I honestly like this card in a more control Demonlock. Purely because Voidcaller exists mind you. It is just a pile of stats true, but it's a pile of stats with no drawback. Something certain other Demons lack. While Doomguard is nice, if you have to play it straight up because you missed the Voidcaller discarding your hand can be a lot more vicious a drawback in control than aggro. 6/8 one of body for Voidcaller? Sure, I would play that if it works out.
If a big Demon with a positive effect (In addition to Mal'Ganis) existed this would be trash, but it doesn't and dodges BGH while having a decent amount of health. Nothing to phone home about, but decent replacement for Dread Infernal in decks that ended up experimenting with Voidcaller control.
While I'm not entirely sold on it, there have been plenty of moments when I wish I had something bigger for my Voidcaller to pull out. Maybe this is just that. Being just outside of Big Game Hunter is a nice touch too.
Mate, ya need to chill out or get a bit more inventive. Warlock is a class that exists primarily off of neutral cards unless you play Demonlock and this expansion had a fair deal of decent Demons for Demonlock. Dreadsteed is the only mindblowing card, and is probably overcosted for now, but potentially killer next expansion or when someone works out how to play with him.
Sure, Fearsome Doomguard is a generic minion, but he's a freaking good generic minion and a generic minion with the Demon tag hasn't existed before. I would rate it a bit higher than I would a generic beast since Demons have better synergy cards. Warlock even got three cards that encourage a new type of discard deck. It potentially pushes a new deck into the fray, that's kinda cool. Why all the hate for TGT cards when Warlock is getting all that and then plenty of neutral cards for Zoo and Handlock? At worse this is a Bane of Doom buff, I'll gladly take that.
Quite bad but probably not meant for constructed, just something for arena or a slight bane of doom buff. Idk if blizzard is actually paying attention to arena considering the Warrior cards though
Are you fucking dumb? This is a budget option for a zoo deck. This can be a replacement for doctor-bgh and for malganis for example , because of the value of this comboed with voidcaller and it doesn`t get bghed.
This is a worst Captured Jormungar. Vanilla class minion worst than a neutral minion? Really?
How is it worse? Both 6/8 and 5/9 are 14 stats distributed in a fair way (imo), but it being a demon actually makes it far superior to being a beast for warlocks because of the tribe synergy.
This card exists solely to balance out the odds of Bane of Doom. Just adding the other three would have nerfed it. Stop trying to argue this is worth anything on its own.
Note one is basic and one is common.
Good solid card, great Voidcaller target.

Demon type means it can be buffed or void called, but more importantly it's existence is good for bane of doom.
I'm guessing a 7-mana 6/9 would have been too powerful?
That'll do, Huffer. That'll do.
As a vanilla class card? No.
Yeah, they probably should have just made it a 6/9 then.

more of a void caller/ bane of doom synergy but nothing too good.
warlock says mehh to TGT
I think it could be a nice target for voidcaller

So it's 1 mana more for 1 hp and demon tribe for Boulderfist Ogre.
Really below expectations. 6/9 would be at least bring reasonable value.
Even in arena I would still pick boulderfist because of mana cost.
Its for make demon deck more cheap to new guys, can replace Malganis in zoo(not soo good but make some damage).
I'd rather play dr. on turn 7, or summon doomguard/mal'turtle via caller, sure this one avoids bgh...as boulderfist for 1 less mana...

So fearsome that it doesn't do anything.

Bane of Doom buff :)

Boring but the game needs some cards like this.
Who can take your trash out?
Stomp it down for you?
Shake the plastic bag
and do the twisty thingy, too?
