Even then Fireguard Destroyer is one of the only four drops in the game that makes it along Shredder. Look at some tournament deck listings sometime you certified Sieldbearer. You really think 2 damage is going to make it into control? You really think people are going to be afraid of drawing four cards because you got a Shadowform? Please.
This card is actially something that shaman rly need. They lack 4 drops so you have this weapon. The hero power change is something to 2dmg let shamans finally go controll and beat aggro decks and controll decks at the same time.
Shaman lacking 4 drops AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No, Shamans have too many 4 drops. Not to mention that even if you play this on turn 4 you have to wait 4 MORE turns before you get the hero power

shaman use shredders because doesnt have any good 4 drops on its own, plus with recent 2 drops tgt got a bit nerfed. Fireguard destro is bad, that's why almost no one use it. The new frostwolf totem thing is pretty bad and will not see play for the same reason no one uses the frostwolf itself.
Yes, i have played plenty of shaman. And yes, this hammer will definitely see a lot of play. Its an anti ooze/harrison card, you can destroy it yourself and give an awesome power just better tan mage one, perfect for playing control mid/late games.

2/4 weapon is a JUNK on its own, stormforged axe disappeared from shaman decks for a good reason, this is essentially delayed shadowform, when the most valuable time would be to get free early drops...

nope, just saying that cause is obv futile try to clarify my pov to someone who thinks 2 damage hero power is not a control thing. And shamans have lots of 4 drops? Whoever decided that this hammer deserved an to be an epic level card should have their head examined. Charged Hammer isn't worthy to lick the bottom of Doomhammer's shoes.

Rarity (through epic) doesn't seem to be tied to relative card power. It more seems to be unique effects. I think that's how they decide how to rate it.
There are several buff cards upon death. Charged hammer straight up changed your hero power. It seems a lot more unique to me. Similarly, doomhammer is the only card that gives a hero windfury. Relative power has absolutely nothing to do with rarity. Otherwise top tier decks would be all purples and oranges.

^ I agree. In fact i don't think its meant to be used for the entirety of 4 hits, its waaaay too slow. Probably should include another weapon (Powermace or Doomhammer) to destroy it immediately to trigger the deathrattle. Either that, or play it together with Rockbiter Weapon for 5 dmg for 1 turn, then destroy it next turn.
I don't really like this card overall, for a 4 cost weapon with 4 durability, you wouldn't really get the new hero power until turn 8, and by that point, the "deal 2 damage" is really kinda bad, in my opinion I think this card plays far too slow.

I think you are giving blizzard too much credit. Powermace has a unique effect and is a rare (and probably an overall more useful card).
