Another RNG card, I like, on the first impression looks too strong, but have lot of bad legendary card on the game. And is a 4/5 cost 7. I think this only work well if you play and get a nice legendary at the same turn. We have 79 legendary cards on hearthstone (dont inclued tokens). So lets chek the %. (I took this classification based on a situiation of board clear on turn 9. I know some will disagree with some classification, buts is one average)
Has someone done the math how viable this one is? On a first look, it looks kind of weak.
Here the math. I think is a strong card because if you get a regular legendary the oponent need take care of both and maybe remove both on turn 9 are impossible.
I strongly disagree with many placements on this list and I would argue that some cards are a tier above just 'Good', but in the end I agree with the conclusion, this is too reliant on getting a 'nice' legendary the turn you summon her, and the chance of it happening is sadly not that good.
This, like many other slow legends, is leaps and bounds better if you manage a second activation, and add a ton of synergy to other inspire minions you might have on board.
I can easily see this card being super op. With Fencing coach, it's on average a 5/4 that summons a 5/5 (note "average"), one of which MUST be removed on that turn. Without fencing coach, that combo costs 9 mana. either way you put it, it's pretty strong.
Also, if this summons itself, it's pretty much gg.

Granted this is the list of legendaries that come from the paletress, I disagree on some of these.
Lord Jaraxxus is 3/15, after all, and can pretty much trade upwards with some of the lesser enemies, making the Paletress kind of 2 to many trade - IMO good, but not "awesome". Maexxna is a removal on legs, and by all means not "bad" - you either deal with it, or it eats your minions and probably remains alive (8 HP is enough to eat a KT or Dr.Boom, for example), and should you run Inner Fire with this, it might as well be a win condition in itself. Gazlowe is situational, but again, running a PW:S is not unheard of for priests, so there's some delayed tempo value out of this as well. Illidan Stormrage isn't bad, as it has a trigger, which plays together with what you already do, so he is above bad for sure. Stalagg is the same The Skeleton Knight except possibility to return to hand, so he's at least regular - 7 face is nothing to scoff at. And forcing a BGH off an opponent for such a worthless target is already a benefit in its own.
...well actually, that would be a lot better. You are guaranteed one legendary and you will also spawn a second one (which will never happen with the Confessor) unless your Sneed is silenced. Even if he is silenced it's not the same thing because Sneeds is 5/7 which is a huge difference as he will not die to any low mana removal spell or weapon or even Piloted Shredder like Paletress will. That combo can also much more easily spawn two legendarys in one go, all you need are two Feign Deaths in hand and one tick of Emperor Thaurissan hitting any 2 of the 3 cards.
And you don't see that superior combo much, do you?
The combo with Garrison Commander and also possibly Maiden of the Lake requires you to put both of those cards down the turn before and hoping your opponent does nothing about a 2/6 and a 2/3 on his 8 or 9 mana turn. Comboing with Garrison commander alone is possible if both the commander and Confessor Paletress are hit by 2 ticks of Emperors effect. And how often do you see the Emperor surviving for more than one turn? Right, and he's a 5/5 played on turn 6 - imagine a 5/4 played on turn 9 trying to survive. You can play Fencing Coach the turn before but that would essentially give your opponent the board if you play a 2/2 on turn 8, which would give him all the counters he needs for his play the next turn.
Honestly, it could have said "Inspire, add a random Giant to your board". In 9/10 times that would be better. It would remove all RNG from it and to be fair, Warlocks have played dual Mountain Giants with more cards on turn 9 so it would hardly be over the top powerful either. It would be a decent play.
There are 79 legendary's in the game 23 of which have battle-cries (I exclude King Mukla, Millhouse Manastorm and Toshley) so you have a 29% chance of getting something useless right there and unless the minion does something when it enters the current (and future) meta means that everyone who has Big Game Hunter runs it means that they will kill almost every good minion that comes out of the deck AND on top of the fact that Confessor Palatress's stats mean that she WILL be killed next turn you have to get something good to get any value at all, this card is basically 9 Mana summon a random legendary destroy a random minion with 4 attack and use your hero power.
P.S. I am running this card in every deck don't get me wrong.
I think it's not worth it cause you have to combo it to get value of her and she won't survive more than 1 turn most of the time. In most cases sneeds is just better on my opinion but i'm not that into the priest playstyle so maybe my thoughts are just dumb.
The hidden card was an Auchenai Soulpriest and I had played Justicar Trueheart earlier in the game so I was doing double hero damage. He grabbed my Iron Juggernaut, but still conceded afterwards. It was awesome. Paletress usually dies immediately.
i see no reason why you want to include paletress. unless you build around her (aka including bad cards) youre very reliant on rng. also most legends have battlecry effect you dont want to miss. just run the legend you want her to spawn...

Who can take your trash out?
Stomp it down for you?
Shake the plastic bag
and do the twisty thingy, too?
yes, 2 pages before.

It's utter crap.

Also, this list misses Majordomo Executus (my rating "awful/situational"), Nefarian (best), Rend Blackhand (regular), Gelbin Mekkatorque (regular), Elite Tauren Chieftain (regular, if available), Old Murk-Eye (awful - he has charge, but low attack).
There is a lot of steak here...
Another priest legendary in niche decks.
Not all who wander are lost.

Don't worry guys he's got your back

...
Paletress spawned Acidmaw... Opponent destroyed my board with consecration.
10/10
So I had this happened earlier:
The hidden card was an Auchenai Soulpriest and I had played Justicar Trueheart earlier in the game so I was doing double hero damage. He grabbed my Iron Juggernaut, but still conceded afterwards. It was awesome. Paletress usually dies immediately.
.
EXACTLY same thing happened to me, but against mage, and she used hero power + arcane missles to empty my board :(

She can get a little out of control..
yeah, if you are a streamer, run paletress ;)

even kolento....
I use her and I'm pretty sure she has a higher chance to spawn vancleef over any other legendary.
