Keep in mind that is a weak 6 drop. And minions still can be handled latter. So you loose tempo playing it and it is nowhere sure that you can get it back. Don't really know if it's playable in constructed. In arena it is fine hence it's value anyway.
Won't do shit against tons of actual competitive decks. I may be wrong tho.
If you cast 2 more minions you get the tempo back... its not hard.
Stat-wise, this card is only worth about 3.5 mana, so you lose 2.5 mana when you play him. This means that you need to play at least 3 minions after playing this guy before you start seeing a "profit".
The card really only pays off if you get to play him early on (with plenty of game left to play other minions). If you top deck him late in the game, he does zilch for you.
Personally, I think Aviana and Varian Wrynn are stronger than this legendary. The former two legendaries let you effectively win the game within one turn; Mistcaller is more like a slow burn that makes it more likely you win the game the longer it lasts, but doesn't stop the opponent from killing you quickly before you reap its benefits.
So lets calculate the value.Lets say you have a total of 20 minions in your deck.Mistcaller excluded 19.That means he has value of 23/23 that's crazy. It's nor realistic because of the cards that don't get played and previous turn cards but at minimum this card would get value of 14/14.

I don't get this card. If you don't draw it until late it sucks. It doesn't buff the board. Does it buff totems or tokens? Good for control and ramp, but it feels lackluster.
The mistcaller on turn 6 into neptulon turn 7, murlocs on steroids boys :D
Murlocs are not in your hand or deck so they dont get buff this doesn't buff totems from you hero power or the ones you get from Tuskar after you played Mistcaller. It think its justo ok it misses sinergy with a lot of stuff not to mention shaman dosnt even run that many minions and if you draw this late game you lost a lot of value.
I'm kinda disappointed it wasn't therazane, was hoping we'd get the 4th elemental lord(although I guess she could still be a neutral). This card seems pretty awesome though, although it is a massive tempo loss, but so if thaurissan so yea. It's probably going to need it's own deck though, can't imagine he'd fit in a regular midrange shaman.
To slow unless they release an op healing card for shaman.....oh wait they did that already.but that heal works only in decks with really expensive minions. And the buff isnt as strong on rag as on small minions like novice engineer.so in the slow decks where uuwould put This in, it doesnt matter that much. Still op.

The Mistcaller + Al'akir the Windlord = <3
Poor Neptulon tho'
Amazing card if drawn early or mid game-much like the Emp-he's horrid end game.
The Mistcaller on turn 6 into Neptulon turn 7, murlocs on steroids :D
"Meh" - Said no one ever
