is the best way to do it.
Moonlight Dryad: Cool card and well balanced which helps the combo druid archetype (which I think is a good thing). It gives options other than Gadjazan auctioneer. It doesn't feel as though its related to the elemental theme at all though (mechanically or flavor wise).
Elementalist Sharvak: Too many lines. Hearthstone cards only have a maximum of 4 lines. I Didn't understand what it did on first reading. I think its important that you know what the card does by just looking at the card once.
Shunky Alemental: Hearthstone would never make a card like this. imagine playing Malygos Druid and your opponent takes your Malygos. That was your win condition and the card you built your deck around and now your opponent has it.
Volcanic Elemental: I think the condition is too narrow and effect underpowered. Why not just an 'Elemental'? If the effect goes off this card isn't better than boulderfist ogre.
Emberscar the Devourer: Elementals with battlecry? How many of those are there? Probably not many.
Would love some feedback on my card Heart Burn (above).
in it's current form i believe it a bit under-costed for the potential effect - but an interesting twist on draenei totem carver. try experimenting with a limiter or additional condition to tighten this one up. for example, ' overload 1', 'deal x damage to a minion(s)', 'deal x damage to enemy hero', etc. strong art for the effect. correct the spelling error. best rarity choice, especially for newer players.
The player has the option of using it as a hard removal or as a way to generate elementals (to set up future plays).
So, this kills the minion you target, right? It's a little confusing with the wording. It would be a lot more straightforward if it just said. "Destroy a minion. Add four 1/2 Elementals to its owner's hand." Also, I assume the Elementals are 1/2 tokens? You didn't specifiy. As a card, it seems balanced. Using it on your opponent comes with a rather big downside. It's probably similar to Mulch, so it could probably be a 3 mana spell.
I think your card is a pretty interesting removal but filling your opponents hand with 4 useless cards (in most o the cases) without any consequence is really really good, even better than Blastcrystal Potion I think it would be o reduceo the number of elementals that you oppnent gain too three or increase the mana cost
Now, I think this will be my submission, the concept of the new rogue legendary was interesting for me, but if we don't get any synergies it will be absolute trash in the meta, so I think this card will give it more play or at least make a better combo with N'Zoth

Your wording is so much better. Thank you.
I believe blizzard making the 1/2 tokens a theme for elementals. They are ways to activate the 'If you played an elemental last turn' mechanic. They have released Firefly and Flame Geyser which make these tokens. I'll consider making a 3 mana version.

Ugh please stop with the prediction themes we all know half the cards are gonna come out imbalanced af :(
I think i'm just gonna stick with Elementals that work as standalone just so I can get a better feel
