This Week's Finalists
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
Here are a couple of clarifications on the finer points of how Costs works:
- Cards with a Cost cannot be played unless their Cost can be paid. These are not like Soulfire or Doomguard, who can still be played even when their intended drawbacks won't do anything because you have no cards in your hand.
- Costs are assumed to be targeted if possible. If something Costs a friendly minion or a card in your hand, for example, it's assumed that you target a friendly minion or select the card in your hand unless the Cost specifies something random.
- For the sake of realism and consistency with the existing game, a card can only have one targeted effect. For example, if a Spell has a targeted Cost, then its effect cannot be targeted. Likewise, if you want your Minion to have a targeted Battlecry, then its Cost should not be targeted.
- Just like other existing effects, Costs are assumed by default to apply to elements on the battlefield rather than in your hand. For example, just as Shattered Sun Cleric is limited to friendly minions in play rather than ones in your hand, so would the above Devilsaur's "Cost: A friendly Beast." require you to target and destroy a friendly Beast in play. It's fine for Costs to destroy cards in your hand, deck, etc., but then they need to say so specifically.
Your card must have the Cost keyword. Cards that merely interact with the Cost keyword will not qualify, like how Undertaker would not qualify as having Deathrattle.
We have whittled down ~140 valid entries to just 16 of the community's favorites.
Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
NOTE: Cards with a black border have additional material, like explanations or unique tokens, located in a spoiler at the bottom of the finalist gallery. They are listed in order of position in the final poll.

Odd week, think the Keyword might have thrown some people off but we still ended up with some pretty creative stuff. Also Id say people were a touch above this week in matching aesthetics and theme with thier creation's mechanics. GJ guys
For Rehgar Earthfury, I think you should have stuck with your other idea of having the Hero Power summon the basic totem. These new hero powers are very powerful, equivalent to Justicar Trueheart, but you get to choose which one you get. Sure, you need to wait until you get the Totem of your choice, but having an option to choose between three Trueheart hero powers is still extremely good, and I don't think you statted this properly, because it is quite cheap for the power you get from it.
Also, I just have to point out that for Devourer of the Gods, wherever it is includes in your collection. You can buff and trigger effects like Vek'lor while C'Thun isn't even in your deck. So, the Cost here doesn't make any sense. Wherever it is needs to be able to trigger while the named card is in your collection, and you can't destroy a card that is in your collection. And if you wrote out "A C'Thun in your hand, deck, or on the battlefield", this would probably break four lines.

I'm honestly sad Harambe didn't make the final cut. It fit the theme, was fairly balanced, and was a perfect meme. 11/10 would vote for it again.

Is it just me or does Dazzle seem too strong? Discarding 2 cards for an incredible choice of a new HP seems not enough :S
You can't stop the signal.
I'd vote Dazzle if the hero powers are less overpowered
Primordial Clash got my vote.
Not only it uses the keyword properly, it's a well designed card that kind of reminds me of fusion summoning.
My favourite ones are Ancient Ritual and Wickeder Knife. Both simple, and very cool.
And, of course, my one.
Why Rogue is my favourite class:
My submission for this week's card design competition.
A couple card comments before i cast my vote..
Primordial Clash ... seems too OP to me... 2 mana to BURN everything and Never Die.. .. i think it can be played way to soon.. and should be at least (if not more than) 8 Mana Spell (for aesthetics and balance).
Devourer of the Gods.. looks cool to me as it's a "I need help now not later" card, and you would definitely have to pair it with 2x Doomcaller so deck builders would definitely need to think about which two cards would need to be cut to add it's ultimately a 5/5 with Avenging Wrath for 7. Do cards destroyed from deck/mill go to graveyard? if not.. then this card kinda sucks in a pure C'Thun Deck since the effect would only trigger once as second card would not trigger since first ate it your C'Thun.
Reghar Earthfury .. Was looking good until i saw the Wrath of Air totem power.. think it should be "The first spell you cast this turn has +1 Spell Damage".. sacrificing your 25% random chance at +1 for all spells for a Guaranteed +1 for your first spell thats cast...
Dragonmaw Bonecrusher... I like that it cant be played on curve(when do you have 6 armor on turn 4 against non-Priest/Warrior).. synergies well with Shield Block and Weapons (Gorehowl would be insane an a auto-include since revitalized 2 attack after turn).
A lot of the other cards seem way under mana cost for me.. so my vote goes to
Silvermoon Craftsman .. Sacrifice 1 durability (which will be what happens in most occasions) to get a 3/3 body on board.. +1 durability later. I think that's nice.. I don't need my weapon right now.. so i'm gonna Sheath it and have it later when i do. but watch out.... Harrison will be looking to disarm you immediately after killing the Craftsman so there is still a risk for taking your eye off your weapon...
Honorable Mention to Bribe and Wickerder Knife (perfect turn 3 curve filler)
THERE IS NO GAME.
Personally, I don't like this week's theme. It turns every class into Warlock: Power at a price
I do however, like Bribe very much, fits perfectly with the thematic and managed to translate a WoW ability perfectly into this game.
