Seriously now... why even bother wasting letters, when in the middle of your post you bomb us with this? How should your post be taken seriously when you wouldn't play this card in any deck for 0 mana?! That's just ridiculous. Two of these plus two POs and bam, you have a +14damage burst in one turn for 2 mana. Yes, it needs a demon, but even the current zoo is swarmed with demons, especially with Implosions.
I get that it's hard to resist the circlejerk, but that statement is just absurd.
Seriously, this card is WAY better than poisoned blade and it doesn't have this ridiculous hyperbolic level of circlejerk. The card is fine and if it were even +4/+4 the card would probably be very strong. I just hate seeing people say stuff like "if this card costs 0 mana I wouldn't even use it" because I see this quite frequently on many cards that are only slightly below average.
The simple question this card asks is "Is +1/+1 worth giving my opponent a mana crystal?"
So, what is +1/+1 worth? Bananas tell us it's worth 1 mana. Shattered Sun Cleric is a 3-drop with 2-drop stats because of this ability. It's safe to say that anyone would pay as extra 1 mana for +1/+1 and not feel like it was a rip-off.
Wild growth is a 2-mana spell that gives you a mana crystal, so the effect can also have an assumed cost as well.
So, the straight answer is "no", is is not worth it, in a basic pound-for-pound comparison of value.
So, would it work as a 1-mana spell? For me, the answer is still no, because Power Overwhelming is a card. I'd sooner kill my own minions than help my opponent move a turn ahead in the game.
So would it work as a 0-mana spell?
I still wouldn't play it.
This is the worst spell in all of Hearthstone, even if Shamans weren't becoming more totem based, and Totemic Might was just as bad as it is today, I'd still say this card is worse for EVERYTHING it represents. You can actually look at this card as a new player and have it stunt your growth. Anyone defending this card needs to have their brain reprogrammed so they can be retaught the basics of Hearthstone. Urgently... because something seriously went wrong.
If you're aggro you can turn anything on your board into +3 face damage. Similar to Arcane Golem, which is used all the time by Hunters currently and the +1 mana crystal for your opponent is largely irrelevant. Sure, PO is a card but THIS card leaves board presence much like Mark of Kings' +4/+4 for 2 mana less. Oh and yeah, aggro pally makes good use of that card and i think so too will aggrolock make use of this..
Your assumptions of it being the worst card seems like you're looking at it in a control or mid-range way. You plainly wouldn't play something like this in a deck that vies for control of the board all the time. This is purely 3 more damage in a different way.

It's not better than poisoned blade because poisoned blade doesn't have the requirement of having a demon on the board to make it work, and when it does work, it doesn't ramp your opponent ahead of you. Poisoned Blade looks like Dr. Boom compared to this card, and now I'm only SLIGHTLY exaggerating. This card is not simply below average, It's bad. If you get this card from Nefarian or Saraad, it will rot in your hand until the end of time, unless you're a Warlock, and it is turn 10.
No, you are massively exaggerating. Having demons on the board is extremely easy and in a demon synergy deck the card is playable for a tempo swing with no drawback turn 9. If you've ever played a deck with rampage, you would know the card is decent even with the arguably harder requirement to pull off. I don't understand the point of even bringing up nefarian or saraad. That's like saying darnassus aspirant is bad because it's bad if it comes out of piloted shredder. For a comparison, you get +1/+1 over demonfire and the drawback becomes less important or negligible turn 7+ or with low cards in hand. Poisoned blade for 8 mana will get you an assassin's blade with 1 less durability.
personally if it did + 5/5 or 4/4 i think it would be in a pretty decent spot, its good to save it for the lategame when mana crystals dont really matter or in a clutch to win or get out of sticky situtations, otherwise using demonfires is a better choice.
Since you are buffing and pretty much giving your opponent mana to deal with it and if they do they'll be ahead, its a high risk high reward card thats very demon like and its cool in that concept

After trying it out, it's actually one of the better cards Warlock got this expansion.
Amazing for tempo if you have cheap demons like mistress of pain, voidwalker, flame imp.
Since you can put both demonfire and demonfuse in the same deck both are better you can benefit from the redundancy.
