This card is so complex that even I am having trouble understanding its use.
My guess is that you need to have an all draw deck to make use of it (Dig for the card, dig for cards once you finally do discard your hand for power). Astral Communion decks will definitely run Coldlight Oracles, and many other draw engines.
I feel many will suffer defeat to this card. If I had ancients I would probably try to run this card, but I don't own any ancients so I can;t support the deck with the big boys it needs.
Fun card, I have a bad feeling about it. My face. I just pray I don't encounter on turn 1 (The 4 mana cost is the only thing keeping it from being insane in every match, but innervate enables crazy starts with it).
This isn't going to work out the way anyone wants. The actual line of play will go: t2: Loot Hoarder, opponent kills Loot Hoarder, instantly recognizes your gameplan because what the hell druid plays freaking Loot Hoarder, opponent goes full face for everything he has, you die on turn 6 after playing two big minions and attacking with one of them once.

I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
Initially I thought that this was trash. You discard your hand and then you're just top decking. But...if you were to design a deck with nothing but Astral Communion, Card Draw and big cards, then that wouldn't matter. Anything you top decked would be good. I'm thinking something like this:

Nope, only good creative players will see the value of this card and after that all the netdecking fanboys will claim they always said it was a good card.

The thing about this deck is that if you don't get Astral Communion in your first three draws you might as well concede. That's why I think this card won't see much play after the meta settles. You either get Astral Communion early and win or it's an auto-concede.
Really hard to judge. It could be completely insane, but discarding your hand is a pretty huge downside and not one taken lightly. The other thing to consider is that some games you won't draw Astral Communion and then you will probably just lose, because let's face it, this is a card you have to build around. I can't imagine a way for this kind of deck to survive the early game with average draw.
why is he talking about coldarra drake in connection with a druid class card? that is confusing :-) somehow he forgot that coldarra drake is a mage card

Well it's just a first draft. But due to the card draw minions, it actually has decent early game. And can be played as a sub-optimal ramp druid if you were to lower the curve slightly.

Ok this is creaaaaaazy. But how can some decks fight back to it?
Lol suddenly flame lance doesn't seem so bad now.
why wild growth? and you realise that it will happen to draw big creatures for 4-5 turns till aggro rapes you right?
btw aviana is useless in this kind of deck whats the point of her if you already have 10 mana and you are topdecking

This card will make mill druid more viable.

Their Turn IVE GOT THE FUN IN MY SIGHTS
You really thought I had something interesting to say at the bottom of my posts?
Sure. Why not? It's not like Druids can already cheat the mana curve as is or anything.
Whatever Hearth's design team is smoking must be some next level stuff.

WTF is this card?!! Turn 5 Deathwing!!
