Is this real? this is crazy good. Basically you get utility of a shade (leave a minion on board for your savage roar), or bluegill which you could use on the same turn as a roar in a pinch. Or, use a buff spell (and from the expansion, it looks like buffs are going to have some added utility). That's crazy good versatility.
A new build of druid is coming, and it will include this card.
This card is very fesatile and gives you the option to kill 3/2 or let it finish a stonger creature in the late-game, when you need 3 damage. The second option is like a darkbomb, where you pay the mana early and can than use it later. An interesting card, but it wont see play in the current druid decks, because they play high mana cost cards early that trade for 1 or more cards. They wont play any other early game cards, if they are not totally insane.

I think a good "choose one" card would be something like Druid of the Overpower: for 2 mana summon Dr. Boom or Ragnaros. Every Druid runs Dr. Boom and some run Ragnaros. Druids really need cards that they already play. They don't need any new effects, they just need their old cards, but overpowered to satisfy everyone. Yeah, enough said.
This beast trades up, with a possible turn 3 or turn 4 minion. Its a better stealth card for that.

What druid need is the 2nd and maybe even 3rd deck archetype. Warrior got its 2nd with the patron, mage has plenty so does paladin, priest is varied enough so why can't druid have nice things besides the obnoxiously boring combo deck. Fortunately taunt druid it's a thing now but this card could furthermore create a new druid type maybe aggro maybe tempo druid.

Why 2 drops?!...Druid can use a good 3 drops I say...2 drop is going to be Wild Growth or Wrath most of the time....Blizz...c'mon...
