The Set is still in development, changes may be applied.
Changes:
Ixial Yearling - Changed the healing spell cost reduction from 0 to 1. This will prevent other types of cost reduction such as Emperor Thaurissan since the card sets the cost to 1, no more and no less as long the card is in play. Stops any burst combos that can't already be done in the current format.
Priestess of the Moon - Changed health from 4 to 3. Changed rarity from Common to Rare, to prevent common occurrences in Arena.
And of course, the mandatory Golden Legendary.

That's some nice work you got there sir, it's a shame Blizzard don't copy user created cards, i am sure they could use your work. Btw i can feel the Part 2 hype growing in my mind haha.
Wow, absolutely amazing. Cards for all three of my favorite classes. Amazing job on these, love the idea, though I feel the legendary is a tiny bit strong.
The Battlecry is to Discover an effect and apply it when it's played, if you so happen to choose the Battlecry it'll trigger the new effect as the card says. It's a new effect but I won't tolerate any code related things, since that's of no consequence.
As mentioned, it's not something that's seen in the current game, it's not complex to understand it. The rule is in the card "Your battlecry is to choose a Battlecry(if you chose it)" -> Trigger 1, trigger the other. BECAUSE you apply it in it's resolve order. So that's exactly how it should be worded/rule.
Most of ixial's effect to pick from are way above the power curve and the Yearling seems a tad powerful. I don't think any of them would really change the way priest sits ATM.
I would personally like to see them have a legendary you include in the deck that can trigger before like Prince Mal. We know they have the tech to do it now so having two legendary's that start you off from the start as a shadow priest or a buff priest would be better IMO. That would allow the player to tailor the cards that play to those types of a priest with a matching hero power to start with instead of hoping to pull a card that makes them a priest of that variety..

I understand your concerns. Priest needs to go above the power curve(even when done, proven to not change much), in the order of Basic cards getting buffed or new additions. Since Priest has the majority of synergy cards that can't be played because of inconsistency. Hence, if nothing get's changed cards that go above the normal curve needs to be added, otherwise Priest will be stuck at its current position forever.
Let me remind you, these sets I make is not meant to be added to the game, but ideas to get inspired by. It's is and ever will be a fan creation of my design(I went for deck/board manipulation which I think is the Priest niche). Perhaps for Vol. II I'll go Shadow Form theme. I like your thoughts, though that's your direction. Would love to see you make a fan set!
Yeah, I always love seeing the cards people can think up for this game. I feel like the Priestess of the Moon is what they had meant for Stoneskin Gargoyle to be, a minion that you buff and get amazing trades with.
OP creates too OP cards. What the heck is "your healing spells cost 0"? Have Velen and Embrace the Shadow to instakill.
That combo can already be done in 2 ways in current standard and wild format. Do you see it around much?
Nevertheless, if worrisome. It could be changed to "Costs (1)".
edit: Changed to (1) so it can't be affected by other cost reduction. For future reference, I like your feedback but no need to be so snarky. Thank you.

That goes for everyone.
I like the Yearling change. That looks like a super solid card that adds a keyword that can be useful to Priest. I was just commenting on them since i love playing priest so much but it's horribly frustrating because the synergy of their cards is nearly impossible to get working unless you draw it. It's like design has 3 different ideas for priest but no single cohesive idea in general. Feel free to take the idea i had and run with it if you desire. I would love to see what could come of being able to finally tailor priest in a specific direction. Overall though i like the ideas. Keep it up and maybe design will catch on and give Priest some direction.
Thank you for your kind words and feedback people.
Remember it's a fan set to give inspiration above all, though if we leave that thought for a second I can see a few suggestions on what Priest really needs. Which is not correct.
What the Priest class needs in the main game is early stability card. Card that's either early sticky minions or removal that gives stability.
Priest at the moment has a lot of fancy buff cards and a lot of synergy cards(play this and that to gain this). The problem with that, there is nothing to use it on since there is nothing to play. Hence "pass 5 turns Priest".
Even with early minion drops today, it all relies on RNG that's always against you. Since you need to punish yourself to gain value to late.
That's why these cards are ABOVE the value curve of ordinary class cards by 1 to 1,5 mana. It's needed because if they were to release on curve value cards for Priest today, it would do anything since the next rotation is around the corner. The only way for Priest to catch up is to give em' the "Shaman Treatment". Go 1 to 1,5 mana of value above its curve.
So if you're going to try to convince me what Priest needs. Don't suggest 1 card, it won't help. Suggest the 3 things Priest is going to need next rotation if they're going to survive the next rotation. Which is, early sticky minion that enables all the buff cards(don't want to see pass 3 turns for a weak drop), early removal with tempo value and ofc a STRONG board clear(think brawl, flamestrike, elemental destruction).
Or.. say bye bye to Priest forever. It'll never catch up with the other classes.

Also, Priest of the Moon can't (or shouldn't) exist because there are some cards (divine spirit and taunt-givers) that would basically win you the game unless the opponent have a removal.
Early combination threats should be allowed, as there is for other classes with i.e Innervate and other combos alike that loose you the game if you can't handle it. Removal exists in the game for every class in many forms(it's a 1 card trick, if you invest a lot in it, it'll be a huge risk with a reward - Look at Edwin). The combination you speak of isn't something you can pull of early game unless you're really lucky with your draws and have an opponent that does not understand the threat. Exactly a minion Priest should have but never got.
Adjustments are always open for debate. Because unlike Blizzard, I don't have to wait 1 year. :P
The reason behind my 1 to 1.5 increased value is in the disclaimer(the high value was very much intended) and the other answers in this thread.
On a side note, next Set Vol. II has a Shadow Form theme, though I'm struggling to create a card that could activate Shadow Form or increase the rate of it being used. Any suggestions other than "Deathrattle: Cast Shadow Form, exit Shadow Form"?
Don't missunderstand me, I love Priest class and I wish it had at least 1 top tier deck but those cards are pretty OP. Did you forget what happened to shaman? Everybody wanted shamans to be good on ladder...
Also, Priest of the Moon can't (or shouldn't) exist because there are some cards (divine spirit and taunt-givers) that would basically win you the game unless the opponent have a removal.
I disagree. There are plenty of cards in decks that require hard removal in order for their value to be negated. Very few decks in competitive play/ladder do not play with a hard removal of some type. Keep in mind the card does say 1 damage at a time so any card that deals it's damage 1 pt at a time would destroy this card IE: Magic missile and such. Also Doomsayer is a general removal tool available to all classes and would remove it.

Main priest and hate aggro
You realize that discovering the Battlecry as the Battlecry means the discovered Battlecry won't activate, right?

Wait, so then does every card that has "heal" in the effect cost 0, or just spells. Would minions with healing cost 0 too?
