if they make overload just "random" too lke 3-5 overload that could make this card OP? or in general make more rng the overload that could make shaman cards OP?
Pretty good in Malygos shaman, you can play one copy in control too tho, but in this case it will be a situational/extreme lategame card, because shaman really need a board even in the control shape (the hero power is board focussed as well and you get really good value from things like defender of argus) so definetely playable but i would be a better card if shaman was a control warrior type of control. Also good for comeback after an heavy aoe from the enemy
Twisting Nether says Hi.... Also Auchenai + Circle... Also Brawl.
Not really sure if that is disdain towards Elemental Destruction or not but you do realize ED is a shaman card while the ones you listed are not thus making your comment pointless?
I mean if you need to wipe the whole board, you probally want to do something next turn. With the (5) overload your options will be very limited.
You realize that this is here to be played TOGETHER with 2x lightning stoms? Of course blizzard won't create a better Lightning storm when Shaman gets buffed up so much any way
Ye sure I do. But ususally you want to use aoe against agro type of decks, where the storm's dmg is most of the time is good enough. And it wont wipe ur own stuff as well.
However if the meta will become more controlish, sure ED would be a nice late game caught up card,
If the meta becomes more controllish, 4-5 damage is not enough to deal with most mid to lategame minions, while you also loose any board you might have had... the overload is such an overkilll for what it does...

much better than flamestrike, because if you can play minions the same turn you clear the board gaining all control
