That card does not replace your hero for the whole game but if you don't play any class card or hero power, you basically play as a rogue. But for your opponent you are an other class.

Under Review: Very interesting! But I don't think it fits this week's theme rules.
Hello. Let me introduce a new Paladin card, Arthas Menethil.
When your hero is Arthas, your healing spells gives you half of their value. For example if you use Lay on Hands on yourself, it'll gives you just 4 health. Forbidden Healing will give max 10 health etc.
It's actually a mix. More aggresive than basic Paladin's Hero power. 1 damage could be less, but 2 damage is really good. I'm not sure about dealing damage but if you target friendly minion, it's like bad power overwhelming.
Actually i don't know Wow lore great. Just know these from other stuff.
Since this spell automaticaly destroys your hand and deck, you will automaticaly be put in fatigue mode. You will have to use your hero power to destroy any threats or taunts and simultaneously attack your opponent with your weapon. It will take 6 turns to kill your opponent with your weapon and 8 turns until tou die of fatigue (if you arn't already fatigued prior to casting avatar). Basicaly its a fast way to end the game by racing your opponent.
General facts:
-casting does not clear your board, any left over minions can come in handy
-if already in fatigue, casting does not reset fatigue
-since your hero gets replaced, you loose all your armor
Did mine on Sylvanas, because she's my favorite character.
Sorry in advance for messing up any lore facts. But here is why I chose the following.
Sylvanas is part of a group called the Forsaken, and she has a "pact with the Val'Kyr who resurrect her upon death. This is also why I chose this specific Hero Power, and since you need minion death to activate this hero, her Hero Power is also consistent with this effect.
She has boasted many bows in her journey, but the one she has currently (if I am right), is called Deathwhisper. I chose the poison effect for her weapon because she is extremely deadly and efficient with these. You might be saying that the Poison effect is overpowered for a 1/5 weapon. But this hero only has 15 health, so it balances out.
Returned hero has the same state he/she had before Shredder Form (Health, Hero Power, Secrets, Weapon) and nothing from Shadow Shredder. Also, Shadow Shredder has nothing from your hero. Mana Crystals, as usual, are common.
Flavor: At some point, it looked like you were going to win, right?
Either an offensive or defensive move that needs to be played at the right time and enables interesting strategies.
At first, I thought about the effect being an aura with something like "While this minion is on the board, both heroes are swapped", but I think the battlecry and deathrattle mechanics enable more tricks with cards like Entomb, Unearthed Raptor, N'Zoth...
For clarification, you still lose the game if the hero on your side of the board dies and you still win the game if you kill the hero on your opponent's side, regardless of which one was your original hero.
So here's my submission for this week's design competition, which is Kel'Thuzad. Basically he's a card that needs a deck built around him, and like N'Zoth, Kel'Thuzad capitalizes on minions dying except he doesn't need Deathrattle minions. On the other hand, you need a lot of minions to have died for Kel'Thuzad to trigger -- 25, in fact -- so the trick is to play him in a deck with ways to create lots of tokens that die. Stand Against Darkness, Unleash the Hounds, etc.
As a hero Kel'Thuzad has 16 health (double of his minion counterpart's 8 health) and has the power to both summon the dead and freeze the enemy with a single push of a button. The Discover mechanic helps to ensure that you don't get, say, just a 1/1 token, and Freezing a random enemy helps with either stabilizing the board or 'win more'.
I decided on Illidan because of other alternate legendary like Ragnaros, Lightlord or Deathwing, Dragonlord, yet there is only one legendary that has a weapon so Illidan would be the next in both categories.
I put it in as the point in which it was before his betrayal to his allies and that he is pondering on whether he should betray them or not. I used the twin blades since they are his signature weapons and added windfury for the fact that there twin blades and added the hero power the betrayal for how they could use the opponents deck against them in some way.
So there is my entry for the card design competition.
There are basically two ways you could take use of this card: 1. Play it as a 3-drop (in Zoolock mainly) 2. Wait until your hero has 4 health or less and call for Jaraxxus (in Renolock and Handlock mainly)
The second usage is quite situational, but once the condition is met, it gives you incredibly high value. In most cases your opponent would play around it so that you might often need to deal damage to your own hero in order to trigger the effect (you have plenty of ways to do that as a warlock). Also notice the Brann Bronzebeard synergy.
Inspired by the tavern brawl named An Evil Exchange, say hi to Kel'Thuzad's kitty! When it is dead Kel'Thuzad yells: "No!!! A curse upon you, interlopers! The armies of the Lich King will hunt you down. You will not escape your fate..."
Why Kel'Thuzad is a priest card? Well, I found its hero power fit with Priest's resurrect theme. Also Vol'jin is a priest card too so why not?
This card sets your health to 30 again and gives you an incredibly strong hero power so 7 mana is not a lot for a 1/1 (Remember Jaraxxus is 9 mana do nothing). If you are afraid that it will be entombed, hexed or transformed, you can always use Holy Smite or Shadow Word: Pain. For other classes, you can just play it directly.
Also important: There is a draw back. Resurrected or resummoned cat will be in the form of Mr. Bigglesworth to avoid from constant Kel'Thuzad summonings. Therefore, make sure that, you played good minions before resurrecting anything.

And your new weapon, Frostmourne.
Here's the Undead Army: http://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Undead_art
You can summon only collectable undeads.
And your hero power, Death Coil

More synergy
So basically more C'Thun gimmicks.
I am a servant of the world. And if I'm a servant, then you should consider yourself a tool, at best.

I think shaman must have a spirt minions.

The true end has come. Or just wait till you run out of cards.
Lord Jaraxxus (Wilfred changes your Hero Power into Inferno! as well)

THERE IS NO GAME.

Now the Burgle Rogue archetype can do things properly.
"Hello. Would you like to destroy some evil today?"
Here's my final decision, I went though a bunch of ideas and I personally think this is the best
