This is not a minion for Mech Mage. Spare Part synergy is too weak and it has no synergy with others Mechs.
This is a great addition for current Tempo Mage lists that play a lot of spells and Mana Wyrm, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Kirin Tor Mage, Secrets and Unstable Portal. This minion helps to keep the board clean from tokens, especially against Face Hunters.
Is rng making the game better or worse. It's kind of fun to see a bomber hit the wrong target or an annoyingly accurate knife juggler but how much of that do we need, remember cards are a resource is spending them just to get a minor buff really worth it.? I feel like the more BRK cards I see the less excited I am to play them. I'll just have to wait and see. I hope I am wrong about them.
Actually, this kind of RNG, as well as card draw, is something the more skilled players can use to play to their advantage. Just look at poker, it's pretty much all about calculating odds of draws.
When it goes right yes, but that's the problem with these combo reliant cards, with so many gtfo cards (assassinate bgh hex polymorph and a million other spells you have to treat everything like a 1/1 no matter what the stats say If you spend your mana pool and card advantage on a gamble and then have the card instantly wiped out, it's going to be very difficult to come back. Most players will have strats to counter this kind of threat so when I said Minor I didn't mean the buff potential I ment risk to pull it off. I will have to see it in play to tell for sure and I'm not a professional player so maybe I am just wrong. I'm still learning the game.
Meh, I kind of like the design and can definitely see it getting some play in a tempo mage, but I don't think it fits well into mech mage like some are saying. My dream would be some sort of gadgetzan + apprentice infinite damage combo miracle mage type thing, but then I realize that requires at least two turns to set up and you also might as well be running freeze mage to go for a combo kill like that. I see this card being a medium-value card in some mage decks, but not as crazy as some people are frothing over. The 4hp helps with that so that he can stay around a little longer than some other three drops.
Will we maybe see a come back of the echo medive spell heavy "cancer mage" from the first weeks of GvG? I always liked that more than mech mage. I'm not convinced but interested. But no. I don't see this being in mech mage, like ever.
This is great I will definitelly put this into mage deck. Just save a The Coin, play a Sorcerer's Apprentice turn before , or just play it with the Clockwork Gnome and you will get some strong value.
This is a good card....unless you play it against someone with two dragon eggs and two imp gang bosses on the board lol. Not saying this will ever happen, just think it's kinda funny the introduce some more 1 dmg triggers when they introduced now 2 mobs who could seriously benefit from that (3 if you include the warrior card too axe flinger). It's almost if they introduced this creature to make the others better.
This card is good due to high population spare parts making minions among the mages. It can also fit in some OTK / Freeze mages decks, but I really don't think that people will start to play some second-tier spells such as Mirror Image only just to support that card. In mech mage 3 slot is already occupied with Tinkertown Technician and Spider Tank so the cards which could be cut for that are probably tier higher like Piloted Shredder which is bad (to cut) also. I don't think we will see THAT MUCH of a play of this card, but IMO this one is the best among the three shown today.
Thank god for mech warpers, like mana from robot heaven for mages, being able to finally get a pre flame strike board and have some left over to rebuild after double flame strike. It would be cool if there was a dragon warper in BRM with so many cards that need other cards I really hope so

To be honest I am hoping to see decks with less of an emphasis on Mech but with a bit of spare part utility to help make this card work along with other base mage spells.
I love how page 6 is crammed full of people who think only mech mage exists, and that someone will have to "invent" a "new" type of mage deck in order to play this.
I can list multiple 150+ upvoted decks that don't include a single mech, or freeze mechanic. (Well, maybe they include a Piloted Shredder or two)

It's really really infuriating.
Well some may think that, I am just hoping to see some of those existing decks simply become more popular. I love mage, it's my favorite class, but I knew that it was going to be universally hated when GvG was released and was more correct than I realized. So personally I am glad to see some cards that will help to diversify the mage deck pool.

I like it. I want "Spell spam mage deck" that annihilates everything :)
Am I missing something? It's not a mech.
its an anti aggro card, they showed some love for control mage at last

I think Mirror Image and Arcane Missiles just got better.
what about unbound elemental. its a 2/4 3mana
because this card will definitely never get dropped on the board after turn 6 Kappa

Brawl wrecks me 100% of the time.
