This might create a deck like suicide black in magic, which trades speed for damage to your self. Pretty damn aggro, you might kill the enemy or yourself verry fast. I like the idea.
Cool card, playable but balanced, i liked both cards today, maybe they ran out of bad cards lol.
But they have an immediate effect and usually u use them as finishers (or "desperate" removals, but u want them as finishers) ... that is totaly different.
This card will indeed more likelly be good in zoo, as it can trade with 3 mana minions, and even some 4 mana minions, and this early on the game it's worse drawback would be around 4 damage done to your hero, maybe 5 if you trade it with 2 minions, but the trades would be so favorable it wouldn't matter all that much. if you think of it another way, it's a 4 attack fiery war axe that, while "easier" to remove, may stick on the field for more than 2 attacks, and I wouldn't say fiery war axe is a bad card
I'd use it over Succubus, nice synergy with Floating Watcher, good pick for Shadowflame... ya I'd consider this a damn good card. The Grand Tournament is not disappointing.
Early game of this card is not top tier but it's a cool card that can possibly survive if it gets played first. This card will be a removal bait because it'll psychologically affect your opponent (from rank 25 to rank 5 legend, they can overgreed and kill it without looking forward if they feel like dealing 3 damage + to your opponent is really game changing) so they'll probably use their early game removal on this card, allowing you to play your other prime target minions like Knife Juggler safely. On the other hand, it's a high risk high reward with a drawback that scales within the game. Drawing this card in late game is a nightmare as overkilling it gives you value. You may say that an aggro shouldn't let his opponent live that long but Blizz says that they are trying hard to slow down the meta. Including this card in your deck is the risk itself, much like Succubus. If it would be a 3/4, basically no early game removal would remove it meaning it would be top notch regardless of how bad this cards late game is. This card right now IMO is not that bad, but not that great either.
This is obviously no card for Zoo, zoo needs to trade and keep bord control. This card is way to agresive for Zoo. Its like those weird people playing lepergnome in zoo, zoo is no rush deck. This is a face card to kill enemy assap.
This card is poop imo. A significantly worse Flame Imp. You're basically paying an extra 1 mana for 1/1 additional stats and a much bigger drawback. Doesn't fit in Handlock or Zoo.

It has no synergy with Watcher at all.
What? None? turn 5 you have this on the board, play Floating watcher, trade somewhere, buff up your Floating? no synergy?
Floating Watcher is too slow to set up for an aggro deck, thats why he has no synergy.
Holy crap, are you fucking kidding me? 4 3 for 2 mana and 3 damage? Yes, please, autoinclude in every warlock decks. And this is common and not epic? Jeez.
Also, ALso Triple Damage from an Oil's rogue blade flurry, like if for example i reach 10 attack with my weapon which fairly pullable with oil rogue i can attack face+blade flurry which will damage the warlock and this guy and then the effect of this guy activates and you have a 30 damage combo, i'm loving this guy the more i thinka bout him, he buffs my favorite decks.
Wait a minute, wouldn't this card be capped at 3 damage to self due to it having 3 hp? Everyone seems to assume the opposite, but this seems more logical to me. Excuse me if this has been elaborated on. Very cool card either way, it nicely ccaptures the spirit of demons in that they are overpowered minions that can backfire in a big way.
Well, when you hit a one health minion with a six attack creature (for example...) the number that pops up is "-6" in a little jagged box - not 1, even though the creature only had 1 health. The damage was 6, however, so when this says "...Deal that much damage to your hero", it will do the damage dealt rather than the health lost.
Another example is Eye for an Eye. Suppose you hit the enemy and deal damage greater than their remaining health - you still take damage equal to the damage you dealt (Which can sometimes result in embarrassing draws), even though they didn't even have enough health to lose. In fact, the health number can even go negative, so they do take the full damage, even if they have less health than that.

Can't really power creep on a card that no one played can you?
But I reaally like this cards design. It may or may not see play(I'm leaning towards may) but overall I love the idea at the very least.
Yay a good card!

So if a 10 attack minion attacks this minion will you take 10 or 3?
if this guy becomes meta i will play control warrior all day long and farm my free wins with 20+ damage shield slams to this guy's face :D.
Please demon thingie i beg you please be strong enough to become Meta and allow warrior to have a 1 Mana "kill Zoo Warlock" spell
Shield Slam Wrathguard for 20+ damage. :)
Poetic.

Sure... The 'drawback' of this guy is that if he gets buffed, your hero will be taking even more damage. But fine, it's a good 2-drop in a demonlock.
